The students were to gather at the pink portal, texts sent to phones to bring them along the glitter marked path. She'd taken a few non students as well. What the school didn't have to sigh off she didn't care about. A mask around her mouth she waved at them before patting the tall boogeyman by the portal. "So you're the new group huh? You're all probably going to end up mangled and smelling like flowers by the end." He said, a Cyclops from the looks of him. "I don't know how she keeps managing to get the permissions but- HEY WAIT!" The treat or treaed. "If things go bad, use that to call me and I'll pull you out. She's left people before so." A shrug, the monster motioned to the pink portal. "Hop on through kids. Don't say I didn't warn ya, because I did." A jump through the portal, they find themselves tumbling into what feels like plushie stuffing. A very happy Trick or Treater stands in the front, mask having a small red light on. "WELCOME TO VALENTINES." Her voice is loud, and from the lights flickering on the mask you can only guess how loud it must be without the mask. "WE ARE HERE TO GET CANDIES. LOTS. NO EATING NOT CANDIES." She pauses, tapping her chin, "OR PEOPLES." Because that was just rude. Going to a bush she pulled out a sack filled with clothes. "DISGUISE. YOU WEAR ONE OR NOT GO." She shoves the sack at you. Well, it at least smells clean. "ONCE YOU CHANGE WE READY. WITH NO NAKED TIME. IS BAD. CHANGE IN BUSH IF MODEST. SHAME ON YOUR STUDENT SEX." She wagged her finger at them before smiling. "BUT I WAIT. CHANGE NOW PLEASE." A pause again. "ALSO DO NOT TO BE USING FEAR OF SKILLS. AND BADLY. YOU EXPLODE. A LOT." Quote: You have 5 outfit options. One is a cupid. Girls have a sash to cover their tops, but its not a very good outfit to say the least. Two is a sexy nurse outfit. It reads ‘Dr. Feelgood.’ The outfit doesn’t really to it for you with the pink and reds and white. Three is a dress that looks like a red rose. It smells pretty nasty. Like a living flower or something. Four is a teddybear. It looks like a baby teddyweddy. Sadly it lacks any extra legs. Five is… A HUNTER COA- oh wait no! It’s a really cute white and gold outfit embellished with hearts. It even has a hear shaped weapon! You’re pretty sure Desu-chan made it herself. It comes with a heart apron and rainbow hair clips. Pick one outfit. You can pick what someone else has chosen if you like. As Desu said, using FEAR attacks is a bad idea. The loss of so much fear will cause dissipation, and if you use your natural abilities or forms, you will take an HPcut. Quest students have NEITHER natural abilities or forms for this. They are locked. In each clothing set are two small pumpkin pills that replenish 20 HP each. You can break them in half for a use of a 10 hp heal.

If Mort had any reservations about this trip, the cyclops's words didn't help assuage them. At the same time, he also wasn't terribly surprised people had gotten left behind or maimed - the former because Desu-chan just looked capricious enough to not care for snail-pacers, the latter because, well . . . fieldtrip. He gave a small nod to the Boogieman and, with a small sigh, braced himself and stepped through the portal.
He was prepped for the vivid pinks. He was not prepared for the stuffing. With a small cry the zomboil took a few seconds to right himself, for the slightly sagging land had thrown off his balance. And there Desu was in her loud and exuberant voice talking about not eating the candy or people (neither of which sounded appealing to Mort anyway), and the student sex (which...Jaaaaack), and then . . . disguises.
He took a look at a few of them and made faces. Oh Jack no. None of them looked the least bit appealing, but eventually Mort made his choice and snagged him the much-too-Hunterish-alike coat and its assorted accessories, taking them behind the bush to quickly change. Rainbow? Really? Agh . . . Well at least it came with a weapon, even if the sword did have a heart emblem in the middle and a heart-shaped hand guard, and . . . Oh Jackdamnit, the hilt was rainbow as well, and the steel itself seemed to have a permanent glitter status.
Wry.
By the time Mort had slipped on the apron and stuck the hairclips, he just had no further comment to make except to mumble something about things I do for field trips . . . "Th-Thanks for pills," he did say to the trick-or-treater with a grateful look. It wasn't a commodity he was used to having around, and he'd take every leg-up he could get when stepping into the unknown. Especially since they couldn't use Fear attacks or their abilities . . .
Ah well. He was a third year. He'd take care of the students whether they liked it or needed it! It was a responsibility thing.
"If reacts so bad to using Fear, how come doesn't make us explode walking in?" he couldn't help but ask as they waited for the others to arrive.

