I'm not sure what subforum to put this in, so here it goes.
I had an empty, hard plastic Ferrero box and didn't want to just throw it away. So I decorated it.

Guilds need a tip function.

What did you use to make the raised designs?
What sort of paint is that?

The raised design is made with hot glue. As the box was clear, I drew the pattern on paper, taped it inside the box and then followed the designs with the hot glue gun. Took 3 full sticks of hot glue.

When the glue dried, I painted it with spray paint; first with clear primer, then with gold. I got my spray paint in the hardware section of a supermarket.

The gemstone isn't glued on yet, but that's where it'll go.

I love re-using old boxes.
The desgin is really pretty too, do you know what you'll use the box for now?

I'll have to upload a picture of the box I re-decorated it was an old cigar box I got some where, but it looks even better now~

Haven't thought of what will be inside. Maybe my jewelry, as I don't currently have a jewelry box.

I originally picked up the hot glue technique from a tutorial for a cosplay headpiece.
