Ico’s tail brushed against the bark of the tree he was in. Looking down over the meadow he surveyed he liked how quite it was at the moment. The morning mists lingered like a forgotten friend. It gave him time to think about his life and how amazingly changed it was now. His dear friend Trish was in a relationship of sorts. She liked arguing with a fox and Ico while amused didn’t much care for verbal debate so he left as quietly as he could most of the time. Then there was his fried Joou’s life upheaval. She was a vixen dear to his heart that he cherished and he had to admit to himself that he did like her. He wasn’t sure if it was love or the idea of such pure and honest affection that the vixen seemed capable of. Joou’s mate who had been gone for a long time had suddenly just shown back up in her life and with him a lot of troubles and conflict. Of course Joou still loved him so even though Ico felt a strong attraction to her he chose not to fight for her and instead slipped into the role of a friend only who would stand by and be her support no matter what. Ico would never come between mates who loved one another even if it meant he was doomed to spend his life alone.

(Its fine dear. Love Ico) Ehsan was a generally very loving, happy-go-lucky, caring sort of vixen. But recently she wasn't as upbeat as normal. She was still very caring and loving but she had a bit of sadness that hung over her like a dark cloud. She had begun to pick up her blue's mothers fear of not finding one because she wasn't pretty. While she had her white mothers light blue and her blue mothers grayish blue which was very cute. Her face makings made her look... well very odd and she didn't have that attractive glow like her white mother and some of her siblings. She couldn't believe it but she was beginning to worry over stupid little things like that.

Closing his eyes Ico was going to will himself to sleep or at least make himself relax enough so that sleep would be a possibility it was something that he was good at by now. As he started to drift off he heard a noise. His ears instantly perked up and he looked out seeking the noise. A noise meant something else out there and Ico was weary of such things even when he pretended so hard not to be. Out of the mists walked a vixen. She moved slowly like she was thinking about something. Ico watched her for a as she crossed the clearing. She was grey mostly which made her blend into the background, save her face which stood out like some bizarre ghastly contrast. Still the way she moved was graceful and didn’t speak of terror or of anger. Perhaps things were not as they seemed? He moved forward a bit to get a better look.

Ehsan wasn't aware of her watcher that laid above her in a tree. She didn't know that he was examining or that anyone was around. To her this place was deserted and there just for her. Her ears dropped in sadness as her thoughts made her sad and took her down a lonely path. Maybe she would talk to her mother and ask for pointers about how to deal with her appearance.

He watched her ears drop. Not being able to stand a female in distress he called out to her. “Ah excuse me. I seem to have forgotten my wings could you bring me something to land on?” He gave her a smile hoping that this clearly ridiculous statement might help cheer her up. He was perfectly capable of getting out of the tree on his own after all he had had years of practice.

Ehsan let out a startled gasp as a random male voice pulled her out of her thoughts. She jerked her head up to find a male laying on a branch in a tree. "I...Uh...um... Yeah okay," She said softly than headed off to find something soft for him to land on.

He couldn’t tell that the female had said anything at all from where he was. He could only see her startled look at him before she just started to take off. He kind of hoped that he hadn’t scared her too badly into leaving him stranded up in a tree. Scooting closer to the trunk of the tree he started to get ready to climb down if that was indeed what happened.

Ehsan came back dragging several pine branches in her mouth. She knew they weren't the softest thing bout if you had a good number of them they did soften the impact of jumping down from somewhere. She dragged them under the tree and got them all situated before slowly backing away while looking up at him.

She came back. Ico smiled down at her. He had almost thought that she had been scared off. “Thank you kindly.” With that he fell out of the tree and crash landed into the branched. There were several loud snaps as the branches broke under his weight. He grimaced laying there. He would have some nasty bruising in the morning, but at least he was down now.

Ehsan was about to say your welcome when the male pretty much rolled out of the tree and landed on the small pile of branches. It caused to flinch the impact and wince even though it didn't happen to her. She slowly moved closer to the male to see if he was okay but being cautious because she knew when some males where hurt that they could be aggressive. "Hey....you okay?"

He glanced at her from the pile. “A but roughed up but that’s to be expected.” He coughed once and then stood up. Yep there were going to be a few bruises. “Thank you for coming back k, for a while I didn’t think you would.” He smiled at her and worked his way off the pile. “that was a bit more painful than I figured it would be.” Grimacing he stretched to see where he would be hurting the most later.

Ehsan took a cautious step toward him as she looked at his side. She didn't want him to lash out at her. In a small voice she asked, "Why wouldn't I have come back? You asked for help so I found something that was suppose to help.....maybe lay down and let me look at your side?"

“Well it’s not every day a fox asks for help out of a tree. I know a girl who would have just called me stupid and left me there.” He smiled thinking of his friend Tish she was a sister to him even if she did scare him a bit from time to time. He lay down submissively to let her look at his side.

Ehsan's face showed that she felt appalled at the idea that one would call another stupid for getting stuck. Thing's happened sometimes and accidents happen. Why would one tear another down for an oops? She gently rubbed her paw over his side feeling for anything broken. "Im sorry to say this but thats rude of them."

“Oh she’s very rude. But she more or less raised me since we were young so I suppose that gives her the liberty to call me foolish every now and then. At least I’m fairly sure it does.” He winked at her. “We were both kits but she always looked after me even if her choice of words was a bit harsh.” He stayed still while she kept examining him.
