The sun was setting beautifully on the grasslands and was a wonderful view to end a day with. Ardhi was sitting atop an outcropping of rocks simply watching the sun set. He liked the idea of being alone but he knew he was never alone since a silly little bird had glued herself to him, not literally of course. He knew though that she was very close by and watching him. He really wished he could just eat her and then he could be alone and know he was alone. She never came within striking distance of him which made it very hard to eat her.
He was still enjoying the sunset even through the irritation he was feeling. There was no way in the world that this sunset could allow anyone to stay unhappy. It was just too beautiful.

Giza padded easily through the tall grasses without much of a care beyond her next step for the moment. The orange light from the fading sun and shadows of each blade of grass was painting her coat with a tiger-like pattern. It'd been a long time since her last run in with another creature of the plains so the large dark lion sitting atop the rocks seemed like nothing more than an extension of the rest of the mound and didn't even really catch her attention as she walked by them to hopefully find a good resting place for the night under the trees.

Movement in the long grass below him caused Ardhi to shift his gaze downward. He could tell the individual in the grass was large like a lion. It was hard to see much of the lion in the grass. Details on the fur where hard to make out but the color was unmistakable and familiar. For a moment he wondered if the lion even knew he was there because the lion just kept on walking. He pondered whether or not he wanted to speak up and let the lion know he was there. He hadn't talked to any strangers in quite some time so he decided he'd give it a try. "Where are you heading?" He called out to the lion in a voice that would reach the lion but not make the lion think he was a threat.
