As a human, Dehvan was the first son of Asperogius, 3rd king of greece at the time. Born in the year 1394 to a noble family, being quite spoiled and sadistic, forcing two soldiers to fight against each other to the death as a child. Dehvan was a die-hard Catholic in the dark-age, but further back. Catholics killed other people gruesomely to "justify" there sin's and Dehvan was always present during those executions, even as a child. By watching and hearing the screams, he became scarred for life, strongly believing those who are not Catholic and those who broke the law deserve a gruesome death. As he grew up, he was trained in many arts, mainly fighting and training so he could of killed a dragon. He became one of the many known historical figures, having killed millions. His partner was a women who was called Joan, later known as Joan of arc. They both fought in the Hundred Years war, as the kings of england and kings of france battled for the throne. Having won the war with Joan, he gave her the honor of dealing the finishing blow. After France won the war, Dehvan learned of the betrayal done to Joanna, seeing her burned alive, with guards holding Dehvan back. Unable to comprehend the scenes before him, he fell into insanity and became hostile, killing hundreds of people and guards, spreading fire in the town, successfully destroying it. Having the name "Deh'vanen D'arce's", being known for his mass killings and unstoppable power. He then wanted to seek revenge against his leader and gathered a small group of elite soldiers and forced their way into the Throne of the French, it was at that time that Dehvan took a fatal blow to the heart, but still succeeded in killing the king. His group of soldiers were easily over whelmed and he managed to escape, leaving his group behind for death. However, he did not get far, he was bleeding, dying. He managed to a get two miles away. Finally, seeing the approaching soldiers, knowing they will kill Dehvan, he smiled and lit himself on fire on a tree, claiming that "I rather burn then have my grave disrespected" and turned to ashes and scattered in the air. People thought Dehvan escaped and called him the devil, others, a hero, however Dehvan died that day.

When Dehvan became a spirit, he was shocked, he thought after death everything was over. He tried communicating with others but they never responded, neither did animals. Dehvan was confronted by a witch who could see spirits and explained to Dehvan what happened and what will happen soon. Dehvan did not want to go to the soul society and claimed he will continue to avenge his fallen friend and left. Reaching the kingdom as a spirit, he saw the soldiers and dead king. The king survived but by the time the medics got there his was dead. Dehvan couldn't hold back a roar of laughing. The spirit of the king came out and Dehvan stared, claiming he should of never killed his best friend before attempting to kill the king as a spirit, only to realize he could no longer kill. Dehvan felt over-whelming anger and left. He had saw a dragon, a dragon with white armor and no eyes, finally, deciding he will finish what he couldn't in the after life, he picked up a sword and charged at the hollow, the blade went right through and had no effect. Dehvan, before realizing it, was experiencing fear for the first time ever.
Having escaped, he ran off to be followed but he managed to hide from the dragon as Dehvan's current reiatsu level was basically at a insect level. He wandered around places for a long time, going from kingdom to kingdom before his chain of fate had become too short. Suddenly, his soul being ripped apart, being in massive pain. Before he knew it, he was in a desert at night. With no knowledge, no smart, no nothing, only primal instincts. He walked around and happened to be at the wrong place as there were hundreds of other hollows everything was becoming one. Looking up, he saw a light, slowly progressing towards it. He was surrounded by the sorrowful screams of others on his way, seeing his human memories and not knowing what they were. He was falling deep into a abyss of darkness before he saw a familiar face of a girl. Just as he was about to stop existing, he regained his memories and forced his way up, into the light to become the head, the dominant will. He became a gillian with his unique mask, moving forward. He then wondered around until he decided to eat others a food and eventually evolve.

As the original Alter, Dehvan was always lonely and outcasted. Being a all black hollow with a large feline shape. His eyes being blue, the only thing noticeable about him. He always stared at the others as they glared back, giving warning growls. Dehvan was the most hated of his entire region. Every adjuchas shunned him, attacked him and bullied him. Walking in the deserts, he was all alone, leaving a trail of tears in his wake. Becoming hostile at anything that goes near him. When he became a Adjuchas, he lost his memories again, bounded by a unknown guilt. His heart was empty, his mind was blank, he had nothing but instinct. The others either ran away from him or attacked him. He was walking with a broken paw, one of the other hollows attacked him and broke his bone from the leg, literally having to hop every where, leaving blood as well. He saw the forest of the meno's and went inside, despite being eye candy for predators. Dehvan looked up and saw shinigami, but he was hostile, slowly befriended. Dehvan spend almost thousands of year without evolving. He met the shinigami who most likely felt sympathy for him. After realizing that he was sharing feeling he remembered how his best friend died during his living wake. Scared of the pain of losing one again, he left, to detach himself and become lonely. Building up a wall around himself to never let others into his heart, acting like he enjoys others company and acts like their friend but shares no real feeling and hates them. Nobody can see through his wall disguised as someone who is having fun but in truth, suffering as he acts. He went on for more than another few hundred years before he encountered something, it was a shinigami who offered Dehvan companionship and to distinguish all hate, of course, Dehvan was skeptical but agreed anyway. He then served under that shinigami. Dehvan, after that shinigami died, felt no regret, as he kept his heart closed off, so he would not feel anything. He left and began to consume hundreds of other adjuchas and finally evolve into a vasto lordes.

