Personality: Sweet as a cupcake and always willing to make friends, he is every bit the mini version of his elder sister. Unlike her he doesn't want to be a breeder. A interesting fact is that unlike his sister he does have a temper that when triggered usually results in grudges.
Due to his honest trait he can come off as snobbish, but he's just somewhat bad at socializing. He will at times, if you catch him in the right mood, be extremely harsh with his words as he takes a lot of things seriously. He's always willing to give second, third even fourth chances...but never fifth.
History: He started his adventure at the same age as other kids, but found a honest nack for battling. With his easy-going nature no one expected him to get as far as he did. He comes from a family of well known breeders, with a single facility as far as White Forest in Unova. His Father is a Breeder: Morphen Burrows of Burrows Breeders, while his Mother is a Gardener: Daliea Clement-Burrorws of Clement Gardens. He has nothing but sisters, four elder and four younger; plus two neices. The only males are his Father, himself and his brother-in-law.
Due to his nack for battling, he never made any true or real friends. Once he realized that even if he defeated the Elite Four no one would truly be there for him he decided to leave Sinnoh. While he had watched his sister and her first love from time to time, seeing her heartbreak made up his mind. So, he asked her to come along to the new region he heard of. He really wants to start over with his sister and maybe find love if its willing to find him.

Personality: If Laethe doesn’t need anything from you, he is typically just a jerk. He is direct, he is cutting, AND he is extremely opinionated.
It is only when he feels like there is a gain to be had that he will put up with the polititudes of human interaction for however long it takes. He can be a charming gentleman if need be, able to getting himself out of arrest several times back in Kanto. He can be a big flirt if the pay off is good enough. If there is one thing Laethe has an eye for—it is rare and powerful pokemon, and he might just be looking at yours.
In Team Rocket, Laethe had preffered to be the spy in the organization, gathering important intelligence of new or unusual pokemon, and occasionally having to steal a rare pokemon here or there. He is less of a muscle head than most of his associates, and is rather prudent about choosing his battles.
History: Laethe was quite young when he was first involved with Team Rocket. He was used quite frequently as an innocent errand boy in their ranks, able to ship supplies and pokemon via bike and not to be the least bit suspected. He enjoyed the pay they gave him while not caring much for his bosses. It wasn’t until Laethe got his first pokemon did he finally begin to rise in ranks.
On a night when a freak rain storm nearly flooded Lavender Town, Laethe found himself hiding in the Pokemon Tower for safety. While most people were put off by the priestesses and the unseeable ghosts, Laethe had had a good relationship with one (a lady whom though he reminded her of his son) and let him in. It was on the fourth abandoned floor, that he met spirit that terrified him—for it warned him to leave. Laethe was used to a life of being ordered around, he stood up to the spirit, telling the enigma that he could not leave (due to the flood), and that he wouldn’t. The spirit, for whatever reason, found his stubbornness amusing, trying to scare him with light flickering, cold chills, and pushing him around. It wasn’t until Laethe finally, accidentally, was pushed down a flight of stairs, did the spirit stop. Seeing the kid, with a broken arm, not leave even then struck a chord with the spirit, and in the morning light after the rain storm, the spirit revealed itself to be a ghastly. Laethe and ghastly formed a team that made Laethe one of the most powerful members of Team Rocket.
Quickly Laethe was able to make good use of his new power as a pokemon trainer, and was able to make more heists (as ghastly proved to be able to go through walls), do more espionage, and even eventually, get more pokemon for Team Rocket. It was obvious Laethe had a soft spot for abandoned pokemon, and eventually through his travels through Jhoto and Kanto, picked up a Houndour (Eventually helped him in his makings of various explosives and smoke bombs to use when needed), Scyther (Cut through his obstacles), Pidgeotto (Fly above any places he was scouting) and even a Diglet(To get into a place underground). Eventually these pokemon evolved, and formed quite the team Aethe had wanted.
It was only when some unknown trainer defeated the boss, and extinguished organization in both Jhoto and Kanto regions, did Laethe finally but heads with the law enforcement. One of Laethe’s grunts had been caught with a shipment of forced-to-evolve Dugtrio did the grunt turn in his connections, and Laethe’s hideout in Kanto was sacked. Laethe, uncertain to what happened to his commanders, or his henchman, was forced to flee, leaving all his pokemon in his PC. Ghastly—Now Haunter, was outside of his pokeball, and was the only one able to escape with him.
Laethe holds a new kind of bitterness these days, traveling across new regions in order to find some kind of remnants of his Team. He hopes, in the mean time, to gather some status. He doesn’t mind building a new team if he has to, to gain some substance in his life. Old habits, however, die hard, and he is not leaving a life of crime any time soon.
Other: He had a warrant for his arrest in the Kanto region. A wanted sign or two will occasionally be posted in other regions.
He used to have a Team Rocket partner who has gone missing.

Personality: He really is a two faced sort of guy. On one hand he can be the ultimate gentleman, on the other a complete jerk! Rarely does a day go by that he isn't thinking/making a move on some poor innocent person. Unless you directly tell him to stop via a Pokemon Battle, he usually would never listen.
If he is reminded of either one of his baby siblings, that Pokemon or Person is immediately on his good side until he finds them lacking a quality of said sibling. He despises being told what to do and will rebel quietly in his own way. Most who have worked with him say he is: Vain, egotistical and above all heartless when it comes to business.
History: His entire family has been/or is apart of the corruppted world of Pokemon. Both parents are high officers in Hoenn's two Organizations: Aqua and Magma, three of his elder siblings are established Thieves around Hoenn while one ventured out into Johto, two of his younger siblings followed the elder out as he stayed behind to assist the other three elders. Only one younger sibling refused to enter the corrupt world with the well-wishes of his family. The two youngest claim to one day take over Magma and Aqua to rule all of Hoenn.
He spent most of his Pokemon Adventure stealing Pokemon, namly Skitty and Poocheyena from other Trainers. As a result, before the Leaders screwed up a major scheme and Aqua took a major fall, he had many Skitty's and Poocheyena to spare! Once Aqua fell however, his Father grew irate and his parents split. As Chrome was old enough to go out on his own, his Father left him in the middle of the Desert out cold...when he woke he had no money, no Pokemon and no family in plain sight.
He only managed to get out of Hoenn before the Police got to him for questioning by way of favors owed. Now, he's in a new place trying to rebuild his status or at least gain a new one in order to seek revenge on his Father for the betrayal....

