The temperature of Clarice's office was ghastly, lowered to a dungeon-like chill.
This was less due to the fact that B0nez was a ghost, and more due to the fact that he had cranked the temperature to the lowest it could go and set up a battalion of (stolen) fans around the room at full blast.
He had spent the last two hours appropriating fans, keyboards, towers, monitors, and anything else not nailed down until Clarice's office was a jungle of wires, and at its very heart, a superstation of networked computers, all running at not-recommended capacities.
Killer watched excitedly through his remaining eye. His tank was the only surface of the room B0nez had left untouched, out of a kind of eyepatch-related camaraderie. Killer was too fat to be cold. The smaller floor-tank containing Bulldozer and Massacre had been less lucky, and Bulldozer had tottered around in worried confusion as cables were draped across the lid of his tank. As it got colder, he crawled into a corner, tucked his scrawny legs underneath him, and shivered.
While B0nez didn't have time to torture test, there was a certain gleam in his glasses as one by one, the monitors flickered to life.

It had taken some time but Rep had finally gotten some free time in the midst of all the being sidetracked and harassed by weapons. He had given up on his quest for sugar - the cafeteria was still a complete no-go zone. With no other reason to be skulking around the halls, he'd headed back to Clarice's office to see what B0nez was up to.
When he entered the room he felt like he was walking into some sort of majestic underground lair of tech. The server-room coolness of the air was such a welcome sensation after the low level clamminess of the island, which grated on him on a daily basis. The goosebumps across his skin felt like his body was reaching out to cling to the the air. He was a creature of colder climes and sometimes things just painfully reminded him of that fact.
He had been blazingly angry when he arrived - denied even the most basic sustenance and betrayed by Tracey - but he couldn't help the way his irritation melted away in the office. At least someone had an awesome weapon, even if that someone wasn't him.
"Hooly s**t man." he stated approvingly, circling the central station, daintily picking through the web of wires. "******** sweet job." To the sun hunter who'd had limited access to anything resembling a PC since ending up on the island it was like an oasis in the desert to a man dying of thirst. He passed the tank containing Massacre and out of a sort of reflex on seeing the bull minipet, reached over distantly to pat its nose, receiving an approving moo in return before he huddled back over in the corner, half sprawled on the somewhat unfortunate Bulldozer. But his attention span was not kind to minipets and all too quickly he was off again, this time edging around in front of the lined up monitors.
"Does it work?" he asked with all the tentative awe of an Igor in the pivotal thunderstorm that would wake the monster.

"Oh, sure," B0nez said, brimming with cockiness, "Nothing I haven't seen before. I think this one over here used to be a Nemesis, and this one looks like a Thermalstake. A lot of these say Dell on the side, looks like the same logo Hell uses. ...Basic s**t."
He'd encountered some problems he had not admitted to. The mix of human and runic tech was alien, and the clumsy golem hands didn't have a hint of a electric charge. He couldn't feel the currents like he was used to, and he kept getting the niggling sensation he was supposed to be able to just reach inside, but he had to go through the arduous task of disassembling and reassembling things instead. He had no idea what kind of specs these machines had.
But he was sure they were now optimized.
He could have really given his system the once over as a flashdrive, but he thought it was best Harrison stay away and distracted, for the time being.
"I was just firing her up."
He watched with equal anticipation as each of the computers whipped through the start up sequences. B0nez's shoes, like with any holy ground, and been left neatly beside the door. He was folded into Clarice's chair like a temple statue, hair floating eeriely behind him as though he was underwater.
The screens flashed. With the wind and drone of runic activity, it was not unlike the afore mentioned thunderstorm.
"Hehehe, hello~" B0nez crooned at the login screen. He stretched out bony fingers to type the appropriate information, then swiveled to grin at Rep. "Grab a station. Let's get this funeral started."

Tracey had mentioned the strange echoing parallels between worlds when it came to specific things, there being a resonance between hell and dell somehow didn't surprise him all that much. "Most of the workstations are probably standard network grade, nothing fancy, even jerryrigged togther. Still, way ******** better than nothing." He sat down at one of the stations, relatively unphased by the dangerous sounds coming from the strained runic tech - if he'd had Tracey or Harrison there perhaps he might have been warned off sticking his hands onto a keyboard audibly humming with power.
"Sometimes I wish I'd gone Life, got my claws into this tech proper." he mused, getting a handle on the setup they had going, letting B0nez do most of the login, after all, he'd been in the computer already a good few times.
"Then again, there's a lot of ******** idiots in the division and running it who'd probably remove living privileges forever if they caught me tinkering with s**t while working for them. It's pretty serious s**t if I get myself ban hammered from here, was why Ace and Jordan were so worried while I was restricted."
"Wonder if there's any way to get into the phone net from here.." he mused idly, it'd be so nice to get a bit of vengeance on some arseholes.

"I wouldn't mind, but having Hughesey at a terminal all day," B0nez tsked, "Sad. Determined, but sad."
He scrolled boredly through Robert's quiz game, answering 2nd grade math problems and watching as top-heavy women winked and wiggled out of their shorts, before going to find where the game's Application Support was stored.
"We wouldn't be the first to phreak the phones. The last one I was in, some~body had remote access."
Sandy's phone. It might have been Sandy. Being dead hadn't stopped him.
"Need more minutes on your company plan?"

