A newly minted hunter, Bix loitered around the training fields. After about a half an hour he sent out a text. kuromeez Got something to show you. Meet me at the training fields.

Gale just blinked owlishly at Bix.

Bix wilted, and Gale couldn't hold it any longer. He stepped over to him, and put a hand on his arm, squeezing gently as a genuinely pleased smile crossed his face.
"I was just teasing. You look great. Congratulations on your promotion, best mate."

"You suck you suck you suck!" He laughed and grabbed Gale. He shook him by the shoulders and then hugged him and then hooked him under his arm and noogied him. Yep. Noogies. "Thanks bro. Oh and check this out.." he stepped back and summoned Mina. The bow flashed into his hand but looked quite a bit different. Only a small tuft of feathers hung from a beaded charm on the grip. Now the golden bow was scaled like a snake and on the very tips theere were feather shaped silver blades. Bix spun it a moment, the blades shimmering. "Nice right? We totally levelled up."

Laughing, Gale dragged himself away from Bix and rubbed his head, pushing his hair back down so that it was flat against his head once more. His eyes traveled towards the bow, giving the weapon an appreciative once over.
"Very nice. Feel ready to break her in?"

" She's readier than I am I think." Bix smirked and glanced at it. Part of him was nervous about the blades. He couldn't grab the end like a bat anymore.. MUST REMEMBER THAT.

Apparently both of them were either too fast or too careless to pull of a decent shot. Bix's arrow barely grazed Gale's arm, just the the other's shot had simply dinged his own thigh. Way to go for levelling up guys. HP: 58 / 60 Dmg: 1 Charge: 1/3

"Well," said Gale. "Looks like we both still need a bit of practice."
Then he grabbed the barrel of the gun, held it in both hands, and swung it around like a bat, slamming the weapon into the small of Bix's back.

Bix took the slamming hit hard and his only retaliation was to sweep Gale's legs out from under him with his bow. Of course now it was bladed and it cut against his legs as he swiped. The archer took the opportunity to leap back several yards, out of melee distance. HP: 44 / 60 Dmg: 7 Charge: 2/3

And then he was on the ground, the wind completely knocked out of him. Gasping for breath, Gale rolled over onto his stomach and managed to wheeze out an "ow" before he pulled the gun out from beneath him (he had fallen on top of it) and fired off a few shots towards Bix's legs.

Bix's knees caved for a moment under the impact but it didn't keep him from firing a volley of arrows into Gale's chest. Randomly.. Gale's new gun was sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet looking. biggrin HP: 36 / 60 Dmg: 7 Charge: 3/3