Finally, after almost a ten thousand years, within that time, he became a espada "naturally", having the number 2 rank. He saw Hallibel as the appropriate ruler, but suddenly he saw seven huge pillars of blue fire, seeing this, a army of quincy had came. Hallibel fought the king, but Dehvan decided to fight the second in command blondie. Dehvan fought for almost a entire five hours, within those times being forced to his limit, only to realize Halibel was defeated. The king claimed he defeated her hours ago and have been observing Dehvan. Finally buckbeard knocked Dehvan out and later forced him to work under him as "stern ritter 'W' for wormhole" but as soon as he came into the soul society, he immediately fled away, to go out and leave, not wanting to be forced back or tracked, he disposed of every single thing given to him by the Vandenreich. He then kept himself hidden until the war was over and went back to Hueco Mundo and stayed there until a long time later when the relics appeared, he then confronted Alter for the throne and used his ability to become one with Alter, both mind and soul, resulting in a permanent fusion of of both. Upon becoming one, he split a chunk of his soul and energy into Ikumi, giving her life and making her a living zanpaktou.
Personality: Although Dehvan has been known to be a violent and agile person, his actions tend to be for the best, or self-gain more specifically. He has a very poor sense of navigation, at times asking Ikumi for help (even though her sense of navigation is even worst than his). Dehvan lives for battle and enjoys a good fight. He also claims that injury and death are nothing but restrictions on a good fight. On multiple occasions, Dehvan has shown to greatly dislike those who can defeat him in a fight and to those who can push him to his limit. It seems that Ikumi sometimes contradicts his logic in fighting. On the one hand, Dehvan wishes to increase his own personal power, but on the other hand, he holds back his strength to enjoy a fight. Dehvan and his Zanpaktou, Ikumi, have been close ever since they met and have a Brother-sister-like relationship. Dehvan also strongly believes that fun comes before working. In every battle, he tries to get as much enjoyment out of it as possible before ending it. During his free time, Dehvan is always playing a extreme game of hide-and-seek from Ikumi so that he can sleep, having a advantage as Ikumi cannot see reiatsu. Dehvan's moist hairstyle is partly due to the result of his habit to take a bath everyday before and after looking for a fight or entering one. During these baths, he usually makes sure no one is around and starts singing random songs from the human world, more specifically, the female artist with seductive appearance and lyrics. He enjoys doing so because it's easy for him to get through his two hour bath. He once tried a hair dye treatment to make it black that was recommended by a fellow espada, but his hair became too silky and became pink for a while. Since then, Dehvan has greatly disliked the espada who recommend the product. Dehvan is once shown trying to remove his collar, which apparently takes a long while to accomplish. The front side in particular takes him ten hours to detach, as the frontal one haves his hollow remain on it which proved very difficult. Occasionally, the same espada who offered him the dye product, offers to do it for him, with Dehvan subconsciously growling at random times due to his dislike of the espada while the espada helps. Alter is also very primal, depending on his instincts and acting like animal, with growling, climbing, reaction, stance, poses, and sitting styles, similar to animal style. This is shown as he is subconsciously growls, not knowing he does it. Unlike the original Alter, this one is more active, emotion showing, and rational, he can be quite rude as he states what ever is on his mind despite wither or not it is appropriate or inappropriate. He haves a habit of getting comfortable in tight or unusual areas such as trying to sleep on a actual person, sleeping in dangerous places like train tracks or in battlefields. The furthest he ever took it was sleeping in the dangai exactly just after hearing its warning roar. This Alter is also sarcastic and not afraid to tell the truth and even acts dumb but he is still pretty smart and likes to confuse and stay one step ahead of a enemy.

Unreleased form : The zanpaktou appears like long whip, being nearly 3 yards long. The whip shifts from blade to whip. The blade is normal but haves a red marking on its entire blade, the hilt is a skull with a demonic smile. The guard is black and red but normal. Ikumi is a young girl with sky blue hair, sky blue eyes, and a hyper-active girl. She often gives Dehvan wrong information when he asks her about things as her sense of observation is even worst than his.

Appearance : Upon unleashing the blade, "Alter" becomes more cat-like. Dehvan grows a tail of black fur, while his clothes disappear. His lower body is covered in black fur, with his feet being paws. Dehvan's lower bodies fur from the middle extends upwards with a thin line into Dehvans neck which then spreads wide and grows into a small mane around his neck. His arms are covered skeletal hollow armor from the elbow down. Towards the wrist, it disappears and his hands become sharp black claws. The fur in both his arms extend to just a inch below his shoulder. In his exposed torso, he haves small blue ribcage like-markings on his sides. He haves one on his right shoulder, his left shoulder grows a armor-like thingy with a cape coming down, ending on thigh level. His teeth becomes sharp, hes eyes alluring red with no pupils. His hair becomes a inch longer than shoulder length and becomes black in color, with his ears disappearing and becoming cat-like on his head.
Physical Changes : His clothes disappears, he and Ikumi become one being again. He also appears a lot older.
Battlefield Changes : Upon releasing, rapid strong wind currents blow in all directions and leaves a smoke when done, hiding Dehvan for a small second, raising small tension. Dehvan haves a habit of causing a additional wave of strong winds to blow at all directions by unleashing a sound wave scream.

