It was a slightly cloudy summer day. Livi was again wandering in a place she had never been but still within the forest of her birth. She never left it in a slim chance she might run into family. Though she would never admit that to be the reason. If she was ever asked she would tell them that the forest has more to offer scientifically. That it's so full of life that she finds a new creature to study everyday. Still the forest is a good place to meet new people. Especially during a hot summer day where the shad of the trees give relief. Or even on rainy days where the canopy above protect those under it from getting wet.
But this day was neither to hot, nor rainy. So maybe the chances of running into someone was lower. Livi didn't really care. She just really loved the nice feeling of the cold breeze wishing threw the trees. She had already spent the morning observing a family of birds. She felt no need to force anymore scientific encounters today. But if one presented it's self she would of course take the chance to learn all she could.

teepee
Wings cut through the air like an early twilight, the dark Soquili himself a blotch of empty space in the otherwise serene sky. The male inhaled as the crisp air brushed across his nose and expanded his chest. For a flying Soquili, it was more than an adrenaline rush. No, this was a lifeline. A freedom that no one else could experience, that others only dreamed about. And it was from those dreamers that Soul-Lexis hunted from, roaming above their heads with intentions to leave behind nightmares or worse. Afterall, he was not one of those angelic flyers, with glossed feathers and charming smiles. No, he was of another background all together.
With eyes the color of a cold fire, the stallion pivoted his wings to soar lower to the ground and casting his shadow above the tree tips. Today's pickings of dreamers was disappointing and unfulfilling. Not a sould to be seen so far, aside from the occasional rodent and pawed creatures. Much too small or hidden for the stallion to truly enjoy.
Mumbling a disgruntled sigh, it wasn't long before the Kalona decided to end his airborn hunt. The treeline was growing too lush for him to accurately see any prey below, and that fact aside he was growing thirsty. With a sudden bend to his wings, Soul dived down to the plains, allowing his hooves to catch his fall as they clattered heavily against the thin grass. Now to find a source of water.
