While working for Builders League United, Dell, and the rest of his team, recovered remnants of a Gummi Ship wreckage during one of many encounters with the mercenaries of Reliable Excavation Demolition. The contraption built from the remnants of that ship, a teleporter, and a large amount of Australium sent him on a one way ticket to Kingdom Key Academy.
