I know some might say this belongs in the Jewelry section, but I'm not talking about jewelry. This thread is about chainmaile armor. If there are any armorers out there feel free to post pics, questions, project updates or whatever here. As for myself, I have made my own hauberk and coif out of 14 gauge galvanized steel. I am currently working on replacing them with a new set made with smaller rings. Here is a pic of me in my current armor:

Oops, sorry misread the first post. redface It's kinda hard to describe without actually showing it. I just linked rings together in a 6 in 1 chainmaile pattern, closed them with pliers and once it started looking like a shirt I kept trying it on and adjusting it until it looked the way I wanted it. If you would like more details, I will try to find or put together something to better explain it. Are you interested in taking up chainmaile or just curious?