His antennae having picked up a stray text Yi
Yin found himself at the portal, not entirely sure what he was doing there, just somehow knowing that he was there, and he had signed up for this. Maybe he really should start reading the class information sheets. He just looked a bit more closed off than his already reserved self, and his eyes flicked over the group, lingering on Mort, fairly certain that the zomboil would know of (the latest) fight he had had with Alexander. But this was for class (or so he presumed) and there was no reason to avoid the hob.
His attention was wavering, but he caught most of what the boogeyman said. Enough to know how to get himself extracted if necessary. He plunged through the portal without a second thought, and into a land of pink. Actually...it was not so bad. The scents barely tickled his nose, and the pinks simply reminded him of Miss Xiu-Ying. As for getting candies...well, he would not be the one eating them. No people was a lose in that he would not get to even taste them, but that was nothing new.
The real dilemma was the clothing. There were several good options. There was one with wings, which was delightful, but they were false and somehow that would feel wrong. A couple of dresses he would never wear. An outfit that was tempting simply because the apron reminded him of Octavia. And there. There was an outfit of true power. A bear outfit. He could still clearly remember fighting bears on the mountain...they were stronger than people gave them credit for. He went with that option, slipping on a suit. And then, just in case it got cold and while no one was looking, he put a bear suit on on top of the bear suit. Yeah, he was ready for whatever this land had to throw at him.

There was nothing but pink. Nothing but the portal up ahead that would sweep the witch away into the land of romance, where her favorite novels undoubtedly sprang from, where everything was in love and nothing hurt. So with the greatest conviction and absolutely no regard for the Cyclops, Belladonna bolted forward and hurtled herself through the portal, a loud "WHEEEEEE" all she left for Halloweentown. Good thing the next world had a bouncy landing. For a moment the witch rolled around gleefully in the stuffing, trying to contain her mixed feelings of excitement and horror. Why were all the other worlds so colorful? Hecate, it hurt her eyes with all the pinks and reds and white. A liberal dosing of black would really spruce this place up! In any regard, the witch sat up at all the shouting and happily skipped over to the very pink Trick or Treater. Her skipping was altogether much skippier than normal thanks to the stuffing, but she listened to Desu-chan all the while she inched closer and closer to the clothing pile. It was a bit sad to know they wouldn't get to eat the candy, but the presentation of a costume excited her enough to forgive this small disappointment. It took a moment of consideration because a few options were really nice, but it only took one additional look before the witch made her choice of Sexy Nurse and shimmed over to the bushes. There wasn't really any need for her to go behind them as she dressed in enough layers that the removal of her dress still had her mostly clothed, so it was easy to slip the little dress over her undercorset and remove the bloomers so that nobody saw a thing. The pills were appreciated, but Belladonna only happily skipped over to Mort, all smiles and bouncing... Well... Everything. "I like your sword." She tried in a serious voice, but couldn't help the little giggle that slipped out. Why couldn't the sexy nurse get a glittery sword?!

Mort made a face and held up the so-called weapon. "'Course you do," he remarked as it glinted like the skin of a vampire it was made of concentrated sparkles. Maybe he could blind someone with the right angle . . . "Mrrr. Nice outfit though," Mort added with a grin. Hello, Nurse~
"Know some people on this trip, thought might introduce." He turned to relocate a certain mantodae. "Yin! Yin, want you to meet . . . E-Er. Why have on two bear suits . . .?"

Yin turned at the sound of his name. Mort wished to introduce him to someone? So there would be no awkwardness then, good! Probably the ghoul he was with, though Yin had absolutely no idea what her name was (good job Mort!). Whoever she was she could certainly use more clothing. One would have thought that he would be desensitized to it from being around Miss Danny so often, but when he really just viewed her both wise (to Yin she made sense) and having the mentality of a child (probably closer to the truth) it was easier to ignore with her. With this ghoul...well, he really did notice where here eyes were, and he did his best to focus on those. "Greetings," he said politely and with a small bow before turning to Mort with relief. So he had been caught... "Well it might be cold or something could happen to one," he explained. He strategically said nothing about his thoughts of the suits having a bit of the bear's power. No, that he would keep to himself.