Personality: Naano is an incredibly shy girl, and often tends to keep away from other people. As an only child who lived with her grandfather she’s not very socially experienced and tends to say weird things when she’s nervous and stutter. Naano doesn’t have any friends other than her pokemon, but when she does create a close bond with someone she can be very comfortable with them and acts like her normal self which is very silly, cute, funny, caring, incredibly strange, and is able to show her true feelings. She will always help a person in need (as long as they aren’t doing anything terrible), whether she knows them or not. When Naano makes a promise, she keeps it. No matter what, she’ll do anything to make people happy. Although she is very sweet and sensitive, she also has a (VERY) rough side that she uses towards people who are in the wrong (or a boy she may like). She's a tsundere.
History: Born in Olivine City, Naano was raised by her mother and father until she was 6, because they had died in a car accident. She was then raised by her grandfather whom she was always very close with. After her parent’s accident, Naano distanced herself from other children because she couldn’t bear seeing them with their own parents. She holed herself away in her room for months, just drawing pictures of her parents and herself together again. Her grandfather was eventually able to get her outside, but she would only walk around their property, the woods, and a meadow full of beautiful flowers where Pokémon often spent their time. As time went on, Naano began wandering the streets of town and going on errands. Her grandfather taught her how to do things around the house like cooking, cleaning, maintenance, gardening, and etc… Naano grew keep on helping her grandfather fix things around the house, and this became her main job until she left on her journey.
She got all of her information about pokemon from her grandfather who was a glorified Pokemon trainer in the town. He was her only caretaker and passed away soon after due to old age, leaving Naano with no one to take care of her. Because she was still underage, she was meant to be sent to a foster home. Deciding she would continue her grandfather's legacy, Naano left home (without telling anyone) and started her journey to see Professor Rose (whom her grandfather had told her about before he died), taking her bag filled with things necessary for her trip. She also took money she had saved up since she was little, a journal her grandfather had kept for all his journeys to write in, and her drawing pad to record all the Pokemon she had met on her journey (like her grandfather had done).

Personality: Selph is a woman of many traits. She can be perceived as a bit smug at times because her confidence can be easily interpreted as a form of attitude that she uses when battling other people, although she’d never intentionally set out to hurt someone’s feelings. She can just be a bit unaware that other people could interpret what she said as something completely different. On a positive note though, she’s a very talkative and thoughtful person, always engaging with others in conversation and is quite the woman whenever someone wants to talk about life, she’s more than willing to talk about things. She’s been through a lot herself so she enjoys talking about life with others. Because of all those experiences, she has turned out to be a bit hasty in her decisions, feeling as though all the decisions she makes are always the right ones, regardless of if they are or not, but she learns from her mistakes and tries not to repeat her past errors if it can be avoided. In battles, people consider Selph to be very serious because she doesn’t like to have light conversation while she is fighting. It’s just something she never felt should go hand-in-hand with the other. Overall, Selph is a pretty well-balanced woman who’s realistic about her ideals and isn’t overly kind. She sees life for what it is and can be very skeptical at time when it comes to allowing other people into her life, although she has no problem letting people in if she’s the one who invited them in the first place because she likes to think she’s a pretty good judge of character.
History: Selphie was born in Olivine City of the Johto Region. She had a rather perfect childhood, a mother, father, and a couple annoying siblings that always bother her because she was the oldest. She didn’t mind it though because like all families, at the end of the day, they forgave each other. Selphie always knew that she was going to be a trainer because when she was only five, her mother had her enrolled into a Pokémon Academy that taught her everything she needed to know about Pokémon before the age of ten. Selphie was mediocre when it came to her class since her interest in Pokémon was not something that she thrived off of. The only thing she liked about Pokémon was Jasmine, the leader of the Olivine City Gym. Every day after class, Selphie would go over to her and learn more about Pokémon from Jasmine. Both Selphie and Jasmine shared a deep sister-like bond. It was from this bond that Selphie was convinced that being a trainer could potentially turn out to be the right choice she would make. If she could be like Jasmine, then in the end, being a trainer would be worth it.
Selphie did a lot of things while she was attending the academy, her main one was being hanging out with the steel-type gym leader. If someone asked Jasmine why, she would probably say it was because Selphie reminded her of herself when she was a child.
When Selphie reached the age of ten, she was even given her first Pokémon by Jasmine, her offered her a Magnemite that seemed to have taken a liking to Selphie when she started visiting Jasmine when she was a lot younger.
Selphie travelled all over the Johto region, eventually coming back and defeating Jasmine in a Pokémon battle with her Magnemite, (who managed to evolve into Magneton by this time.) Once that victory was through, Selphie beat a couple more gyms and made her way to the elite four where she placed in the top eight for the Johto region.
After making herself relatively well-known in the Johto region, Selphie travelled to the Kanto region and took them by storm. Having an already powerful team that was worthy of the top eight in Johto, Selphie easily swept through the gyms and elite four, landing herself a position in the top four in Kanto. It was at that time that she started really getting famous. Everywhere she went people would ask for her autograph, considering her a relatively popular woman and then, of course, with all good, came some bad. Selphie was one of the most desired targets of a bad band called Team Rocket. Time and time again they would try and steal her Pokémon, but she managed to beat them away every time. Still, she didn’t like going to sleep, worried that someone might try and break into her room and try to steal her Pokémon, so Selphie made the ultimate decision to leave Kanto and go to a region far away and start from scratch with a clean slate.
There was only one person she trusted with her Pokémon and that was Jasmine.
After leaving her Pokémon with Jasmine, Selphie set off on a new journey to a new region, nine years after she originally began her journey through the Johto region. Her mother and father both stayed back in Olivine City while her brother and sister set out on journeys of their own. Her brother didn’t ever have an affinity for Pokémon, so he became a Safari Zone maintainer, making sure that no one did something illegal back in the safari zone in the Johto region while her sister became a coordinator and her first region she wanted to take on with Hoenn.
And so, with all her family busy running their own lives, Selphie knew that she had to make this journey about herself. She has high hopes for self-discovery and meeting new people. Perhaps on this journey, she hopes, she can find a lover since everyone else in the Johto or Kanto region would only know her by fame, and she doesn’t like the idea of people wanting to be around her because she’s famous. No, Selphie is a lot more realistic than that.
Other: Selphie was given a locket by her mother when she first set out on her journey. Inside of it is a photo of her family that dates back to when Selphie was nine years old. Her deck of playing cards was given to her by her first love whenever she was fifteen in the Kanto region. It was a tragic love story that ended in Selphie realizing that the only reason who was staying with her was because he wanted the fame that she had, and to do that, he decided that it would be best to just pretend to care for her and love her. She found out through a paid investigator because she always had feelings that his love wasn’t real. The playing cards symbolize the fact that he was a dealer at a casino in Celadon City. She met him on the street, although he was a couple years older, she hoped it would work. Sadly though, it didn’t and she didn’t think twice about leaving him. She would never be used, not by anyone, and she holds true to that even to this day.

