When the answer from Zinkenite came, the two headed to the graveyard that Albireo had been shown. She was nervous, that was clear, but it was all going to be okay soon, right? It was all going to be okay now, and Jarosite was with her. She had the chance to fix all of the wrongs she had done, both now and in the past. She was happy for that chance, and was very glad that it was being given to her, even after what she had done…though, perhaps when Zinkenite learned about just what she had done…what if he changed his mind and just killed her instead. Well…she would have deserved that at least. She had killed someone, a girl was dead because of her own idiocy. Why shouldn’t a life be paid for with a life.
Only time would tell, time and the General King himself.

He appeared, somber faced, glancing over the both of you and arching an eyebrow. It was a long and studious pause, the kind that made most people rather nervous. They had every right to be. While the meeting had never been made public, Jarosite had been scolded SEVERAL times for his lack of forethought.
First, for behaving all too friendly with the enemy, the second time, quite unfortunately similar. He’d nearly compromised a battle trying to protect someone who he knew would be safe, were she unconscious. And now…
It would be fair to say it was a harsh wake up call for Zinkenite as well, he was overextending himself and he needed to start cutting corners in the less important areas of his life, cutting parts of his CIVILIAN life. That wasn’t to say there wouldn’t be consequences.
“Our first meeting, Jarosite, do you remember what I said? Kill or Corrupt?” He glanced almost apologetic at Albireo. “No offence intended. It’s simply the way of war.”
He glanced back at Jarosite. “I don’t remember… saying that KISSING was any kind of acceptable option. How fortunate it’s not her going to be punished for that.” He whispered.

Jarosite simply nodded. "I remember, sir," he said, formality in his voice. He was all business and part of the Negaverse now. Zinkenite had scolded him far too many times because of his actions with Albireo, and he really didn't want more scolding. He ducked his head into his collar, attempting to hide a sort of grin.
"Yes, sir." Was all he said in return, muffled by his collar and his headphones. He glanced at Albireo for a moment. "Well, go on. Don't make me repeat what you told me in tears, Swany." His eyes gave her a bit of encouragement, though nothing about him otherwise showed his preference. He was trying to be professional and Negaversey here.
Besides, he was going to help save her from the hell that the White Mooners were. That had ta count for somethin' right?

Albireo started to smile upon seeing Zink, not a strong smile, but a smile none the less, though when he began…to get…was he angry? Angry at Jarosite? She opened her mouth to interject something when Zink mentioned that Jarosite had been tasked with the goal of either corrupting her or killing her.
Well…that’s something she hadn’t really heard before…but whatever.
Jarosite told her to explain to Zinkenite why she was there, and suddenly it felt like her throat was constricted by some great…something. Like when you had a cold and couldn’t make your throat work, or something like that. Well, being tongue tied was sort of a first.
She swallowed several times and brought her eyes to the ground, shutting them and closing and opening her fists. After a long moment she looked up. “You were right, Zinkenite. I’ve become the monster that you warned about…”
The senshi again curled and uncurled her fists and struggled to get the next part out, feeling hot tears start to well up in her eyes once more. “I killed someone, Zinkenite. I…A lieutenant died, and it was all my fault…I'm sorry, I never meant to hurt her...she...she fell off a building, and...And I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry...”

“Don’t smile Jarosite, whatever else you have been up to, kissing someone on the side of order is at the BEST of times frowned upon. If I thought for a moment you’d ever do it again, I would send you to see Tanzanite.”
His voice was quiet and yet dangerous. “As for… the Lieutenant, perhaps Jarosite can show you to her grave.” He murmured and jerked his chin up. “This will hurt Albireo. Are you prepared for that? It will be part of the punishment for her death, though it is a war, it will not be the last death, merely one that has in some small way, been avenged.”

That certainly sobered Jarosite up. He shuddered. He really didn't like Tanzanite. The woman... youma... woyouma, or whatever scared the crap out of Jarosite on a normal day. Being sent to her for punishment... He shuddered again. "Of course sir. That won't be necessary sir." The grin fell of his face and he straightened his shoulders.
Jarosite waited quietly, watching and listening as Zink spoke to Albireo about how it would hurt. He was actually rather curious as to how this would work, as Jarosite didn't personally know the art behind corrupting. And it seemed corrupting an already in existence senshi was even harder. So he turned his attention to paying attention and hoped to learn something about the experience and procedure.

