A'in left the weyr he was sharing with the two Trine riders. It was surprising that they were all blue riders. He figured he would of been paired with someone else, but S'kiro offered up his place, having one of the largest blue it was easy to fit the hatchling and Troiseth into the group area. Besides that, the three of them seemed to get a long pretty well. F'iar was still adjusting to being a rider, but with himself and S'kiro around the new rider was learning fast.

There was still a lot to get use to, such as the warmer weather. The young rider pulled off his shirt, understanding why the other two always seemed to wear vest or no sleeved shirts when they were doing other things. Just like the three lakes, though it was nice if you wanted your privacy, one could find a nice little cove and relax.

Mine, come join me at the lake. Amusement was in the dragons tone, and A'in wasn't a complete fool when it came to that tone. Troiseth, what do you have planned? And which lake, there are three here. He smirked as the dragon tried to show him where, but he was hiding something at the same time. Come get me or have Beast or Streak show me the way. He barely finished the thought when a black Streak streaked past him, chittering the whole time.

I itch, Mine, Mazamath complained to his rider. It was a relatively common complaint these days, not because his hide was dry - Adi would never let her dragon's hide dry out! - but because of the healing claw- and bite-wounds that marked his blue hide. They were healing quite well, but the itching was rather irritating.

How about a swim? And I'll get your scrub brush and clean you up a bit, and maybe you'll feel better.

That sounds wonderful.

With that decided, it wasn't long before the pair was off, and soon they neared the edge of one of the lakes.

Troiseth lay submerged in the lake water, waiting for His to arrive. It was the best prank he could pull for here and so soon. Maybe it would cheer A'in up, at least the blue thought it would.

Streak kept making sure A'in was following him, zooming back towards him. The rider smiled at the black flit, "Keep going, I am right behind you." In a way he had to jog to keep up with the flits speeding progress. Did you really have to send Streak? Within seconds, they came upon another rider and dragon, almost bumping into them. "So sorry. I wasn't paying attention." He noticed the brush in the girls hand, but the dragon didn't look that bad, except some injuries on the blue's hide.

Right then, the flit gave a cry as Troiseth rose out of the water, like a giant dolphin, snake thing, spraying water on all near the edge. Sputtering, A'in looked at his blue in complete shock.

Adi was not paying nearly enough attention, chatting back and forth with Mazamath and looking pretty much everywhere except where she was going, and so gave a little squeak of surprise when she almost collided with someone. A quick look at his rank knots marked him as a fellow bluerider. For all that she'd been a bit startled, she recovered quickly and flashed a friendly smile. "Oh, it's okay! I-"

Whatever else she might have said was cut off when a blue - presumably his blue - splashed them all. Far from being put off, however, she was quick to giggle.

Mazamath, too, was amused, and his eyes didn't lose their blue-green cast. Hello, he offered to his fellow blue. That was very good!

He was about to apologize for his dragons antics when she giggled. It was nice to have someone else enjoy Troiseth's antics just like him. "Troiseth will be here for the rest of the week." He said bowing and shaking some of the water off. "Are you new here?" Like he would know, but he knew she didn't come from Benden.

Hello! I am glad you enjoyed it. I didn't scare Yours did I? Amusement and pride where in his mind. It was rare for him to get a compliment from another dragon, at least with everything that has happened

"Yeah, we are," Adi answered, still giggling a little. She brushed a lock of wet hair behind her ear and glanced at the mischievous blue for a better look at him. "We're from Malvren. You?"

Only a little, and not in a bad way. She likes surprises. Good ones, anyway. Fun ones! He studied the other pair appraisingly. If they were nice, that would be a good thing. His would be happier here if she had more friends. I am Mazamath, and Mine is Adi. It is good to meet you.

He nodded at her statement. "We are from Benden. I am A'in, rider of this one behind me." His tone was...well that of a rider who cared deeply for his dragon. The water was warmer than what he was expecting, which was nice for the soak.

Greetings Mazamath. I am Troiseth. Mine is A'in. He noticed that Adi had a brush, but His did not. Are you getting a bath done? Mine! I want to get scrubbed, please?! The blue was a bit demanding, as it looked like they might of made new friends. So many blues to meet and plan pranks with that Troiseth was enjoying himself more than his rider it seemed.

"I'm Adi, and this is Mazamath," she offered in return, her voice holding just as much fondness for her own dragon. "So, Benden, huh? I've always heard a lot about it, but I've never been. Well, except for the...you know, but that was just a big field, so it doesn't really count." And it had also gone completely south, but she didn't like to think about that, so she just glossed over it instead.

I am. I'm very itchy today, so I'm getting scrubbed. Aren't I, Mine? Mazamath prompted, gently reminding His why they were at the lake and she had a brush.

Okay, okay. "I was gonna give Maz a scrubbing. We wouldn't mind the company, if you boys are staying...?"