Notes: Deino is the first Pokémon that Selphie caught once she moved to the Coria Region. He tends to be a bit of a ‘zombie’ in terms of what’s going on most of the time, only going after the obvious target and not too alert about the area surrounding. He’d often dosing off whenever he’s not needed, well that or just staring at a wall as though there’s something fascinating about it. He can be a big help though in battle because of his defensive nature and powerful physical based attacks. The fact that he’s a dragon type Pokémon is definitely something that can’t be overlooked when fighting against this one-headed beast.

Notes: Pidgey is the flier of the group and is always there for aerial support. Pidgey is the second Pokémon that Selphie caught. Pidgey tends to be rather quiet and thoughtful, thinking about battling and wants to evolve one day so that she can become a lot stronger. When she’s not battling though, she’s kind of chatty, chirping all the time and having a good time by simply singing.

Notes: Croagunk is the third Pokémon that Selphie caught and quite frankly, one of the hardest. He’s a natural born fighter and even when he is close to fainting he’s still giving it one-hundred percent. He tends to be a bit of a quiet Pokémon who just stares whenever he’s not fighting. Whenever he’s in battle, he’s still quiet, although he’s very quick to respond to his trainer’s requests.

Personality:
Ryan has a warm heart for Pokemon, and occasionally will smile at a child…but doesn’t like much else. His parents shattered his world when he was young. He realized that there is evil and ignorance in everyone and along with refusing to trust people; he’s not the one to make friends. He wouldn’t be rude to others, just monotonous and silent.
History:
Ryan was kicked out of his house at the age of 9 for reasons he refuses to relinquish. After about a year of barely scraping by, he saved up enough money to travel around the world and see all of the different regions. He climbed the mountains of Sinnoh, hiked the forests of Kanto, ran the plains of Johto, swam the oceans of Hoenn, and wandered the streets of Unova. Never once did he have a bad encounter with a Pokemon, in his four years of travel. Pokemon usually just sort of liked him. Because of this, he's never found a reason to capture a Pokemon.
As he was spending his last week in the scorching sun of Unova's summer, he got mugged. All of his cash was stolen, and his Poketech was down a drain. He coaxed a large trash-like pokemon to get out out for him.

Bit is introverted, mellow and always ready to keep his mouth shut instead of talk to others. Actually he freaks out the most of the two and always panics mentally about something, many think he's slow as he never talks unless its a whisper. Always one to befriend a Pokemon and rarely engages others in any sort of interaction he rarely seems to make friends. He can be highly aggressive if his twin shows any stress. History: The two of them come from a dysfunctional family as their Parents left them with their Grandmother when they were little. Due to that incident the siblings hold great fear of being parted and found solace in Pokemon. Once they started their journey the two found socializing to be better when they were around one another and not under pressure. Bambi is bad with relationships, while Bit is love blind usually resulting in Bit kicking a** when Bambi cries over a broken heart.
Bit is considered a bully and really aggressive when he really isn't, while Bambi really is manipulative of those around her...Really the twins are from a High Class family that rarely allowed them to interact thus giving them their social skills...their family is known for their musicians and both twins are considered prodigy’s due to their immense talent. People recognize their talent more than the twins themselves.

