While the rest of the hunters went on some mandatory mission to rescue the people who were captured during the recent raid on the island, Ariane was busy with being sick like a boss. However, since inactivity and being unproductive had dire consequences, she spent some time doing simple repair work on the buildings that were damaged during the recent raid, taking naps in-between.
After everyone returned, however, she decided to let whatever crazy fool who was mending all the things repair the buildings, and went back to putting the finishing touches on the repairs of her own room... And finally, after months of putting up bricks and plaster, it was done.
Bunking in with Ryan wasn't that bad, but she enjoyed her privacy. She wanted to walk around in her underwear sometimes, and while she wasn't too shy or concerned about these things, she would rather do it when she's alone, and not when she's in a boy friend's room.
"Wake up," Early one morning, Ryan would find a hand - belonging to a woman who was currently grinning at him - patting him gently on his rear end; Ariane could only hope that he was used to such treatment by now, "Rise and whine! It's time to say bye bye to your roommate~"

Ryan had gone on that mission. In fact, his body still ached and was still recovering from it. So when he felt something pawing at him, he groaned and tugged the blankets up closer around him. But at least he had the decency to respond.
"Whine, I will. Rise--I don't know yet." He muttered, cracking an eyelid to glare up at her. "Couldn't this have waited until--I don't know. Later?"
What was she talking about anyways? Was she going on a mission or something?
Of course, he would have known where she was going. Back to her own dorm. But since he hadn't asked around about how the repairs on the dorm rooms were going, he didn't. Nor that they were starting to move back into them already.

"Rise is said before whine because I want you out of bed before the whining, and not do it while in bed," The grin on her face widened, and she removed her hand from his butt, "Is your body not recovered yet?" She sounded a little sympathetic at least, although that was all he was going to get from her.
"Of course it can, but then you'll have to stay with me until later comes around," She chuckled, sitting down on the edge of his bed, crossing one leg over the other, "Unless you don't mind that of course. I'm not really in a hurry to move back to my own room."
Lies, she was eager to move back... But Ryan had been a good roommate, so it wasn't like she would die if she spent another minute here.

Obeying her order to get up, the moon trainee sat up and began rubbing at his eyes.
"For the most part, yeah." The phantom pains from the lava illusion were gone, leaving only a dull ache. However-- "I got shot with arrows." He reminded, pointing to the bandage that still covered one shoulder. "And since those weren't an illusion, I think they are going to take a little longer to heal." He grumbled, standing up and favored one foot over the other. Why? Because the horseman who happened to shoot him with an arrow, also decided to shoot one through his foot. The b*****d.
"Your dorm room is repaired?" He asked, reaching for some clothes to take and go change. "That was fast. Last I checked it looked as though Godzilla rampaged through there."

"Like I said before, at least you didn't take an arrow to the knee," Ariane replied with a grin, watching Ryan as he got out of bed; it was unbelievable how torn up some of them were, upon their return... The horsemen really went all out with the torture and pain. It was never nearly this bad when they were just going up against those pesky students, "Knee injuries are worse... You might even have to stop being a hunter! Heh, maybe I'll be able to really take over your room then."
She couldn't resist chuckling at his comment before throwing up her hands in the air, "I know right? It's actually been a few months since those holes appeared... It just felt a lot shorter than that." She then paused in order to waggle her eyebrows at him in a suggestive manner, "Why? Can't bear to see me go, Ryan?"

"Oh yes. Thankfully not." He snorted, but then paused. "Though, now that I think about it, I think Wash got an arrow in the knee. Or so I've heard." He had been unconscious when it happened, but apparently the other moon trainee got hit, just as he was passing through the portal. Terrible luck, that.
"Lucky for me, I still have such a bright future ahead of me in the hunter business." He even feigned happiness for the moment, but then followed it up with a sarcastic-- "We can even play target practice for years to come. I'll be the target."
Now he was grinning.
"Haven't you already?" He asked, eying her belongings with a raised brow. Belongings that she had already begun to pack.
"You can say that again." He added, before yawning. "Whaaat? Me? Nooo. Its just---it'll be sooo lonely without you here." He put a finger under his eye, as though to catch tears that weren't even there. "Don't worry about me, I'm sure I'm sure I'll survive with all that space back." He pretended to even choke up a little and sniffed.

"Oh? Wash, Wash, Wa- Ah!" Ariane's eyes widened slightly, smacking a fist down on her palm in a 'eureka' moment as she grinned, "Shield guy with tight a**? Ow, yeah, that's going to take some time to recover." Maybe she should visit him too; the only person that she visited was Otto.
"Ah, target practice... I was telling Otto that we should go play some shooting games in the arcade during one of our vacations," She sighed, almost wistfully, as she held up a hand, slowly moving it horizontally in front of her, "Can you see it? High scores! High scores all around, on every machine! Target practice without being shot back! Amazing!"
She rolled her eyes as she completed her sentence, lowering her hand.
"Naaaaah, this room still smells like Ryan," She made a face, like she had just smelt something terrible, before laughing - partially at her own comment, and partially at his reaction, "Aw, poor baby. It's alright, I'll be sure to come by often~" She even winked at him as she collected two duffle bags and a huge backpack from the floor; they were filled with her clothing, among other things.

