Much as she was loathe to leave Tendaji so soon after returning home, Tujil-dasu was ill suited to staying in one place. Just a quick trip to the rogue lands, she assured him, no more than a few days' time. She'd told Tendaji that she wanted to search for her sister, only half a lie. She was always on the look out for her sister, but at the moment all she wanted was the freedom the rogue lands offered.
Although she'd heard of a vast pack of wild dogs... the Peke Na, was it? She headed in the direction of the pack, curious. Maybe her sister would be there.

Diefenbaker batted at a stray rock that had fallen down a rocky wall. It would seem that Peke'Na had been a little slow lately on activity and he debated on whether to leave and venture towards the rogue lands for a day or more. He had yet to see any of his siblings lately which was fine considering they had their own lives to live but still.. it would have been nice to chat once in a while. The sound of buzzing caused him to frown and use his paw as a fly swatter. Bugs, such bothersome creatures. The swat seemed to do the trick as the bug had yet to return. Maybe he would just visit the border of pekena see if anything was a foot.
Hmm. That idea seemed acceptable enough besides he could use the exercise. Indeed I shall. He stood up and stretched before heading out.

She could smell the pack from a good way away. Tujil-dasu took a lot of pride in her sense of smell, but at this distance all of the scents mixed together into a great big wave of wild dog. Nobody she recognized - or at least not at this distance from the borders.
She trotted closer, but soon stopped to swat at some bugs that strayed too close. bzzzzzz Growling, Tujil-dasu leaped in the air, trying to snap her jaws shut on some of the pesky insects. No doubt she made a strange sight, jumping about and snapping at the empty air.

Diefenbaker paused in his travels at the sight before him. It would appear insects were bothering a female wild dog. The border lands were an interesting place. "You know, if you were to rub a little part of your body along a nasturtium or if you are lucky enough to find marigolds, said plants would repel insects." Dief spouted random facts he had learned throughout one of his travels calmly and evenly as to not startle the female too badly. He continued to clarify. "They are red and gold in colour. The smell is-- hmm, not too pugnit."
"Lovely day is it not?" The sun shined on his well kept fur as his muscles moved when he wandered closer. "Perfect day for traveling around and what not. I hope I am not distrubing you from a task."

Tujil-dasu stopped jumping once she noted the male's approach. Flowers, huh? That was certainly good to know! She didn't know how she felt about having smelly stuff all over her fur; how could she smell other creatures if she was too busy smelling herself? Maybe she'd get used to the smell.
"It's a lovely day for catching bugs," she said with an easy grin, "even if they won't stay still. Thanks for the advice with the flower thing though... I'm Tujil-dasu, it's nice to meet you. Are you from the Peke Na?"

"I suppose it is," Dief wandered ever closer. "A good for catching bugs that is." He bowed his head a little bit in acknowledgement of the thanks as well as the greeting. "Of course, I consider it my duty to give advice when I am able. It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Tujil-dasu and yes I am. From Peke'Na. I am called Honorablelaw, that is my wolf name. My birthname is Dief, well Diefenbaker but I prefer either my wolfname or Dief. I am surprised you know of Peke'Na not many strangers or outsiders know of it." He paused to study her features. "You don't look familiar enough to be apart of our pack, so I assume you are a rogue?"
He tilted his head in curiousity, "Is there something I can help you with? Looking for someone? Are you looking to join us? Are you lost? I will try my best if I am able too. "

Tujil-dasu wagged her tail slightly as the male approached, not the least bit concerned. Neither the male's scent nor his actions made her think he was dangerous - so why worry? It was much better to think of him as a friend. "Nice to meet you Honorablelaw," she said, "and yes, I am a rogue. I like to know things though, especially about wild dog packs... I'm looking for my sister. I don't suppose you've seen her? She's like me, but a very light gray with gray eyes."
Not even waiting for an answer, she looked back up at the bugs. "Have you ever tried to catch bugs?" she asked.Tara de Draiocht Tujil-dasu's sister isn't in the pack so Dief wouldn't know her.

"That makes perfect sense," Dief nodded his head in agreement to knowing ones surroundings, it was safer that way in the long run. He took his time in accessing her body from a non-sexual viewpoint, it was more to jog his memory to see if her features brought back memories Tujil's sister. Dief caught her next question but decided to answer the first.. well first. "No, sorry. I can't say that I have seen your sister. I would have remember her if I did as I have a pretty good memory. I hope you do find her though, it is always hard when family is not around. Also for the bug catching question. Yes, I have-" He smiled unknowningly with innocent charm before continuing. "-but that was a long time ago. I was a pup at the time and was playing with my brother." He cleared his throat. "If you are in a hurry trying to find your sibling please don't let me keep you. I understand the urgency of lost family members and wanting them found safe as well as home."

"Ah well," she said, not sounding too disappointed.
She looked surprised at the mention of hurrying on to find her sister, then laughed. "She's no more lost than I am," she said, "and hurrying on today won't help me find her any sooner. There's another dog with her... can't say I like him too much, but he'll at least look after her. I'll find her some day, or she'll find me, but it won't be today. It's okay - we'll meet again."
She smiled her most winning smile at Dief. "And in the mean time I've found you! I've been living with a bunch of cats, it's been an awful long while since I've seen another dog. We should talk a while... unless you're busy, I mean," she said, correcting herself. It simply wouldn't do to be rude to the first wild dog she had run across in a good long while. Although she hoped he'd say yes - he was kind and she liked him well enough.

Dief tilted his head at her answer and mentally shrugged. To each their own his supposed. "That is true enough, this world can be pretty small at times. I myself have run into the same wild dogs over and over lately. Cats you say?" He paused at that. Yes he had seen numerous felines but to live with them? It certainly would be interesting. "Oh-" Dief was sort of shocked as well as pleased. It was rare that someone wanted to say a while and chat about nothing as well as everything with him. "Certainly a chat would do me some good and it would be best for us to converse in the shade. I know the sun's rays burn my skin underneath my fur something fierce." He gestured towards a crop of trees and politely continued to speak. "If you will join me?"

Tujil-dasu shrugged. "I live with this guy, Tendaji, and his family. He's a leopard, his dad's a lion, one of his brothers is a lion-leopard, one of his neices is a leopard-cheetah... cats are weird! They're all nice enough, but sometimes it's good to get away."
"I'll race you there!" she cried as she ran for the shade, tail wagging behind her. She might not have found her sister, but she still counted herself lucky for running into the male. Today would be a very good day.