Albireo had to admit it; she was getting a little uncomfortable. Zinkenite…was being very cold…And Jarosite suddenly seemed like he didn’t care about her a bit. She shifted on her feet and swallowed. Was that what this all came down to? She was just…a war prize after all?
The senshi glanced around. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea after all…and…and maybe Jarosite had been right…it wasn’t really her fault the lieutenant had fallen. “She tripped…Zinkenite. She backed up and tripped and fell off the building…”
She didn’t like pain…she really didn’t…hadn’t that been her reason for coming here? To really be rid of the emotional toll it felt like she was under...that she felt like she had been under for months and months?
Now was she really at the end? Caught between a rock and a hard place, with two people…that didn’t seem to like her either…
Life was just stupidly not fair. Not fair at all. “I want Dahlia.” She blurted out. The cat would make her feel better. She just wanted someone to say that she was doing the right thing, wanted someone to say that it was all going to be okay. She just wanted someone there for her…And she wanted them right now.

The cat did not have the luxury of teleporting herself willy nilly like most of the members of the Dark militia that was the Negaverse. No.. she often found herself having to wait for a ride when she wanted to return to nega space, or hopping into open arms before they were whisked off someplace important. Like that gathering hall ambush not long ago...
It was a sensation she was used to by now, suddenly leaving wherever and whatever she was doing, to simply appear somewhere else. This time the sour expression that marred her face at having suddenly been forced to abandon her dinner quickly faded as she felt the three spikes of energy she was summoned along with. General King Zinkenite's was familiar, unmistakable. Jarosite's less so, she'd seen him in passing but little more then that. And the final one... Dual colored eyes lifted upwards to see the nervous and uncomfortable expression on the familiar senshi's face.
What was going on?
"Albireo..." The name was affectionate, wrapped up in a low and breathy purr as she wrapped herself around the girl's ankles. "You're out patrolling again? You're such a good girl." Soft words of comfort as creamy fur and a long tail wrapped around and around.
It would only take her a few brief moments to realize exactly what was happening. What was finally happening.
"The hurt won't last for long. And you won't even remember it after the fact." She was speaking from personal experience.
"And afterwards.. everything is going to get a whole lot better for you."

If she had second thoughts, if she was starting to realize that there was more to chaos than had been revealed to her. That the romance was forbidden and something that raised hackles on the General King to say the least, he was wasn’t about to allow there to be a chance to reconsider.
His hand pushed forward into her chest with a clinical precision, closing firmly around her star seed. “Some lessons are only learned through pain.” He murmured with a strange fervor.
Pain there was, and plenty of it, a cold devouring pain that tore through her pure star seed like thorns. Devouring the light that had been there before until all that remained was darkness and chaos. There, the marks of a corrupted senshi appearing on her brow and over her breastbone.
He pulled back sharply, leaving her to stagger into her lover’s arms if she made it that far before falling.
“If you two, are caught ‘snuggling’ or kissing within the next month, I will make you pay for that myself, consider it consequence for –seducing- someone to our cause, there is no room for romance with the forces of Order, not for any of us.

It would be painful, a terrible ripping pain that tore at your soul for those split moments. But in the end it would not be as rough for the senshi of swans as it had been for the cat still attempting to comfort her. Her choice to join would save some of her memories, would leave her with some of those connections to fall back on instead of the frightening blankness that many corrupted senshi and guardians felt. Maybe that in and of itself would be a solace to the senshi.
Zinkenite had not given her much warning, but as his hand disappeared and the strong waves of dark energy began to radiate from him and into her star seed the cat began to focus too, her own energies merging with those of the General. It wasn't much, a small boost for Albireo, but one that would leave Dahlia almost entirely exhausted in the end.
Zink's actions and words were harsh, but Dahlia was too tired to try and fight a superior over it at the moment. Instead she simply looked, fondly and protectively, over the girl that stumbled back. And at what she had become.

Dahlia was there, Dahlia was there and now everything was going to be okay. It was all going to be better. Albireo relaxed, though then Zinkenite advanced, she heard him murmur something about lessons learned though pain and she swallowed, quickly blurting out one thing she just had to say. She had to at least let Dahlia know who she had been, what she had been before all of this. “Odette Matthews. That was my name, Dahlia. That is who I was.”
It was good she got this out in the open, for a few moments later, Odette would be gone forever. Lost in a world of pain and darkness. The hand forced its way into her chest and pain filled every inch of her, body and soul. Oh god, pain beyond pain, she didn’t know what way was up, or what way was down, she just knew she hurt, but she knew she deserved this. This was her salvation. Knowing such a thing didn’t stop her from crying out with the pain, however. Though, with the pain came a kind of warmth, like when ********* took her from a normal senshi and turned her into her super form…was she getting such a privilege now? Was she becoming an eternal?
Everything felt like it was taking forever, would the pain stop? Would…ah.
She blinked her eyes open and put a hand against her head. She was sitting on the ground? How did that happen? Why did that happen? She looked down at her outfit. Well. She had changed. A lot.

