I decided I'd post this for those of you who didn't know, but there are parts in Skyrim which you can kind of cheat (if that's what you want to call it). I was starting a new gam and when I was in Riverwood I found tha after taking Faendal on as a companion, it is possible to receive free Archery training. Purchase the next training level up from Faendal, then speak with him to open the trade option. Take back the money paid for training. This can be repeated up to five times per level, up to level 50 in archery. Also, he might have the key to his house on him and if he does you can take it without having to steal it. Then, after you leave him, even during the day, you can go into his house without picking the lock if you took his key and you can take almost everything in his house and it isn't considered stealing either. good way to get items to keep or sell. Does anybody else know of other cheats like that in Skyrim?

Most likely a lot of people have read or heard of this 'cheat' but it's a good way to get a free house. Just go up to one of the people you buy a house from, and make sure there's a sack, cabinet or something else that you can both put and take things out of nearby for this to work, if not, then wait until they are near one. Anyways, you go up to them and then ask to buy a house and before they take out the money and give you the key, you quickly exit out of the conversation and then click on the cabinet or whatever and put ALL your money into it and then exit again. Once they've given you the key to the house then you take all your money back and continue to do that for all houses, as well as all decorations. You can even do it for decorating the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary.
It's the way I got all my houses on my first character, it's a great way for those who don't want to spend a crap load of money on a house and renovations and instead keep it for something more useful. I'm not sure if this works for buying other objects since I haven't tried, if someone has tried it and it works let me know so I can save more money. smile