Personality: Raiden is a pretty arrogant and hard-headed kind of guy. He always thinks he’s right, even when he’s completely wrong and stubbornly walks away from any argument that he doesn’t feel like he’s winning. People tend to either love him or hate him because of that, although he’s just really sassy and doesn’t want to be proven wrong or risk having his pride being thrown on the line. He can be a bit manipulative to people he doesn’t trust fully and relies a lot on Lazarus to aid him in moving forward. In fact, if it wasn’t for Lazarus now, Raiden would probably still be back in his home-town living life to the fullest because of his wealthy parents. Even though Raiden is a bit of a stubborn mule, he has a soft spot for Lazarus and would kill himself for the sake of letting Lazarus survive, although he’d never openly admit that to anybody. He wants people to think he’s tough and so he keeps up a persona as such. If one were able to break down those walls, then they’d realize his only problem was really just that he was stubborn and quick to jump to conclusions.
Raiden can be very kind and friendly if he knows somebody well enough. He doesn’t want to make people upset or sad so he goes out of his way to cheer people up by talking about all the good things they got going for them. Sometimes it works while other times it doesn’t; most of the time it does though because it’s rare to hear Raiden say something nice about someone besides himself.
He’s a very loving companion and is a people pleaser once you get to know him but that can conflict with his pride and how he feels like it plays an important part in his life as well. If he ever does fall in love, he turns into a dominant and over-bearing partner who always wants to be around his boyfriend. Most relationships he has had don’t work because of this protective nature of his, but he feels no remorse for the loves that he lost because he always felt like he was doing the right thing, hints: he is rather stubborn.
Ultimately, Raiden is stubborn and cold if someone doesn’t know him, but once you get to know him, you learn there’s more than what meets the eye. Often times, Lazarus tries explaining this to people but they just don’t believe. Raiden can either be someone’s best friend or worst enemy, it all just depends on how much effort someone puts into getting to know him. Truthfully though, Raiden never holds grudges against people, so if he and someone were to get into a fight, he would forgive them for anything that happened by the next day. Even though he’s gay, he’s still a manly person with that tough exterior and interior that makes him just a hard-headed person inside and out. Some people see this, and then some people don’t, it all just depends on how much time someone invests into getting to know him. & Lazarus is a very kind-hearted person who always doing damage-control and trying to make situations the best of what they could possibly be. He hates to see people upset and would go out of his way to just help anyone. It’s the way he was raised though. Whenever he feels doubt, he just remembers what his mother would say and suddenly he feels calm-headed again, which really helps out for him in a battle as well. His whole life had been dedicated to being kind and keeping his best friend Raiden in line, so naturally it became a part of who he was to be somewhat of a moderating individual. If he’s not in a conversation, he’s eavesdropping to make sure that the people in it don’t say something that could escalate into a fight. He knows it’s a bit wrong, so he makes sure not to say anything about the conversation as long as he’s not involved in some way.
In terms of getting in a fight, Lazarus avoids them if at all possible. Fighting isn’t good for anyone unless Pokémon are doing it for fun. Even then though, Pokémon should only do it if both of the trainers agree. Lazarus doesn’t believe in forcing someone to do something even if they don’t want to. With Lazarus being peaceful, it doesn’t mean he wouldn’t protect his close friends and family. Lazarus would probably do all kinds of terrible things to keep his family safe. It’s true that he doesn’t believe in violence, but if pushed to the edge, he will fight back. Although, he has never had to do that yet and quite frankly, he doesn’t plan to.
Lazarus can be a bit of an air-head outside of battle because he has a hard time understanding people who don’t speak up about their feelings. He’s never been one for love though because of all the times he has travelled, he never really found love. That doesn’t really mean that Lazarus has given up on it though, he just doesn’t see the point of being with someone while he’s travelling all the time. Truth be told, the only person he’d ever consider dating would be someone who was actually travelling with him, but the only person to do that is Raiden, and Lazarus didn’t really feel like he was his type. Lazarus’s type is the submissive sort of person, and Raiden is anything but.
In a battle, Lazarus has a multitude of ideas that burst into his head and he uses different ones until he wins a battle. In a split second he can switch from defense to offense. This is one of the reasons he placed second in the championship for the Sinnoh region. Thanks to his quick thinking and switching of battle tactics in mid-battle. A lot of people couldn’t really keep up, although Cynthia was able to and then some. If someone wanted to beat him they would have to be able to out-think him in terms of a battle, but in the end, every battle he concludes, whether it be with a win or loss, is ended with a smile.
History: Raiden was born in Sootopolis City of the Hoenn Region. His mother was a well-known lawyer and his father was a doctor. The two as a pair naturally brought in most of the income for the city. It was mainly because of this that Raiden got whatever he wanted growing up. If he wanted a toy he got it, if he wanted a new Pokémon he got it. Often times his parents would be willing to buy him Pokémon that were small enough to be kept in the house, but like any little kid, he got bored with the Pokémon and had them thrown or way, or in a simpler term: released. Raiden didn’t really see it as a bad thing because that’s how he was raised. His mother and father asked him when he was young, only about four years old, what he wanted to do when he grew up and his response was to become a Pokémon Trainer.
It was at that moment that he was required to start attending the most prestigious Pokémon Academy that was located all the way in Rustboro City. His parents paid for the most expensive classes with the most critically acclaimed teachers that money could buy. Yes, his life would be perfect and he would have everything he ever wanted.
Growing up in the Academy was a big adjustment for him though. He was so used to having whatever he wanted, so when he would ask for someone’s Pokémon and get told no, he’d throw a temper-tantrum causing most of everyone to dislike him. There was only one person who actually was kind enough to tolerate him and that was Lazarus. The two grew up together, becoming best friends in the Academy and then eventually travelling the Hoenn region together. Some tragedies happened though while travelling together however. While at a Pokémon Center in Fallarbor Town, Raiden found out that his mother had passed away in a terrible car accident. This left Raiden dispirited and unwilling to go on and it was during this time that Raiden took up the habit of smoking to calm his nerves.
However, after spending some time with Lazarus, Raiden was able to get back on his feet and kept going. He fell in love with Lazarus on the journey, and that’s when he really realized his own orientation, which was after Lazarus comforted him and reassured him there was still hope. He was only eleven when he developed a crush on Lazarus, who was gay himself, but didn’t seem to be interested at all in Raiden. Eventually though, Raiden came to terms with the fact that Lazarus didn’t like him like that, and found himself over the crush and back to where he began, a clean slate.
