Hi flamed into existance at the base of the house that he knew belonged to Ivy, he had not visited her in some time, and he wondered what all there could have been that had changed, after all, there was not much for him to do nowadays, in fact, that was starting to bother him very much, so he decided to come and drop a visit to his old friend.

Ivy walked out of the greehouse and dusted her hands and dress off. She walked to her door and smiled as Hi was standing there. She hadn't seen him in such a long time. "Hi! It's so nice to see you!" She ran over to him and gave him a hug before he had a chance to recognize her.

Hi sputtered. "Do I know you?!?" He looked at her for a moment and his brow rose. "Wait... Wait... IVY?!" He chuckled and gave her a hug back. "Wow, you sure did grow on me, I see you quested, congradulations, I wish I had known before..." He chuckled.

Ivy laughed and then blushed, "Yeah, it's been a while since I saw you." She stodd back and showed off her new body and dress. "Thanks so much. I still forget that I look different to people."

Hi smiled and bowed. "Well I must say, you're a pretty as always...." He chuckled and kept an arm behind his back as he bowed. "Shoot me for being curious but... What of your husband? Did he get a quest as well, or is he still..." He made and awkward motion with his visable hand, not really wanting to finish the sentence, it was a touchy subject for some...

Ivy smiled and bowed back to him with a small giggled. "Chae? No, he hasn't recieved a quest yet." She shook her head, "But, I'm sure he'll get one someday." She wasn't sure if Chae was upset, he never showed it.

Hi chuckled and nodded his head. "I see, I am sure in time he will get one..." He shook his head slowly. "But enough, I did not come here to discuss quests after-all, I came here to visit my old friend..." He smiled and righted himself again, a smile remaining on his face. "Would I be overstepping my bounds to ask for an invitation into your home?"

Ivy smiled and nodded, yes her husband would get one in time, she knew it. She shook her head, "Of course not! You are always welcome in my house. You should know that!" She laughed and then led him up the stairs into the treehouse.
"Would you like something to drink or eat?" She asked as she opened the door.

Hi smiled and nodded his head. "Anything you wold care to make, I'm not picky..." He said with a chuckle, moving towards the living room to sit. "I would have brought something from home, but I wasn't sure what you would like..."
Chae stuck his head into the room, he was still a bit... Irritable, since speaking with his father, but that faded when he saw Hi in the living room. "Ivy? We have a visitor?"

Ivy smiled, "Ok, be back in a jiffy." She went into the kitchen and made her famous fruit salad. She put in all kinds of fruit, anything and everything you could imagine...and some you couldn't.
She walked back in with the bowl and smiled, "Yes, dear. Hi came for a little visit." She placed the bowl of fruit salad on the table in front of Hi and then went over to Chae, "How are you today?" He had been acting weird lately and she hoped he was doing better.

Hi smiled and started to eat, chuckling, and smiling at Chae. "Your wife makes a mean salad..." He said with a nod, eating at the fruit salad in front of him.
Chae chuckled. "Yeah I know..." He turned his attention to Ivy and he smiled weakly. "Better than yesterday..." He ran a hand through his hair and sighed a bit.

Ivy smiled, "Thanks." She rubbed Chae's arm and then sat down, "That's good. Sit with us and visit." She smiled and patted the couch next to her. "What have you been up to, Hi?"

Hi smiled at the two and chuckled. "Oh I've not been up to much, just working on my sword techniques, getting ready for another toe to toe with that shadow." He chuckled and shook his head. "But enough about me, how are you two and what have you been up to?"
Chae snuggled into Ivy's side and smiled softly. She was so helpful to him right now. "Oh... Nothing much with me aside from an issue with my father..." He grumbled. "But I'd rather not ruin the mood..."

Ivy smiled, "Oh, yeah? Seen it lately?" She remembered seeing that shadow so long ago. She put her arm around Chae and looked at Hi, "Well, we are grandparents now. Which, I still can't believe." She giggled and winked.

Hi chuckled. "I'm just waiting for my lot to have them..." He chuckled and shook his head. "Letha I'm not so sure tho..." He huffed. "Things have gotten complicated with her, I tend to avoid thinking about it, gives me a headache..." He laughed. "No, I haven't actually..." He smiled, "I'm taking that as a good sign..." He smiled.
Chae snuggled into Ivy and smiled, quite content, a little sore, but content.
