Ara heads off to her first day of school at the prestigious Silvermont Prep.
The school is good sized with many buildings, including dorms. It has a main building for classes that has two floors and an observation tower. A two floor building to house the athletic equipment, also has a pool. Also has a chapel where religious services, assemblies, and performing arts classes take place. The grounds are extensive with lots of area for students to relax as well as an outdoor athletic field and track. At the back of the school there is a stable with an indoor as well as an outdoor equestrian arena.

Ara bounced happily down the stairs, admiring the way her bookbag bumped against her hip, as she followed the boy outside. "Hello, my name is Ara." She chattered happily. "Are you Paul? The one dad was talking to on the phone? How is the school? Do you like it there? how big is it? Will it be hard to find where I need to check in?" She continued peppering him with questions as they left the building.

He was looking off into the distance, spruced up like he was going to a night club. Tapping his foot impatiently he grumbled his good mornings to her quietly and appropriately answering every single one of her questions as monosyllabic-ally as possible while trying to remain polite and not show his foul mood to this chipper ..."girl". He sighed cursing the way he was brought up, "Here.." He said smoothly as he took her book bag and carried it for her until they reached the car, which made him smirk. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out the keys that had typical auto-start/lock/alarm buttons and he pushed one of them, the car roared to life in response purring its welcome. He opened the passenger door for her and waited.

She was momentarily stunned to silence at his polite bearing. Being used to the more rough manners of El and Gabe she was pleasantly surprised by his willingness to be polite even though she could sense his unhappiness at being there. Shaking off her pause she smiled cheerily as she thanked him and slid into the car. She took her bag back from him and scooted away from the door so he could close it without having to worry about catching her in it. She waited for him to get in as well before she started up her chatter again. "I really would like to thank you for coming to get me. I hope it wasn't too far out of your way. If it really is a problem I could see if I can find some other way to get to school. I mean, I wouldn't want to inconvenience you just for a ride. I could take a bus or even walk if I started early enough." She glanced at his stereo. "What kind of music do you listen to? You can turn it on idf you want. I don't mind."

He let out a sigh of relief at her suggestion and smiled as pleasantly as he could. "dont worry so much." Was his answer before he flipped on his stereo. The music was an interesting mix of strings and heavy bass, like a love child of dubstep and classical. Paul relaxed into his seat, revved the car and blazed in the direction of their school, taking the scenic route with plenty of curves and sharp turns. In total control he owned the road with his sporty black beast of a car, "I think you will like it there."

"You really think so?" she bubbled. "I really hope that I can find make some friends. I really don't want to end alone all day. It would be horrid to have to eat alone at lunch and I really hope I don't do something clumsy like fall down the stairs or something." She stopped to take a breath. "I really like this music. You have superb taste sir." she joked in a formal tone before breaking into a quick giggle. "So Paul, how do you know dad, I mean d**k?" She relaxed back into her seat. "I like riding with you. You're a really good driver. Where did you learn? You couldn't have been driving for very long. You don't seem much older than I am."

"Long story. Were here." At that point the car was parked in the lot close to the school. Paul got out and walked around the car to open the door for her and take her bag from her, slinging it over his shoulder and helping her out of the car so he could lock it. "Cmon Belle..." He smiled at her and headed off to the front doors.

Ara thanked him for getting her door and bag as he helped her out of the car. Nervous but excited she trotted along after him as he headed toward the building. She set a hand on the back of his arm so she didn't loose him as she gawked. Her head turned back and forth as she tried to take in the entire school grounds.She fervently hoped that she would be able to make some friends. She really wanted school to be fun.
"No one has ever called me Belle before." she commented offhandedly. "Oh! Was that a horse neighing? Do students get to board their own horses here too?" She continued on asking questions faster than he could answer until a group of students going by caught her attention. She smiled brightly at them as they went by before turning back to where Paul was leading her.

As they neared the swarm of students coming and going he took her hand in his without even pausing or looking. Making sure he didnt lose her in the crowd, especially with the commotion and stares starting from the sides. Paul was able to remain cool and smile his devilish smile at those who regularly received it. "Whos that girl?" Some would ask their friends and "whoa, dude check out her wings!" from another.
Pulling her through the huge double door-ed entrance he continued holding her hand, taking her in the direction of the registration office. Once inside the plump lady at the desk turned to face them, peering at them from behind her 50s themed pointed glasses (complete with gems). Leaning on her desk paul flashed her a dashing smile saying few words but enough that the woman flushed and batted her lashes at him giggling. She handed him a stack of paperwork and a key on a lanyard winking at him. After he said his thank yous he dragged ara back out into the hallway. "Allright.....since im going to be your escort for the rest of the day....what would you like to see first? Oh...and dont worry about any homework right away....Ill take care of that.." He said cooly.