It took Raiden only a year to complete the Hoenn League, however, in the finals he placed in the top sixteen while Lazarus placed in the top eight. This made Raiden rather jealous, but he never said anything about it. After the Hoenn League though, they moved to Sinnoh, where Raiden ended up fighting Lazarus while in the top eight together. Raiden lost, but Lazarus moved on to the final four and won once more before fighting the Champion of the Sinnoh league, Cynthia, and losing to her powerful combinations. The two travelled the Sinnoh region a little bit after that, getting to know the people and the cultures. It was a lot easier to be accepted into a home when Raiden travelled with someone like Lazarus, who managed to place in the top two of the region.
At the age of nineteen, Raiden retired from Pokémon while Lazarus went to the Johto region. Now back in Sootopolis City, Raiden realized that there was no excitement like there was when he was travelling. Nothing happened and all that could be looked forward to was the day that Lazarus returned. It took five whole years before Lazarus returned to Sootopolis, and that was to only check in with his family and stay for a month. When he came back though, Raiden decided to start journeying again with him, and this time, they would go to the Coria region- just like old times.
Even though Raiden is grown now, he still hopes to make it far in the region and usurp Lazarus for the first time. & Lazarus was born in Rustboro City and spent the childhood years there. His mother was a very moral woman while his father died before he was even born. Being raised only by his mother, he learned a lot from her which was mainly ‘treat others as you would want to be treated.’ She was a kind woman who ran a bakery on the edge of town. Although her food wasn’t the best, she made plenty of money, enough to send Lazarus to the Pokémon Academy. It was there that he met Raiden. Unlike Raiden, who was able to afford the most well-known teacher, Lazarus couldn’t. The only way he was able to get into his class was because the teacher asked for him, for the teacher knew Lazarus’ mother very well. It was in this class that Lazarus learned about Pokémon and all they could do. He’d never been into Pokémon before going to the school, but while he was there, he learned so many things.
When he saw how Raiden threw fits about Pokémon, he knew instantly that Raiden was one of those people like his mother has said ‘that just needed a friend to help them get back on the right path’ and so, Lazarus grew patience of steel as he befriended Raiden and the two set out on a journey together. Lazarus always excelled when in the gyms, easily taking out the gym leaders like they were cake-walk. Even through the ease at which he breezed through gyms, he never grew arrogant because of his mother’s motto. At the town of Fallarbor, Lazarus found out that Raiden’s mother died. That really hit home because he honestly didn’t know what he would do if his mother actually died.
It took them a couple weeks before Lazarus vowed to make Raiden happy and never leave his side. It didn’t take long before they were back on the road and Raiden confessed his feelings for Lazarus, who didn’t have much interest in Raiden, so decided to break it down that he didn’t want to date him. After all, they were only eleven with plenty of time to worry about dating later.
In the first Pokémon League that they attended, Lazarus did much better than Raiden by placing in the Top Eight for his Competition Bracket. Many people called Lazarus a prodigy, but still the fame never went into his head. The Sinnoh League was the same as well. Once Lazarus was in the top two and challenged Cynthia, he still didn’t think that he was a hot shot, which Cynthia respected very much.
When Lazarus parted ways with Raiden, he travelled through the Johto region and defeated all the gyms, making sure to call his mother, who had moved to Sootopolis City for the sake of being there for Raiden’s father after hearing the news of his wife’s untimely death. It was true that his mother was kind in every sense of the word, willing to pack up and move for the sake of her child’s friend’s father.
In the Johto Region, Lazarus was able to make it to the top two again before being beaten by Lance, who had recognized Lazarus from the Sinnoh region. Just before Lazarus left to return to Sootopolis City, he was given a pair of snow goggles by Lance who said they belonged to him growing up. Some might speculate that Lazarus had a huge crush on Lance, but he would never hone up to it because he didn’t want to date someone he wasn’t stronger than because of his pride as a dominant in a relationship.
Upon returning to Sootopolis City, Lazarus met up with his mother before meeting up with Raiden, who had seemed to miss Lazarus more than Lazarus had missed him. After much planning, Lazarus ultimately decided to go on another journey, this time, through the Coria Region, in the hopes that he can become a champion, although he never intended to be a champion if he was offered the position. He never did like those titles and just wanted to simply travel, knowing that he had beaten the most powerful trainer in all of a region.
With Raiden back at his side, Lazarus really doesn’t know what to expect from the next region he is going to visit!
Other: Raiden has had several relationships that happened on a whim and ended up becoming long distance relationships since he travelled a lot. The only relationship that was long term was the one that had occurred whenever he came back to Sootopolis City. Another man there was also gay and the two seemed to go together like peanut butter and jelly. Over time, things got serious and Raiden ended up vowing himself to this man for eternity. A year passed in their relationship before Raiden realized that he was being played as a fool. From the grapevine, Raiden had realized that his boyfriend was cheating on him and betraying his trust. Their blowout was messy but Raiden never laid a hand on him, even when he wanted to.
To be honest, to this day Raiden still loves the man that never fully loved him back, but he blames himself for the way things got. If only he had been a better lover, then maybe things wouldn’t have gotten like this. It’s because of that Raiden is a people pleaser. He doesn’t want people to feel like they need to get away from him if they want to get pleased or something along those lines. Raiden also has a vast knowledge of many things Pokémon because of how much he has traveled and knows many types and moves that they learn so nothing really surprises him anymore. & Lazarus has never been in a relationship, although he has had many crushes. He forces himself not to get involved in those things until he feels like he’s completely ready to be honest. A lot of his determination not to get involved comes from the fact that he doesn’t want to hurt anybody, and he knows that travelling all the time would only strain anything he hoped to achieve. The only true person that he wanted to actually date ever would’ve been Lance the champion of the Johto region, but a lot of suspicions have led Lazarus to believe that Lance was straight, but he was still a kind and noble heart that treated everyone with respect yet he still conveyed a powerful demeanor that made others respect him all the same. Ultimately, Lazarus doesn’t expect to find love because it had never come to him before. If he does though, then it’s a destiny that he’ll be sure to embrace, but until he finds someone who would be willing to do all the lovey-dovey stuff that he wants, he’s going to sit back quietly and mind his P’s and Q’s. After all, there’s nothing worth all the trouble of trying to find love when it wouldn’t work in the end.

