Now, I'm not a person who normally reads batman, I'll check him out when he's in crossovers like blackest night, or when he appears in things like justice league, and i'm always glad to watch the animated features like Year One, and Under the Red Hood (knowing full well they are based on books to a more or less extent)
This new story arch Night of the Owls has me hooked. I heard about it being a short story not spanning to long but still having the meaty good taste of an extended DC storyline. I have to say its worth picking up even if you're not a huge batman fan. alot of action, and you get to see things you wouldn't necessarily expect out of members from the bat family.
I have not finished reading this series yet, but I highly recommend everyone check it out if you like super hero comics at all. For people who love batman it goes deep into the history of Arkham City and I've quite enjoyed every inch of this story so far.

I read the entire thing, and just haven't liked how much of Batman's story they've changed. And it's not things like his family or such, but he isn't the world's greatest detective if this is how he handles this problem. I don't want to spoil anything too much if you haven't finished it yet such as the leader of the Court of Owls or even how other characters' histories tie into the Court of Owls and Batman's mythos. It was a unbelievable stretch in logic that fails in my opinion, but I can understand why they wanted to do it. Glad you're enjoying it, though, and after the Court comes the return of the Joker in a little event called "Death of the Family." Since I didn't like the Court, I'm not even going to bother with Joker, but I did love the miniseries "Gates of Gotham". Since the New 52 reboot, something has been off at DC, and it seems to be getting worse in all their books sad
