The fact that Ariane had more male than female friends did not escape the attention of her weapon; in fact, one of Kintama's favorite pastimes is nagging at her to go meet and make out friends with more "ghouls". Although she usually wouldn't listen to him, Ariane found herself in a particularly girly mood one day, and while she thought of going to Jude - because he was pretty close to a girl in her mind - she decided on someone else instead.
Someone who shared her... Interest in a particular part of the male anatomy - the butt.
"Evaaaaa~" She grinned, jogging over to the female, having arranged to meet up with her in the Cafeteria the day before; she had no idea what they were going to do... Maybe harass a blonde male with a nice, perky a**? Those appeared to be in abundance on the island... Why, she could name at least three, off the top of her head!

Now, Eva wasn't entirely sure why Ariane had called her out here, but she didn't have any problems with spending the day with the her fellow death-trainee girl. Besides, with the exception of Reine, Clerise, and maybe Saya, Eva had begun to notice that she didn't hang out with girls as much as she did with guys. That had to change--after all, there were certain things that she couldn't talk about when she was around guys--say, Otto, Wilson, or Gale--compared to when she was around girlfriends.
Perking up at her voice, Eva turned to greet Ariane with a wide grin, throwing up a hand to wave. "Hey there, Ariane! How's it going?" Frankly, it felt like it had been quite a while since she had seen the other female around these parts. With everything that had been happening lately...well.
She pulled herself onto one of the cafeteria tables, sitting with one leg slung over the other as she cocked her head and stared up at Ariane with a smile. "So, pray tell: what's the plan?" Something about hanging out with Ariane made her think that the girl had an awesome plan in mind.

"Still alive, no missing limbs, so I see this as a good sign," Came Ariane's pretty standardized answer as she returned the wave, flashing Eva a grin; it really was easier to relax around another girl... Maybe it was the lack of butt to distract her with? The world might never know, "Yourself? Did you go on that last mission?"
If so, Eva looked a lot better than some of the people she had met up with recently.
Taking a seat on the other side of the table, she paused, trying to come up with something. After a moment, she just shrugged, "To be honest? I'm not sure... Although we never did complete our butt harassment trip."

Eva chuckled, hands propped up on her hips as she looked the girl up and down. "Yup, seem like you're in one piece, which is really the best we can ask for here." Frankly, she thought that it was a miracle that she hadn't lost a limb in any of the past missions, considering just what they had entailed. At the question about whether she had attended the last mission, the girl grimaced and--after a moment of hesitation--gave a slow shake of her head. Though she didn't divulge any information as to why she didn't go, she did offer a weak smile and murmur, "I feel guilty though--I wish I had gone."
But, well...there was no changing the past.
Eva perked up at "butt harassment", lifting a hand to hide the sudden grin that had spread over her lips. Ohohoho~~ "Well, I mean...I guess now wouldn't be a bad time to continue that, maybe?"

"Oh? No use feeling guilty though... What's done is done," Ariane replied, not really trying to make Eva feel better; it really was her take on such things... As much as a time travel machine would be nice, she had a feeling that it might just make things worse, somehow, "I didn't go either." Reason not divulged only because she didn't think it necessary or important enough.
"It's a day as good as any other," She laughed, holding up her right hand, "My hand is ready."