- Name: Unseen foretell
Description: A unique ability which allows Dehvan to store things. Alter can store it for later use by simply making it vanish. He cannot re-use or send a attack afterwards. for example, once he absorbs something then throws it out, he cannot use that again, he must absorb it again before he can throw it out. He haves no limit on things he can store but he cannot pile up a attack, such as if he absorbs two attacks, he can only fire back one at a time, so it does not matter how many of the techniques he got, he cannot shoot them all at once. He can also absorb himself and spit himself out in another location. This technique also stores all of his reiatsu in a pocket dimension, so technically he conjures his techniques. This is a variant of "Dimension Step", the technique Alter uses.

Description: When the ability is used, it creates a invisible sphere around Dehvan, immobilizing him, that is only visible when hit. The shield appears like a skull with a huge "X" going around it. The shield can break down projectile attacks, be it bankai, shikai, or resurreccion projectiles, into reishi that will absorb it into the shield, increasing its defensive power to withstand melee attacks. The shield can only be broken by melee but not easily either. Once it is cracked, Alter may be able to move again.

? Segunda Etapa
- Release Command : Slither and die
Appearance : When he uses Segunda Etapa, his attire becomes different. All the fur becomes grey. His entire lower body grows pure white pants, with grey fur boots with fur ending just a inch below his knee. His entire upper body still haves the thin line of fur going to his neck and becoming a small mane. Around his waist, a inch of fur in a circle goes down, acting like a belt but the sides and the back goes down to his ankle, it is only open from the front side. His fur from his arms extends to just half of the shoulder. The armor on his arms extend a inch over his elbow, and his claws are still black but are longer. His hair becomes white and gets two inches longer. In his back, he haves a spine-like line going into his neck, becoming a collar with the front collar having a long chain that is not in a loop no more. The Spine-like line also haves three rib cage-like extensions that will wrap around his sides and join with the one line of fur going to his neck.
Physical Changes : His appearance changes. Hes appearance becomes even more similar to Alter.
Battlefield Changes : Upon the release of Segunda Etapa, high pitched sound waves completely fill the area, so loud it forces people to cover there ear or risk bleeding from it. In a forest or a town, this can destroy down the whole town or forest, forcing the them to collapse. The area that Dehvan is in, due to the high pitch sounds, he becomes blurry to others until he is finished releasing, which is the time the sound stops.
Boosts: Incredible high Speed, all his reiatsu is hidden in another dimension thus he is seen as "reiatsu-less" and cant be sensed, only his attacks as they use the reiatsu he stores in another dimension. Even if someone like azien was completely transcendent, he would still not be able to sense the or see the reiatsu because there is nothing there to sense.

Secret Ability:
Melody of The Sinner Act 1- this allows the new Alter to use the original Alter's signature attack, ripping his arm to use veins that will wrap around a target to explode. Dehvan claims that "Since this was not my ability in the first place, it is kinda hard for me to use this like he did." [8/10]
Eye of Alter- Since Dehvan and Alter are now "one", Dehvan has acquired as weaker version of his eye. This allows him to see reiatsu and a give him a better vision, but that is it. He must drain energy from hell to fully use this ability but the new Alter does not want to, claiming "I don't want to be some crazy druggie like him" referring to the fact he has access to Alter's memory.
Ikumi seems to have a better version of this technique on her left eye, being able to see names and see things within two miles of her sight. Unfortunately, when they both fuse to use resurreccion, Dehvan still does not gain a stronger version of the eye. Dehvan theorize he may have cut most of Alter's active soul into her when they split, causing her to have a stronger version than Dehvan haves. [5/5]
Absorption of The Soul- This ability was permanently lost to Dehvan upon using it. It allowed him to combine his soul, will, and body with another soul. Doing this against someones will results in permanent disability to use this again, and both there "memories" and "will" is forcefully fused into one, where when the other person is willing, they both can switch between control of the body and persona and have full access to each others abilities. Having this forcefully used like before, results in permanent cooldown of this ability, fused persona, and partial abilities gained from the other soul.
Alter's superior regeneration ability- Alter's superior ability of regeneration is gained. Though, unlike Alter, Dehvan can only regenerate from his entire arms, any attacks done to his body((except his arms)) or head will not heal.
Secret Background: After the relic was obtained, when Alter returned to his palace, Dehvan challenged Alter to fight for his throne, having proved a worthy enemy, he fought to last breath to kill Alter who proved to be too much for him, not even using his resurreccion. Disgusted by this and amazed at his power, he childishly refused defeat and used his "Soul Absorption" technique, permanently fusing both of them. Dehvan would of been the dominant soul but he was killed during the transformation process along with Alter, having both their bodies, soul, memories, personalities, everything combined. This new Alter claims to be the "Successor of Alter."
