Aric is like a ray of sunshine and a breath of fresh air to most. With a perpetual smile on his face, a shine in his bright blue eyes and always willing to share a laugh or two with a stranger. Yet not unlike a child, this man craves the attention of others, always eager to show-off with his talents or wit of tongue, accepting and reveling in his delight of compliments and lingering stares at him. With this, he can be very much selfish, always one to be spoiled and lavished with attention, yet he can very much make someone else feel like they're the most special person in the whole world. But despite his charm and friendliness, he is not one to build strong bonds, to have long term relationship--to give himself and to stay in one place for too long--not really believing in the concept of a home--or perhaps not yet finding anything that feels like it.
Aric is an eternal optimist, always wanting to look to the bright side of everything and never really focusing on consequences of his impulsive actions. He always picks heart over mind, preferring to go out of his way to help people--wanting to help everyone despite how impossible the situation may be. He may certainly be naiive about that--and he would admit it! But nothing would change his outlook on that.

He came into Sunderland years ago by boat, originally from the far eastern countries of the continent. He never really knew his real parents--or of the city he belonged to, being too young to remember how tragic his parents lives ended quickly that fateful moment yet still remembering that clear feeling of fear and distress that day. Aric was raised in many homes after that, first in his aunt and uncles before moving along to be forced into work with some dangerous people, gaining many skills through that. He was never in once place for too long.
Even since he had stepped foot in Sunderland, he was never at rest, never owning any property of his own but making fast, brief friends and acquaintances and making money by taking quick jobs with what he knew he was best at doing. Word on the street he is the golden boy who can get anything and anyone he wants.
