Lizzy had a book, and two drums on a stand that she wanted to show Xiu; the former was in her backpack, and the latter was being moved - gently and carefully - down the corridor of the Demon dorms. She had gotten some gnomes to transport it to her room from the Students' Post Room, but they refused to help her carry it any further... Something about it being too troublesome.
Silly gnomes.
"Xiu! It's Lizzy! I'm here!" She knocked the door of the Baku, and then took a step back to catch her breath; it was a good thing that she had called earlier to let her friend know that she was coming... It would be a shame if she had carried this all the way here, only to find out that she wasn't in; after all, it wasn't easy having to move it!

Since she had been informed ahead of time of Lizzy's visit, Xiu was ready to jump up and answer the door the moment she heard the knock. Her lips were spread into a smile when she pulled it open to reveal the spider demoness, but her expression changed when she realized just what it was that Lizzy was holding, the smile dropping slightly as her eyes widened. W-woah, those looked heavy!
"H-here, let me help you with those!" She squeaked quickly, reaching out and trying to take the drums and stand from her. Had she carried this all the way by herself? From what she could see, these drums definitely weren't the easiest--and most effortless--things to lug around!
"W-what is all this...?"

"Um... Do you remember when Mot and I asked you to join our band for Botb, and then we came over to talk about what instruments we were going use?" Lizzy smiled sheepishly, more than willing to let Xiu take over the task of lugging the drums and stand into her room, "When I went to sign us up, the form was very specific about the kinds of instruments we could use... We needed to have vocals, a guitarist, and a drummer."
She looked apologetic as she continued, closing the door behind her after the instrument had been moved into the room, "So I signed Mot up as vocals, myself as the guitarist... And you as the drummer. I thought that Bongo drums might be the best, since I heard that they're easier to learn, compared to the typical drum set..." She was muttering at this point, although she soon grabbed Xiu's hands, looking at her with a worried expression, "I'm sorry! It's just that I wanted this to be an opportunity for Mot to improve his self-esteem and self-confidence, and making him our vocals will force him to take the spotlight... Which might help. If you have a preference of what instrument you want to use though, I could always edit the form!"
She should have asked the Baku beforehand, but was forced to make a quick decision at the time...