The equipment hummed along in a promising fashion, but below the surface, the glow of their microscopic runes intensified. Cracks began to form. the ooc Roll 1d6 every post. Consequences stack! 1: sparks fly and a small fire erupts 2: electric blue streaks of lightning strike out and hit a character within the room - the first time it causes several minutes of blindness - the second time causes a hour on involuntary twitches - the third time they are either destroyed or hospitalized 3: a brainwashing screensaver sears itself into your mind - the first time it causes you to cry for several minutes. You don't know why, it's just that everything is so sad. - the second time causes an hour of thinking you're a proper lady who must do proper things quite properly - the third time they receive a one-day coma 4-6: Okay for now!

"Nah man, there's a few people who I'd ******** love to spook by getting into their phones. Maybe even just leave them a message saying Rex was here, put the fear of god into them that I might have seen all their ******** nude photos and whatever."
He checked through various folders curiously for anything at all worthwhile, finding one that looked to have permission restrictions on it. As the warning popped up to say not to proceed any further, he ignored it and considered it a heartening sign he was doing the right thing to get somewhere.
"Ohoo looks like someone doesn't want people going in here~"
Out of nowhere there was a flash and he froze, hand hovering above the keyboard as for a split second, he couldn't see. "What the ********> he snarled, covering his eyes until they momentarily cleared. "I have no ******** idea what that was, but there's nothing in this ******** folder. Empty. "
There was a sudden and decidedly overwhelming feeling of sadness. "Always empty. Always disappointment." And before he had any idea what the hell he was doing, he was sobbing into his hands. "I don't... I don't ... Why the ******** am I crying?"
He pushed back from the terminal, not wanting to get tears on the keyboard and end up dead or worse. "Why am I so stupid?" he sniffed "I should have known there would be a ******** deterrent."

B0nez looked startled at the crying.
After a moment, he edged a tissue box towards Rep with his foot. Bodily functions. You used tissues for that, didn't you? Or was that the other thing.

Oh it was on.
Between brief bouts of crying at the slightest little thing, Rep had managed to gather the resolve that if this computer was going to play hardball, he was going to take it on. He was awful and useless and his life's folders were always metaphorically empty, but he wasn't about to be defeated by a computer setup, even a runic one.
"Thankyou bro." he sniffled, taking the offered tissues and wiping his eyes before noisily blowing his nose. The tissue got crumpled up and tossed away in Rep's usual method of disposing of things no longer relevant to his immediate concern. He took another just in case to mop up other tears as he set back to work at the keyboard.
Going to the command line instead this time, he tried changing the permissions on the mystery folder in case it was a hidden file that he was looking for. What resulted was another flash, this one considerably more prolonged.
"Oh shoot. Shoot! The fricking thing still has security checks on it!" His voice had somehow along the line twisted into a rather shrill falsetto. He was oblivious to it. He blinked slowly as his brain had a moment where nothing seemed to line up very well. The PC itself dropped in importance on his list as everything redirected due "lady". His entire posture seemed to shift and he sat up straight, giving the room at large an imperious look. "Oh my goodness, look at the mess of this room young man! Weren't you ever taught manners? " He daintily tucked the unused tissue into his sleeve like a handkerchief. "You don't even have shoes on! Don't you realise you are in the presence of a lady?"

"Girlz ruin guilds," B0nez said suspiciously, then leaning over and adjusting his glasses in a slightly more eager fashion, "Did you grow tits again?"
If he had, they couldn't stay here, obviously. Girls + computers never worked out.
He wouldn't mind moving to the AV room, though.
B0nez examined Rep's chest for a very long minute. He was kind of relieved. He didn't actually want to deal with girls, now that he finally had everything he had ever really needed. Almost. The place could use some upgrades, and some real games, but...
He leaned further over, and looked at the file Rep had been trying to open. "What protection?" He asked, as the flash caught him and shone bright in his glasses, "it's not even-" sniff, "en- en- boohoohoocrypted," His nose and eyes glistened threateningly.
He wiped them, looking at the wetness in surprise.
"Oh Jack," he moaned, "Me too. This- this stupid golem, it's malfunctioning, I've turned into a- a- c-c-common blubbering hau-hau-hauuuuuunt," Snot and tears began to flow in abundance.

He didn't deal with being a lady very well, even as he fussed and tried very hard to sit in a ladylike manner, there was just something about his present shape that didn't want to co-operate. Still, B0nez got a very caustic look as he commented. "A lady does not speak of her bosom." Such an impertinent boy, he thought, waving a hand to shoo him off.
The computer. Even through the haze of manners and stereotype there was a nagging, gnawing thought that persisted. It had slighted him somehow and he owed it payback.
"Aww, don't cry dear. Here, have a tissue." The clean tissue stowed away in his sleeve was promptly produced and B0nez very likely would have found himself the brunt of a very grandmotherly tissue to face situation as Rep fussed over him.
The computer. Again that pesky niggling thought. He handed over the tissue proper and turned his attention on the keyboard. "Oh this silly thing causing so much awful trouble for us." He pressed a few keys and with an audible crack of runic energy, the computer rebelled and struck him with surprising force, the lingering static making the ends of his hair spark. He couldn't see. He couldn't see, even when he waved a hand in front of his face.
"Oh my goodness, did you see what that was dearie? I just simply can't see a thing!?"