Costumes, bouncy floors AND new people? Well today just got better and better! The witch nudged Mort fondly in the ribs at his grin and appreciation of her outfit, but only happily bounced over to the mantis boil. For a moment Belladonna waited, smiling and patient until she realized that neither of the boys possessed the capacity in which to make meaningful introductions. Inwardly she sighed heavily, but on the outside it looked as though nothing were amiss. Instead the witch went to grab the bottom of her skirt, realized there kind of really wasn't one and instead just stuck out her hands and curtsied anyways. "Lovely to meet you, I'm Belladonna Divine. You must by Yin?" Dear boils. That is how you make introductions. Learn. Lots of scares, Bellsie"Is it often cold here in Valentine Town? I've never been! My first time." Another bounce to show how excited she was before the witch wrapped her arms around one of Mort's. "And its a nice bear suit! It would have been lackluster with only one." Meant as a compliment, the witch smiled extra bright to show she really meant it. Yin, Yin, Yin. Wasn't that Alexander's boilfriend? The zombie seemed missing thus far, so Belladonna wouldn't mention it. Just in case she were wrong and there were a few Yin's running about. It wouldn't do to go about making wild assumptions about people before the trip had really even started!

"Don't, ah, think will be cold here," Mort commented, tapping the plushie floor with a foot as his arm was looped with the witch's. "S'not Christmastown, d-doesn't have snow. I think." If he was wrong, well, ffffffffffjacknoplznosnow. "But guess having two i-isn't bad idea either. Seems like will encounter something if pills indicate anything."
Would a sparkly sword work against those creatures? Jaaaack.

"Indeed I am. I do not know if it is cold or not Miss Belladonna Divine. I merely wished to be prepared." Because Yin and the cold? They really did not mix that well. He did not stare long at the couple, he was not sure if he had heard about Mort getting a ghoulfriend...he thought he had...but even if he had not it was rather plain to see that Miss Belladonna Divine had chosen the zomboil. He glanced down at the costume, really not want to care much about his apparel so long as it was neat and clean. "Oh um, thank you Miss." In an effort not to see the ghoul in her nurse costume Yin turned to glance at the others. "So we are in another town? Just by...going through that portal?" It was slightly hard to believe, even though he was sure that he had read a bit about other holidays in one of his books.

Utterly charmed by Yin's good manners (excluding his introductory powers), the witch smiled good naturedly at his question. "Belladonna is fine." She quickly added before both her hands came forward, though one arm remained wrapped around Mort's. They waved excitedly in the air, indicating various points around them. "Sure are! Valentine Town! There are other towns too, but I've only been to Christmastown." Here she scrunched up her face unhappily. "Its cold there. Really cold. And its always snowing. Its simply awful to walk in snow." It really was. Heels did one absolutely no good, it melted on one's skin and was so abundant. Bleck. "But we arrived by train. Something I wouldn't recommend. Amityville and trains are not two words that belong in a sentence without 'something bad happened' in it too." Was that a joke? It was fairly weak... Since it seemed they had a bit of time on their hands (being the earliest ones to arrive, extra points for the good students!) the witch wiggled a bit, ready for adventure but trying to keep herself from darting off without instruction. "So, Yin! Are you a second year?" For now, she'd leave it at that. Next would come the deluge of other questions. Hopefully this awfully polite boil was ready for that. Almost no one was. And since she'd practically ignored her boilfriend, the witch lolled her head to one side that it collided gently the zombie's arm. "Those rainbow clips really bring out the color in your eyes." Now that was a joke. It was obvious she had very little real cutting up skills with the painful delivery of such a line.

Danny looked about being his his ghost form rather then his human one. He had actually been accepted to go on this trip? Even if his only reason was for ladies? He fist pumped slightly and paced off to find the others.
They had already all been at the gate to Valentines Day, and were getting information about what to do when reaching the other side. Danny of course was late to it all and only caught the bits about 'NOT BEING NAKED'.
He looked over himself and cocked his head to the side. He was a dog- they were ALWAYS naked. Bummer. He really had wanted to go as himself and not in his human form- but rules were rules and suddenly he had changed back into a savvy leather clad teenager.
NOW he was ready to go- no wait...they had a dress code too? Bad enough he couldn't go in his canine form. He ALSO had to choose from one of those appalling outfits.
Danny gave each the once over before finally choosing the 'Murse' costume. It was the only thing that had a hint of sexy to it. He surely wasn't going as an over grown teddy bear for one. He unbuttoned the top two buttons of the white jacket so that his manry chest could at least be seen if even slightly. Then tilted the hat to one side of his head so it was more 'dangerous' (eh who was he kidding? This one looked almost as bad as being a bear!) He then finished it off with his patented slanted shades and a lollipop hanging haphazardly out of one side of his mouth. If he couldn't eat any candy on the other side at least he had his own supply to keep his pallet occupied.
Jumping threw the portal he met the students who already had gone threw on the other side. "Sup guys..." He didn't feel so bad looking them all over. They all looked horrible.