Tight a**? "Yeah, that guy... the one with the uhh... shield."
Yawning a second time, Ryan started pulling his blankets back when Ariane began rambling on about arcade games.
"Shooting and not getting shot at definitely sounds a lot better than the alternative." And it would be highly amusing to see hunter names hog the high score listings. Then again, he wondered just how much gaming experience the two had since coming to the island and it if would be anything like the real thing. "I take it you were a gamer before you came here then?" He asked before he raised a brow at the death trainee.
"Oh thanks a lot." If that was supposed to be a jab at him then-- "Sure sure. Just remember to knock before barging in." He added, holding out a hand for her to pass some of the burden to him.

"I used to spend whatever time and money I had on the arcade. Oh, how my parents hated that sort of so-called delinquent behavior," Ariane replied with a sigh; clearly, she had more fun making her parents mad than with playing the arcade games, "But no. I never really considered myself a gamer."
In fact, she never said anything about being good at those games before... She just figured that she would be better - a lot better - at them now.
"Oh did you say something? Sorry, wasn't paying attention just now," She grinned, shaking her head when she noticed the offered hand, "You're the one walking around with a limp. Just open doors for me."
Starting with the door of his room.

"They called that delinquent behaviour?" That was mild in comparison to what he knew as delinquent behaviour. "Oh, I see. You were just more the rebellious type then, hmm?" He grinned and made a shoo motion towards her.
"Yeah, yeah. Sure you didn't and I'm sure I didn't hear that last comment either." he added, motioning for her to hand the bag to him again. Limping or not, he was not about to let her carry all that by herself. "Share the load."

"They were strict about these things, so to them? Yes, it's delinquent behavior... They're so strict that they might put some Asian parents to shame," Ariane replied with a half-shrug, since her shoulders were too weighed down for a proper shrug, "I personally think that they just had some kind of vendetta against having fun... "
She stared at Ryan for a bit before chuckling, handing one of the duffle bags over to him, "Fine... But don't come complaining to me if your muscles ache even more tomorrow." With one hand free though, at least she'll be able to open doors now. Oh, and pat Ryan on his butt.
Which was what she did.

"Sounds rough. I don't think I've ever really had any serious issues with my family." A pause. "Well, aside from the whole, 'I can see shadowy creatures!', problem." No need to explain any further on that note. He was sure almost every hunter on the island had had similar issues in the past, thanks to their 'gift' to see the supernatural. "Glad to see they didn't suck the life out of you though."
There was a small grin on Ryan's face, as Ariane surrendered the duffel bag to him. "I won't. Unless of course you decide on waking me up this early again." He added, sliding the strap over his shoulder and headed for the door. They were almost out of the room when he felt an unmistakable pat on his butt.
"Ariane... do you mind?"

"To be honest, I never actively saw them. Shadowy creatures, I mean. My friends and I just had an interest in the supernatural, so we went searching... But they ended up finding us instead," Ariane admitted; from what she had heard, the ability to see shadow creatures was not something easy to grow up with. A part of her wondered if anyone on the island would have given up their "gift" if they had the chance, "Jeremy, if you know him, and his older brother... Who never passed the test."
She had a feeling that Jeremy never got over that.
"I see myself sleeping in tomorrow," She chuckled, and then put on her most innocent look, "Do I mind what? Oh, giving you another pat on the butt?"

Ryan sucked in a sharp breath and let out a soft whistle. "That couldn't have been fun." He could only imagine what could have happened. If they were exploring haunted sights or looking into rumors of hauntings, he wondered if they encountered something more aggressive. He wouldn't pry, however, for all he knew it could have been a sensitive subject. Speaking of which-- "Jeremy?" He repeated the name, trying put a face to it. "I don't think I've ever met him."
He should really make more of an effort, though. After Julie and Killzone... waiting to get to know people didn't sound like a good idea. Otherwise, he might miss his chance entirely to meet good people.
"Thank you. I can officially look forward to a long uninterrupted morning then." He finished with another yawn before he let out a snort. "Yes, exactly that."

"That's because he got stuffed back into a pod for inactivity," Ariane replied, her voice going soft as she averted his gaze, even if it was only for a passing moment; she soon went back to grinning at him, "If he wakes up again, I'll tell you... Who knows? Two of you might get along."
She shrugged; Ryan was a nice guy, and Jeremy was pretty outgoing... Besides, friends might help with his lack of activity issues.
"Sure, always ready to supply a butt pat!" Her grin widened, patting him on his butt again, "When do I ever mind?"
