Bio: Toei Kururugi grew up in a small neighborhood in Osaka, Japan.
His town was quiet and populated by very few people which made the community very close.
Even with all this closeness though, Toei always felt a bit out of place.
He got along with everyone, but he never really felt that friendly bond or connection with any of them.
Not the children and not the adults. Confused and somewhat saddened by this, he began sketching and drawing in class, instead of having to face the people of which he could not befriend.
His teachers have never shown too much concern, as his grades were still very good and he was well behaved.
His art teacher, however, did notice him and his improving sketches,
and suggested he attend Black Rose Academy Summer School in the upcoming summer.
Toei's parents agreed, and while he wasn't too enthusiastic about the idea,
Toei figured perhaps he could use this school as a chance to work on his issue.
He officially started attending the school on August 25th, 2012.
