i think it would be freakin awesome for it to be a high school sport! but it would take a lot to convince the districts and the schools to agree to this

I think it would be awsome if it was a highschool sport.

I think it would be awesome to have a Highschool paintball team. Most schools though look at paintball and see don't see paintball as a sport or think it is violent (atleast my school does, I've had countless magazines taken away) I've convinced only serveral teachers and showed that it is truely a sport. But as of right now that the age we are in paintball is still not seen to most people as a sport, yet alone my school has some pretty active paintballers in tourny community, we have the guy from Jax Warriors goto our school, another friend of mine who plays Div.2 PSP,some Div.3 guys, and some younggun players.Yet they still do not see it as a true sport, but just a meeningless hobby.
There is another flaw to a school paintball team. The money to support a active team cost a lot of money. I know there could be some sponsors inolved and students work but it still will not cover the thousands of dollars needed to support a team. You gotta fiqure between a team outfit, paint for practice, entry fees for tournys and fields, new equipment, and other stuff that a school who hardly knows what paintball is going to dish out this money.
I say give paintball another 10 to 20 years and this might totally happen, but of now it's just a thought.

I know the school isn't going to pay for everything, but a school that hardly knows about the sport is not going to dish out a lot of money. And even a Div.3 team for PSP can cost a lot.I find the idea practical and thats what I sticking with.
A local field might help if you get sponsored by them. If your not wearing them as a sponsor they are most likely not going to do much to help you out. Business is business and people want money.

Business is business and people want money. the thing is the field will basically be advertising them selves and they will get alot more business than before. theyre basically endoring the school and the school and the field out.