Species: Cyndaquil

Notes: Clyde, the nick-name given to Raiden’s Cyndaquil, is a very simple-minded Pokémon. Although Cyndaquils tend to be a bit timid in nature, Clyde is very sociable and loves to be groomed by others. Some of that is based partly on its young age. Since it is still such a young Pokémon, it doesn’t understand how vulnerable it can be if ending up in the wrong hands. Its best friend is Lazarus’s Timburr though since the two were caught at practically the same time. Clyde is a very calm-minded Pokémon who loves to play around and just have fun. It doesn’t battle to win, it battles to simply have fun, and Raiden is fine with this.
Cyndaquil is a potent Pokémon when it comes to special attacks. It likes to use long range fire-based moves such as ember to strike down his enemies and will more than likely take up relentless assault as a strategy for winning his battles since that seems to be the style he’s most comfortable with. Outside of battle though Clyde acts the opposite of how he is in battle, easy-going and just fun to be around. It’s because of that, that he makes a great starter Pokémon for someone like Raiden who’s very overbearing, mainly because Clyde simply doesn’t care what Raiden does to dictate how things work out.

Notes: Toby is the first Pokémon that Lazarus caught while in the Coria Region and shockingly enough, it acts pretty much just like Raiden. Toby is hard-headed and stubborn. It has a certain way of fighting battles and doesn’t like to battle in a way that a trainer wants it to fight. As a result, Lazarus has been forced to change the way he uses Toby in a battle, but then again, it’s up to a trainer to work with a Pokémon and help it become stronger, and it wouldn’t be really fair to force Toby to do something it’s not comfortable with. Toby’s strategy in a fight is to strike with its block of wood and use it as a defensive mechanism as well, blocking weak attacks that can’t penetrate the wood. Toby also is quite excellent at using his large piece of lumber as a boomerang to strike down Pokémon flying in the sky before causing them to fall to the ground. Although Lazarus would do the smart thing and avoid a fight that involves a fighting type versus a flying in the first place.
Out of battle, Toby is rather stubborn but enjoys his friend Cyndaquil who seems to be willing to do anything Toby wants to, just like Lazarus is willing to do whatever Raiden wants for the sake of avoiding conflict. The two act similar to their trainers allies but in the end they’re their own person.

Species: Pansage
Gender: Male

Notes: The second Pokémon that Raiden caught was a Pansage. Pansage is pretty much part of the speed squad. It can easily jump from tree to tree, avoiding attacks while doing so. As Raiden fought Pansage, he knew that with proper guidance, Pansage would become a force to be reckoned with in a battle. Outside of battle, Pansage is impish and often likes to pull pranks on the other Pokémon out of good nature. It never means anything bad whenever it does this, it just likes to have a good time. Pansage likes to use attacks that don’t involve getting close to the enemy, such as bullet seed, but if told by his trainer, than it will do so, although it probably wouldn’t be too willingly. Pansage can also be the life of a party when everything is drab or depressing since it doesn’t like to spend its time in places filled with saddened people. It would much rather train and get stronger than just sit around doing nothing all day. If given the choice of its dream day though, it would probably like to spend it pulling pranks on other Pokémon because it never really did grow up. Pansage is still just an evil child at heart.

Notes: Munchlax is a rather lazy Pokémon who doesn’t like to do anything that involves a battle unless it has a reward of eating at the end of it. Despite its high price just to be willing to battle, Munchlax is a really useful Pokémon on the battlefield. With great endurance, Munchlax is truly capable of the ‘slow and steady’ approach to any battle. With moves that build up over time such as stockpile and defense curl, it’s hard to land a clean hit without suffering from consequences. Munchlax is also good at fighting physically against Pokémon that are extremely fast with moves like body slam or rollout that causes damage over time. Outside of battle, Munchlax acts like he does in battle, lazy and unwilling but puts in the effort if food is involved. Most of the time, Munchlax is really laid back and prides herself in sunbathing even though it’s impossible to get a tan with all that fur. She likes to sleep whenever nothing’s going on and tends to wake up at the most awkward times in search of food. Then again, she can be a big help when they’re struck with a mystery because she’s a very perceptive Pokémon that can spot a needle in an haystack if she put forth the effort.

