⋆ History :: When she was born, Tori had always taken an interest in the Games, even though she stayed quiet about it. When her parents enrolled Tori, Acacia and their younger brother into a training academy because of Acacia's fear of the Games, Tori was overjoyed! She could think of all the possibilities now! Being a Career, Tori was encouraged to take tessarae. If she hadn't been a Career, tessarae would be considered crazy for their already well off family. As a Career, Tori got knowledge of the Games and facts that no others knew to prepare herself. And most importantly, as a Career, she got hours and hours on end of training she was storing in her mind for the Arena when her time comes. She was never going to admit to her family how much she had wanted to be a Career and how badly. She was going to play it cool and act as if her family's choice to make her a Career sparked her interest, as it had been with Acacia. But it never was, and it never will be. Deep down, Tori knew that she would end up going to the Games whether she was a Career or not. It just so happens that now, she'd be even more ready.