She wanted to speak, wanted to say something, but right now it felt like she didn’t have the strength. Though, she felt a strange sense of clarity. Finally she looked up at the blue haired captain who was holding her and uttered her first words of this new life. "...Jarosite?" Was she supposed to remember who these people were? She knew, though she was still dazed, but she knew...and she knew what had been done for her.
And she was very grateful. She was saved.

That would be easy enough to do. He wasn't corrupting her because he loved her, not really. He was corrupting her because she needed a home, and the White Mooners weren't giving it to her. He wanted to save her from that hell, yes, but it was more for her own wellbeing, not his love for her. If Zink had ordered it before, Jarosite would have stopped acting so lovey-dovey with her far sooner than just the orders now. He would have just moved all of the affections to Odey---
Jarosite's eyes widened when Albireo - no Odette, his Odette - told the cat who she was. Swany was his Odey? His loveably, history geeking Odey? His will wavered long enough for Jarosite to flash to Merric, then back to Jarosite. He reached out with a hand as Zinkenite sent chaos running through her star seed.
No. No. No, not Odette...
Jarosite caught her as she fell. "Odette? My Odey...?" he asked her softly. When she looked up at him and spoke his name, his Negaverse name, he saw no hint of the girl he knew and had first fallen in love with. He saw nothing of Odette in the green eye of Corrupted Eternal Sailor Albireo.
He forced himself to remain where he was for the time being, to make sure the senshi was able to get her bearings or if Dahlia would take over for him. But a hundred thousand emotions raced through his heart and he wanted nothing, absolutely nothing to do with Albireo right now.
The sooner she was out of his arms, the sooner he could take out his emotions on something. On anything. Maybe even the White Mooners, who's magic had killed his Odette.

“We will speak later… make sure she is well cared for, find out what if anything she remembers, but let her rest. She will need a new name Jarosite, she ‘dances’ the part of the black swan now.”
His vexation with the young love had been tempered with tiredness, vanished without another word.

The cat was oblivious to the turmoil hitting Jarosite as he recoiled and reacted in surprise and pain.
She was also fairly oblivious as to the meaning behind Zinkenite's words. Had Albireo been in some cross factions love affair? The swan senshi had never mentioned it in their many chats, no their conversations had always been about friendship, and a place to belong, and the heavy topics of right and wrong. If she had been though... well Dahlia wouldn't have disapproved quite as heavily as the General King seemed to. Heck.. there was a certain white moon cat that Dahlia would seriously consider well.. 'having an affair with' to put things tastefully.
It didn't matter why Jarosite had brought her, or why Zinkenite had decided to turn her. It only even hardly mattered to Dahlia at the moment what flip had been switched in Albireo to finally bring her to the point of corruption.
All the mattered now was the pristine white that had shaded to a beautiful ebony black, and the aura of the corrupted eternal in front of her.
Dahlia was tired. But more then that she was concerned and exhilirated. Zink had disappeared, Jarosite was... whatever he was doing.
Using effort and energy she didn't even remember she had within her Dahlia moved forward and dark tan arms wrapped around the new dark senshi. She'd not had the power to do it before, not since her corruption but something now.. was it because of Albireo?
The cat was no longer simply a cat, her appearance starkly different then it had been just a moment before. Sultry, slinky, and dark compared to her feline form. The dual colored eyes that stared possesively at Albireo were entirely familiar however.
She was as tall as Albireo now, perhaps a little taller even, and her sheer sleeves helped her to further engulf the other girl in a protective and almost possessive hug.
"We should get you off the street. You've had a very long night."
"I'll teach you to dance another night." She mused softly, a feline purr mingling with the words as her fingers fondly teased the senshi's newly grown hair. Albireo might not have remembered the promise, but it didn't invalidate it to Dahlia. From their first meeting to every one after that. Dahlia had always felt the little dancer was hers, and now that feeling only grew stronger and stronger.
Albireo was hers now. And Dahlia was intent never to let her go.

Jarosite nodded stiffly and stood as the now human Dahlia took the senshi from his care. Rage had numbed him to the core, and all he felt was hatred. Hatred at himself, hatred at the White Mooners, and hatred at Albireo. It wasn't full hatred, no, but it did burn there. It would not be hard for Jarosite to follow Zinkenite's orders. In fact, he could probably follow them to the ends of time if the General King ordered it.
Anger did a wonder for clearing your thoughts.
"Nina will fit her, I think. Keep her safe, Dahlia. You're probably better for her right now than I am," he said, glancing between the human cat and Albireo for a moment. He nodded at the guardian cat once.
And then he walked down the back of the alley, turned a corner and ran as fast as he could away from the two.