Personality: Hansuke is many things, although the things that really stick out about him are his love for technology and advancements in it as well as his love for Pokémon battle. Growing up, his parents always knew that he was going to become an excellent prodigy in terms of working with computers because he always knew how to do things that his parents never even heard of before. His true passion was working with both Pokémon and technology. Although he doesn’t seem like, Hansuke is the type of person that could spend all day inside of a laboratory simply researching different processors and get a kick out of trivial conclusions. He’s always going over failed experiments hoping that one day he can pull out a perfect answer to something, although he knows that his dreams of being a scientist are null because he could never take his mind off of different possibilities.
He has the physique of a model because he works out much more than normal because it helps him clear his mind, not because he is trying to impress anyone. When he works out, his mind becomes tranquil and he can learn things that much more quickly as a result. Outside of his interests, his personality is a bit different. He’s very shy around people he doesn’t know and tends to be a follower. He doesn’t have opinions of his own unless they involve something he knows a lot about, such as technology. Of course, even then, because of his low self-esteem, he doesn’t really debate anything too much, even when he knows he’s right because he doesn’t like to make other people upset or aggressive. Because of how awkward he is in public, he has lacked growing up in terms of social interaction, so he’s a bit of a childish individual when he gets comfortable around someone. If he’s not comfortable, he studies and scrutinizes, making him one of the most observant people out there.
Since his hobbies are expensive, he’s a bit of a penny pincher when it doesn’t involve technology because he doesn’t see the point in wasting so much money. Although, he does enjoy his friends beyond anything else in his life, (aside from Pokémon.) If it came down to it, he would probably choose the allies he’s come to know and love over any technology that the world could promise him; that is, if what the world didn’t have consequences. Hansuke is a coward no doubt about it. He’s scared of many things that involve humans because he knows what they’re capable of and willing to do for pleasure and money. Hansuke isn’t cold-hearted by any means, but with all the things he has went through in his life, it would seem like he has every right to be. But he believes that being a cold-hearted individual is something that is for the weak of mind. If anything can be weathered, then it’s worth moving past. That’s what Hansuke has come to believe over the years that he has been alive. & Izo is a very athletic person who loves to spend his free time working out, although he doesn’t like to talk about his personal life and how he gets fit. True, he does like working out, but he doesn’t find it something of a conversation starter. He tries to keep it short whenever he talks about himself, although anything that has to do with himself tends to be considered a short topic. If anything, he likes to keep his past secret, which makes it hard to get close to him as a person. He believes that anyone who gets too close to him and learns more about his past has an opening to take him down through controlling his emotions. Even though he’s quiet when it comes to talking about himself, Izo has no problem speaking aloud and talking with people he has never met, although one of the problems he possesses is that some people might take it as an interrogation because of how nit-picky he is, but being in Team Rocket passed on some traits to him that are a bit harder for him to get rid of.
Even though he seems like the stereotypical awesome cold guy, he is a bit of a dork in his own way. He’s clumsy, often tripping on the most simple of things. That’s only because he never really pays attention to where he’s going, often relying on others to guide him because he likes to let himself get lost in thought. Truthfully, he doesn’t want to be alone most of the time, although he would never openly admit it. Since he quit Team Rocket, he can’t stand anyone from an evil organization because he feels like they’re up to no good all the time and that they have no heart, although the only thing he has to go on is his own experiences with organizations. Most of the organizations he was a part of have become rather cruel and he never did agree with what they did, but he was always more of a rebel growing up and still is. As a result of being a rebel, he tends to do things simply because people tell him not to. He doesn’t care whether or not people get angry, although he doesn’t do anything to ‘hit below the belt’ when it comes to making people mad. He doesn’t believe in doing stuff to others if he doesn’t want it done to himself. He can be a pretty annoying person though if you get too close to him because believe it or not, he’s a chatterbox with a lot of opinions on his mind. If someone takes the time to listen, he’ll end up clinging to them for some time without even realizing it until it’s addressed. Over-all, he’s a pretty protective person to the people he cares about but he secretly likes being protected himself. It’s just not something he always envisioned for himself considering the rough life he had growing up.
History: Twenty-three years ago, Hansuke was born to a divorced couple. Hansuke was raised by his mother on Cinnabar Island, and as such, his skin was always tanned because of the sun. While there, he spent most of his time in school and just focusing on becoming a scientist like he’s always wanted to do. Not one of those chemical scientists, but a technological scientist. His time spent at the school paid off though because by the time he was eighteen, he was off to a Pewter City where he and several other scientist created the first functioning Pokémon that was man-made: Porygon. As everyone knows, Porygon was rumored to be created by scientists that worked for Team Rocket, and this was true, however, Hansuke was forced to work for Team Rocket due to the fact that he had been a well-known technological producer.
After making Porygon, Hansuke met up with another member of team rocket who was Izo. After a weird twist of fate that Izo never explained to Hansuke, Izo helped him escape from the clutches of Team Rocket by forcing Hansuke to move to a completely different region out of the grip of Team Rocket. For a long time, about three years, Hansuke lived in Snowpoint City, a cold area at the tip of Sinnoh with Izo. Some people in the town called them a gay couple, but in reality, Hansuke had no interest in Izo and vice versa. While in Snowpoint, Hansuke got a job as a scientist and was able to support both himself and Izo for a long time since Izo didn’t really have any school under his belt and so he didn’t know what he could do. This whole arrangement ended up working very well because for the next three years, until Hansuke was twenty-one, that was how things worked. When Hansuke did turn twenty-one though, Izo decided to just pack up and leave for no apparent reason, forcing Hansuke to live alone. The solitary living arrangement wasn’t too hard on Hansuke. He simply went to work, came home, and then got ready for bed before repeating the same process time and time again. Because of how shy he was though, it was hard for him to make friends, nor did he really want any either. He was practically the only tanned person in Snowpoint City as well and that sort of made him an outcast in many ways. Due to living on Cinnabar Island for so long, his tan became permanent, although he was pretty happy with that.
Two long years passed before Izo came back with the confession that he didn’t like being without Hansuke, and it wasn’t something like a crush that drove Izo back, no, it was the urge to take Hansuke on a journey around the world, catching Pokémon and being the best he could be as a Pokémon trainer. Hansuke had always wanted to be a Pokémon Trainer, but was extremely inexperienced when it came to battling Pokémon and things of the sort, so he had always put his passion on the backburner and focused on his second top favorite thing to do and that was get involved with technology.
