A Quick Tour of the Known World
by: SRT
Most Unis' introduction to the world begins with GloryHeart Meadow. This is where the Queen resides and where all matters of import are dealt with.
Surrounding the Meadow is the dense forested area known collectively as The WyldeWood. Because the Forest covers so much of the known world the entire area is referred to as the WyldeWood. There are many meadows and streams dotted throughout out the wood.
To the Southern border of the territory are the IceFury Mountains. They are a great barrier that keeps anyone from exploring further South. However the lower parts of the mountain range make a great residence for those who like colder climates. Many can even make it far enough up to where there is snow all year round.
To the West and North you will find the Mer-Haven Sea. The Merfolk that live there are friendly enough if you happen to see one.
Along the Northern Shore is a tropical beach known as The Sparkling Strand. Many Unis like to spend time up here for pleasure. The climate is warm enough that it never feels the touch of Winter.
Further North is a small group of islands known as the FoxFire Archipelago. As their name implies, they can only rarely be seen across the stretch of sea. Due to their mysterious nature, not much is known about them.
The area of the WyldeWood that edges the beach is a bit tropical as well. It has earned the name of Ardent Tangle. Don't let the name dissuade you from visiting though. It is a rather pleasant place to take refuge from the direct sun of the beaches.
There are three main rivers that run through the WyldeWood. The largest and fastest moving of which is the Azure Rush. the rush runs North out of the mountains then West along them until it empties into the Sea.
When the Rush turns West, the second river, the Crystal Flow, forks off to continue North. The Flow is a rather friendly river and even meanders close to the edge of The Meadow before finally making its way to the Sea.
The third main river, the Shadowed Drift, marks the Eastern boundary of the explored lands. No Uni has yet been tempted to explore the darker, wilder forest beyond its banks.
This concludes our tour of the known land. Happy exploring!
