I know, but I still feel strange, I feel like a little kid again… Tori said unsure of what else to say as she couldn’t fully grasp it herself. Also Lin I’m sorry what I said to you and being mad at you when I was so angry. I felt so betrayed, so angry and so lost when I you slept. I was angry at myself for not able to help keep the horsemen from taking Ami and not being there to protect. It was like I relived the death of Ceri all over again being able to do nothing but stand there.
Yawning some as Tori put down her pen next to the note book that she was closing. That will be a hard one to stop blaming myself as I have done that for so long, but I will try and stop it.
Sleep does sound nice even if it’s plagued with nightmares. Tori said as of late the forgotten times that wanted to be lost forever were starting to surface more and Tori less wanting to sleep. Once Tori had gotten into bed Aklin started to hum softly as the sound soothed his hunter off to sleep.

Feeling a little better the next day as Tori had for once gotten a good sleep since the siege on the island. Knowing what she was going to do today besides reading and working on her divisions stuff as she got dressed for the day. Tori had thought when they got Ami back and the others the horsemen had taken that it would be a good thing for Ami to have he own room at least in livable condition. The lifer had only known that her friend’s room had been destroyed by water and had lost valuable things to the water damage.
It didn’t take Tori all that long to find Ami’s room and she really hoped that the other lifer wouldn’t get too mad at her for helping cleaning the room up. When Tori opened the door to see that it wasn’t in too bad of shape as it had looked like Ami had done some cleaning up herself. Well Tori was totally going to finish cleaning it up the rest of the way were her friend didn’t have to do it herself anymore.
Looking around the room to see that there wasn’t much that Tori needed to do as it looking like the walls and floor were dry. Still feeling bad about being here without Ami’s permission as Tori touched all the surfaces in the room to make sure nothing was wet or had mold growing on it. It all checked out when she saw that none of Ami’s books were around and thought that maybe they were getting fixed or something and then she thought as Tori saw all the bed linen near the bed frame but there was no mattress at all. It must have been something that hadn’t been worth saving Tori thought as it could have been possible the mattress was very moldy and gross so she didn’t blame Ami for getting rid of it. Well it looks like there isn’t must left to do but get a mattress and I think those lights from Christmas would look good in here as well. Tori didn’t know how much Ami would like the lights but it might, but Tori thought it might just cheer her friend up maybe.
It had take some time to convince the quartermaster on why she need a new mattress and Tori had even explained that it wasn’t for her but for her friend that had her room destroyed by water and needed a new one. Tori listened to the quartermaster lecture her about how hard it was to get new things onto the island and a lot of other things that just were boring to Tori but she listened to it all and nodded her head in the appropriate places along that did the quartermaster finally give her the mattress that she needed. It took her sometime to get it to Ami’s room since it was awkward to move alone but getting it into the bed frame did Tori feel somewhat accomplished and now knew that she would have to be careful around the quartermaster if she needed anything or using a bribe next time as it might have made things a lot smoother as Tori would have to keep that in mind for the next time.