Unfortunately, his parents, now in their late fifties, didn’t want to listen to Hansuke’s naïve goals in life so they cut him out of their life completely. They believed that it would either be their way or the highway, but with the strength of his friend, Hansuke was able to get over this low blow in his life and make himself a Pokémon trainer, although he didn’t really know which region they should start in. Naturally, they were wanted by Team Rocket because Hansuke knew things about their science and Izo was a former member, so Johto and Kanto were immediately eliminated from the options. With no place to really go because Sinnoh was getting old, they decided to move to the Coria Region in the hopes that Hansuke would become a powerful trainer and do things beyond his own belief. He knew a lot about Porygon thanks to how he developed it, but other than that, he was completely new. Only time will tell if he’s actually able to pull off becoming the trainer he’d always hoped to become. & Izo grew up in a small town known as Pallet Town. There weren’t many things to do there so Izo found amusement in going to the Professor’s ranch and playing with the Pokémon there while he was a child. Most of everyone in the town trusted each other, so he didn’t have a problem getting inside to play with little Pokémon, although the smallest of towns still have their hidden secrets. Izo’s father was a member of a terrible organization known as Team Rocket. Izo didn’t learn about this until he was ten years old when his world was flipped upside down. In the middle of the night on his tenth birthday, he was abducted by one of the Team Rocket recruiters at the ‘O.K.’ of his father. His mother didn’t know anything about this and thought that her child had just been kidnapped and that it had nothing to do with his father. Whenever he was in the Team Rocket headquarters, Izo found out that he wasn’t the only one that was kidnapped and held against his will. Several other children, both boys and girls, had been taken from their home. Since he didn’t have a choice in whether or not he would work for Team Rocket, Izo decided to at least be a grunt so that he could travel the world just like a normal trainer. He was partnered with a girl that seemed to cry about everything.
Eventually though, the two set out and stole many Pokémon before ultimately being promoted to guarding the headquarters. At the age of fifteen, Izo noticed that his partner, the girl who cried about her fate when she was ten, was now a very cut-throat who liked to kill with her Pokémon. It was around this time that Izo realized he was never meant to be in Team Rocket, and that it wasn’t fair the fate he’d been played, but if he was going to escape, he was going to do it with someone that could be trusted. Three years later, he met Hansuke, the two hit it off really well and Izo realized that Hansuke would be the man that he escaped with. After briefly hacking into Team Rocket data and deleting himself and Hansuke from the records, he fled from the organization with Hanuske.
The two went to Snowpoint City in the hopes of spending their time together. Three-years later though, Izo heard that Team Rocket was back onto his trail, so he simply told Hansuke that he was going on a journey again, but in reality, he was leaving to protect the whereabouts of the two. The journey was long and complicated because Izo had to confront his old colleague who was now twenty-one. She was one of the most feared in the organization, but like all intelligent Team Rocket fugitives, Izo made sure that he still had a few Pokémon to fight back against her. The battle was long, but eventually, Izo won against her Pokémon, forcing her to retreat and make promises to never return. The idea of having more and more Team Rocket members come after him was a bit depressing, so he made the idea of going to the Coria Region with Hansuke, who he secretly knew wanted to be a Pokémon trainer. After much negotiating and persuading, Izo managed to convince Hansuke to come with him on another journey to the Coria Region.
If they hadn’t done that, Hansuke and Izo might’ve both been dead because of Team Rocket’s ride or die kind of motto. Although it’s not something that Izo was too terrified of because he knew that if he kept on moving, he would be able to keep himself and Hansuke safe. The biggest risk of starting a new journey though is making sure that he has Pokémon to keep him safe, and since one of the terms of going on a new journey was to start with a clean slate, Izo knew that he would have to get rid of all his Pokémon from his days in Team Rocket and make himself a new team. Only time will tell if this investment into being a clean-slate trainer will be worth it in the end.
Other: With nothing better to do while living in Snowpoint City, Hansuke learned how to play the violin, although the practicality of using it while on a journey seems to be pretty vacant. He doesn’t like to talk about how he’s capable of using instruments or things of the sort because the number one thing he hates doing is being a show off. If someone catches him playing an instrument while he’s trying to practice, then that’s a different story. That’s as far as that goes. In terms of relationships, Hansuke is a bit new since he had never been in a relationship practically ever. He still has his V-Card and intends to keep it for some time. Although he has had plenty of opportunity to lose it, but he always chickens out before he gets done to it because he’s afraid of doing something wrong and since he has naturally low self-esteem, it doesn’t take him long to psyche himself out. He’s also never had that friend who just told him to go for it, and as a result, he has never actually made the effort to go to a bar or something. He dedicated his life to his research and as a result, ended up being a bit socially awkward because of it. & Izo knows a lot about Pokémon and anything that has to do with evil organizations and how they works thanks to the fact that he was in one for over eight years. He often times has reoccurring nightmares about fighting his partner who turned truly cold-hearted. Although it’s not something he likes to talk about because it could easily be interpreted as a sign of weakness, or something of the sort. The only thing he likes for people to know about him is his name and the basics, anything else would be a token of his trust in somebody. Of all the people he knows, he trusts Hansuke the most.
Since the whole kidnapping, he hasn’t made an effort to keep in touch with his mom because he doesn’t want her to know all the troubles he’s been through, and from all of this experience, he hates his father beyond belief for doing this to their quiet and humble family. The only reason he hates him as well was because having your child kidnapped was optional, yet his father chose to go through with it anyways and force Izo into a life of crime and all sorts of other cruel things. Although one day Izo hopes to truly become a normal person.

Notes: Po-Pop is the first Pokemon that Hansuke caught and it a really wonderful tank for the team, capable of taking massive amounts of damage before ultimately fainting, although it's capable of fighting back as well.

Notes: Nakoda is a long-range fight who relies on striking the enemy over and over with an onslaught of psychic based and flying based attack. It takes advantage of its small stature to dodge many attack as well and uses useful techniques for getting out of jams.

Notes: Zoro is a fast and powerful hitter, but it tends to like the defenses that other Pokemon has but has plenty to compensate with its powerful hitting moves and tactical retreats.

Notes: Cynthia is a very elegant Pokemon who likes to act like she's some sort of royalty, although don't let that fool you. In battle, she relies on relentless assault to know out an enemy's defenses before she goes in for the kill.