Mei was ready. More ready than she had ever been. Missing out on the last trip to Valentines was a bummer but now she had gotten a second chance~
Of course, when she popped through the portal is was an assault on her senses. She knew that it would be rather bright. So bright that she shaded her eyes for a minute or two while she got her bearings. The ground beneath her feet squishy and plush. How did things live here? It was so.....so.....
Oh hey they get costumes!
The ghoul quickly rummaged through the bag and pulled out the Rose dress. She certainly didn't feel like being a magical girl and the sexy nurse outfit was just a bit too much. So flower power it was! She flopped into the bushes and after a few grumbles she had successfully gotten her dress on and hopped back out of the bushes.
Hands on her hips, ready to get on with this trip. Though the dress was only a little bit encumbering. It felt more like a prom dress than anything actually practical.

Sin knew this trip was going to be...interesting the second her black boot hit the glittery path. Hopefully however it would only end in glitter and pink clouds and not in death and fighting off whatever unnatural spawn the valentines world provided. She still remembered grimly the scent of pine and candycanes and how it felt to be molested by trees from her Christmas trip. She walked up and cringed when the cyclops mentioned the possibility of mangling...and flowers, joy. She stepped through the portal congratulating herself for having dressed in sensible tight black pants and a top that wasn't as revealing as her usual wear.
"What the..."
Ugh. She rolled out and cringed as she landed in soft plushness, well nicer than landing on something hard. She stood and brushed herself off clearing her throat and looking around. Her eyes registered a few somewhat familiar faces, but there was no one here she really had any close ties to. She sighed and tried to pay attention to the Trick or Treater...but that was sort of a challenge. Change? Oh no...Candy...okay no using fear. Didn't seem too complex, but changing...she had finally dressed for function over form and she had to change? Sin walked over and eyed the outfits in horror, her inner fashionista cried at the thought of any of them.
Sin grabbed the cupid outfit and changed into it she was tempted to go for the white and gold, but she was so loathing of hunters that the similarities dissuaded her. She let her hair down and adjusted the sash making it a bit tighter to avoid any embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions.
She came back out from behind the bush and made sure her pumpkin pills were secured properly. She really had no desire to talk to anyone now that she was dressed so ridiculously. She sighed and flicked her hair back irritated that the few strands of pink matched this place so well.
"So this is...Valentines" She shuddered faintly and crossed her arms still not quite trusting the sash to do it's job.

Kemnebi eyed the portal warily, the last time she had stepped through one, bad things had happened. Still, this was supposed to be a field trip...then again, she wasn't a student and knew very little about Amityville fieldtrips. And the cyclops was not being very reassuring. Shrugging, she stepped through the portal and immediately sank into the ground. Regaining her footing, He attention was drawn to the costumes they had to wear.
The cat-girl very nearly turned around right then and there. Closing her eyes, she reached in and grabbed the first outfit she came across. It was the outfit similar to a Hunter's coat. Ah well, it was probably the least objectionable anyway. Nebi disappeared into a bush to change quickly, coming back out to glance awkwardly around at the group.
"Hello." Damn. She wished she knew someone around here.

His nostrils gave a wide flair as his eyes looked over the land around him. The ground was white and fluffy- but it wasn't cold like Christmas town so it most certainly wasn't snow. Danny squatted over it and pushed his nose further into it. He didn't really like having human senses. It almost felt like a part of him had been cut off. He then frowned at the lack of smell and lapped at it a few times trying to at least get a taste for the land he was standing on.
It wasn't cotton candy either. Absolutely perplexed he stood up only to notice that Sin was among the students on this trip. Oh he really couldn't have had his wish for ladies granted any more so then Sin herself. He was almost shamed that he had not seen her sooner- or else he might have been able to sneak a peak at her changing. He blushed at the thought and tried to sneak as close to her as possible without seaming annoying.
"You are the only one that makes any of these costumes looks FINE."
He gave her a small tail wag and a flirty smile trying to wipe the flooring off his mouth. "It's not cotton candy if you are wondering...I already tried it." It became clearly apparent he should have stopped talking five minutes prior, he blushed yet again embarrassed at his tactics. Hopefully she would not remember that he was only the only one that defeated a Christmas tree by taking a leak on it.
