 The mare had been searching for a while, but she had yet to find him. Him being her father. She wanted to know what he was like, and why he had left mother all alone. There was many questions that she wanted to ask her father. But like many of her quests to find him they had lead to other adventures which side tracked her from her quest.
Humming escaped the depths of her throat as she moved along. Like always her mind had drifted from its original quest as she wondered what sort of Soq lived in these new found woods of hers. The sun was shinning high, calling forth the new day. Water dripped from the leaves above, left over from storm the past night. She didn't mind the droplets of water, she didn't care if the mud of the earth stained her coat. This was adventure and you were bound to get dirty on an adventure.
Tilting her head to the sky she stopped walking for a few moments. Taking in the warmth of the sun on her back. "What a wonderful day for an adventure." She spoke to the sky. Lilith shook her head flinging a few drops of water of her own off of her hair before the adventurous mare continued forth.

Helushka had found a secluded pond of cool water, it had flooded it's banks from the storm. But now it was once again hot and it appeared all clear and he couldn't help himself, he plunged in with colt-like enthusiasm. It made a big splash and soaked a rabbit who was sitting nearby. It fled in sudden terror at being soaked. Helushka snorted in amusement and ducked his head under the water and blew bubbles before tossing his head back up, water flinging everywhere. He nickered loudly with delight.
The couldn't get any better, could it? A cool pool on a warm day was a blessing from the heavens. But once cooled off, Helushka sloshed from the pond and shook himself off vigorously. He stretched his legs and tossed his short deer tail in the air as he kicked his hind legs out. Above him, Otulissa rustled her wings from her perch in a tree and she clicked out a sound of exasperation. He merely snorted at her.
A sound suddenly made him pause and his nose went up into the air. His ears pivoted around until he found the source and a breeze picked up in his favor. Another of his kind was nearby and it was a mare. He became curious and moved towards the mare, rounding a corner of thick trees to find her not far off. He watched her for a moment before nickering to her in a greeting of hello.
