The sun was set high in the sky. The tones of yellow mixed with orange and red rays shined across the blue, lighting most of the land in which shadows did not vacate. However, it was in these small patches of black cooled earth where you could find the character of this scene.
Arcadia flopped about boredly, rolling onto her back as a few swallows few above her head. She had met two wolves since she had been down here. Both were friendly in nature too. She sighed, a small paign on hunger hitting her stomach.
The osprey female wasn't in the mood for hunting though. What else was there around? Bugs.... but those were just icky to look at! Fish would work... Yay Sushi!

fayina had always found hunting to be quite enjoyable, and had been hunting not too long ago. Her faze and chest was smeered with blood, it was starting to become a brownish-black color because it was drying. She'd never been too orderly when killing something and she didn't seem to care too much about blood getting on her light colored fur, so the resulf was her going around all goary and dirty looking for quite some time before swimming or finally cleaning herself.
She'd never been one for fish, probably because their blood leaked into the water and washed away, that was no fun. Anyways she was heading toward the stream, surprisingly early after her meal, but she wanted a swim. She hadn't yet caught the scent of the other female, only the metalic scent on her fur was very potent in the air.

The scent of blood entered her nostrils, causing Arcadia's stomach to growl. She blinked, looking around as if something else made that hostile noise, before contining on her way. The scent in the air became stronger as her eyes settled on the former in which the smell came from. Tilting her head, she called out to the female. "Hello?"
She began to trot, eyeing the stream which held small fish. Okay, so that would be a snack before she could get some real food, but no worries! It was rude to eat infront of another who wasn't enjoying a meal.

Her ears flicked and she kept heading toward the stream before her body finally came to a stop. Her head swung in the other female's direction. "Greetings." She called back in reply. Her tail gave a slight fwoosh as it moved back and forth. "Are you to swim as well?" Her head tilted as she started for the water once again.

"A swim..." She started, "would be nice actually. If you wouldn't mind this lone wolfess to join you." She grinned. Sure, even if Fayina hadn't really said she was going for a swim, she could conclude that from her words by reading between the lines.
"Who're you? I'm Arcadia...Or Cadi for short," She grinned, stepping towards teh stream, the water raising just to her fetlock. Ah, this was nice, and quite ticklish! The little slimy fishes in the water were nipping at her furrytoes!

"But you are not alone, I am here as well." She seemed generally confused by the lone wolf statement, but soon was splashing about in the water, hopping onto a rock and then off.
"Arcadia?" She mimicked, letting the name roll around in her mind. She rather liked this wolf's fur, it blended so nicely but still stood out. "I am called Fayina Tao, but you can use whatever shortening your own mind comes up with."