Ara blinked in surprise as she felt her hand engulfed in his. His hand was so warm and friendly. She liked holding Paul's hand, she decided.
She continued to look around the inside of the building as he pulled her through the halls. He had to all but pull her into the room to take care of her registration. While he dealt with the lady at the desk, she hung over his shoulder.
She was quite happy when he drug her back out into the hall where she was able to continue taking in her surroundings. She bounced excitedly when he asked what she would like to see. "Ohhh, everything!" was her perky reply. "And what's this about not worrying about homework mister? I'd love to do homework! It's so dreamy and romantic going to school and wearing a uniform and having to worry about homework." she sighed girlishly while she imagined herself a heroine in some school drama book.

He blinked for a moment, surprised by her sincere comment about homework, smiling at how innocent she is. "Well if thats the case you can do it, but if you need any help ive got the answers for you." He winked at her and dragged her about the grounds, stopping at EVERYTHING she wanted to see, having an answer for every question and a little bit of history behind each one. He decided that he might like to spend some more time with this girl. Shes different than the others hes met. Maybe even special...At that point he stopped them in the private gardens, now taking a moment to actually take her in as more than a "girl", eyeing her wings and what not.

Ara bounced happily along beside him for the entire tour badgering students with questions about their particular subject whenever they stopped. she however didn't notice the jealous pair of blue eyes that followed them as they moved around. Nor did she notice how they narrowed every time she touched Paul.
When they stopped in the gardens she spun a slow circle making sure she had her bearings in the complex. She silently named the buildings to herself as she recognized each.
"Alright. I think I can find myself if I'm outside at least." She giggled at herself. "I'll probably only get lost half a dozen times before I get it. So," she said walking up to him. "What does my class schedule look like? When is my first class and what is it?"
She was so focused on finding out her classes she didn't eve notice when they became not the only people in the garden until there was a girls voice just behind her.
"Hey Paul. Is this her?"
Ara jumped then turned to see a very pretty girl with long white blonde hair and hazel eyes. Before she could say anything the girl jumped in again.
"Are you Ara? You are aren't you. Nice to meet you! I'm Cora!"
"Just attack her why don't you." Said a boy as he walked up behind the girl called Cora and put a hand on her shoulder. He looked an awful lot like Cora except his hair was shorter and a little more blonde than white. But they had the same hazel eyes. "I'm Angel." He offered. "Don't mind my sister. She's just excitable."
Cora wrinkled her nose at her brother before turning a brilliant smile back to Ara.

Paul gave a wink and brushed a hand through his hair "Hey guys, yeah this is her....shes allright in my book." Slinging his arm over her shoulder he smiled at her ,"Yeah these are some of my friends. Dont let them eat you, they can be scary sometimes...Especially Cora." He whispered the last bit about the girl, giggling afterwards. "So what up guys? you got some cool stuff to add to her tour?"

"Actually," Cora began a little indignantly, "I was just coming to rescue her from you. I know how you have the whole school wrapped around your little finger buuuut some of us more normal kids actually need to go to class. Knowing you, you'd keep her to yourself all day. Now. Hand over her schedule." She held out a hand expectantly. "I bet she hasn't even seen her locker yet. Have you?" she questioned Ara quickly. When Ara shook her head she smirked. "Now then. Hand it over."
Angel shook his head as he watched his sisters antics.
"And they thought I was bad." He quipped, more to himself than anyone. He ran a hand through his hair and shrugged helplessly at Paul.He smiled at Ara.
"Don't let her overwhelm you. She sometimes forgets that other people aren't just there for her to boss around." He dodged a kick aimed at his shin that came from his sisters direction.
Ara smiled at him. "I think we'll get along just fine. Hey Paul? Mind if I go with her for a bit? Thanks for showing me around. I'm sure you have better things to do than just show me around, right? I mean, it sounded like you weren't really all that into picking me up to begin with." She gave him an understanding smile to soften her words.

Paul, having been bested gave a small bow. "Shes all yours.....today. Ill be back for you Ara, after all i am your ride home." He winked and headed off towords the main building with a wave. Halfway over the little bridge he was stopped by a short dark haired wisp of a girl, her school uniform obviously modified to fit her punky taste. She was waiting, holding her skateboard upright as if shed been there an hour or something. He gave her an unamused look ,"Sup Ember? or should i call you grunge with you fashion statement?" He mused. She rolled her darkly cosmetic-ed bright blue eyes,"She here?" He started walking again and thumbed behind him. "Shes with them." Ember was already gone, the sound of her wheels sounding like a mini train over the planks of the bridge he thanks yelled back to him. Being careful not to run over anyone she rolled to a stop, tipping up her board standing there silently, waiting for Cora to introduce her.
