Amphi had thought about a million and one reasons why she should visit Thana. The first one of course was because her friend had left her chocolates, ones that had reminded her of home and had been a huge comfort to her as she tried to adjust to being of course...home again.
The second was that he had know she was missing and probably been worried...but wouldn't interfere with it because...Thana didn't do that. The third was of course Biskoto, the fourth was because Thana was one of her closest if not her best best best best friend and one she trusted with everything inside her.
She was just terrified. He was a moira reaper, and she was a mermaid with a tracker placed in her body. Would the hunters find that to be informational? Moira reapers had certain abilities after all? What if they took him away? She didn't want that either! She paced, thoughts clashing with each other before sighing.
No. She couldn't keep living in fear and relying only on Roch or Danny for help. She needed to be able to tell Thana...or Lizzy or Xiu of what transpired. Rubbing her face, she slapped her cheeks and then sent a small text message to the reaper. Just a forewarning of her visit to him...and then dressed in more casual but covering what she used to not care about showing off. A small light dress, hair pulled back into a long pony. She held her phone like a precious treasure and headed over to the reaper dorms.
Visiting a friend who didn't know excatly what transpired was going to be hard but...for his protection he needed to know the dangers of hunters and horsemen alike. Right?

Thanatos had gotten up earlier than usual; he did his daily routine of light exercises, shower, and breakfast. Just as he was done doing the dishes, his phone buzzed with a new message. A new message from a ghoul who had gone missing - kidnapped - just a few weeks ago. Of course, he knew that she was back, although he had no idea if there were any "damages"; as large as the school was, rumors go around fast, especially among the gnomes.
And the gnomes had a lot of "insider" info, thanks to their work around the school.
Waiting for the ghoul to arrive, he had settled down on his armchair, a pot of apple tea sitting on the coffee table, along with several matching cups - one was already filled, for himself. Biskoto, on the other hand, was not calm at all; she had been slithering back and forth near the front door the moment Thanatos had informed her of Amphi's visit; although the snake couldn't quite frown, worry was evident in her eyes.
When the foxfires in the next room started to bark, the reaper stood up, straightening out his vest before opening the door, guessing that the minipets had smelt Amphi - who was a familiar scent - on the other side.

After a brisk walk from monster to reapers, Amphi had waved a couple of students she had known, some how managed to avoid Lou after their last fiasco and now was safely hidden away in a dorms heading to Thana's.
She had thought long and hard how she wanted to address the situation to her friend. She knew that he would rather...watch then involve himself with the situation of hand.
She also knew that it was probably and most likely due to his...ablities and clan.
So she had decided to give her own...fortune tail to the reaper and sneak a warning in. Except he caught her by surprise when he opened the door just as she reached up to knock and looked around herself curiously. HOW DID HE KNOW. OH WAIT, HE WAS A MOIRA REAPER. Okay internal question answered. She fumbled for her phone and tucked her hair behind her ear.Quote: Hello Thana! how are you? Sorry to bother you while you- Quote: are still waking up! "Amphi darliiiiiiiiing!" Biskoto practically tackled the mermaid the moment the door was open, wrapping herself around one of her ankles, careful not to use too much force when giving her a squeeze. She then peered up at her with wide eyes, looking her friend over; it was nice to see that Amphi was alright... And even better to be able to feel her physical self right there, "It'sssss good to ssssee you again! Oh, darling, come on in!"
Thanatos allowed his familiar to take care of their guest, stepping aside to allow Amphi in while he held the door open for her. He figured that her using her phone as a way to communicate might be due to her losing her voice... Or something along that line. There was no other explanation for it. What he was curious about though, was how she lost her voice, although that would probably be answered soon enough.
"There is tea on the table. Help yourself to it," He gestured at his coffee tea.

Amphi gave a silent laugh as she hugged the snake back as well, arms wrapping as tight as possible as she closed her eyes. She stayed like that long enough to ease the panic and erratic breathing, the rise of emotion in her that she hadn't really allowed since she had come back.
Beyond Roch and Danny of course, she had kept to herself and done what she could to solve her own emotions.
She opened her eyes, slightly better and nodded. Offering a gentle smile as a thank you, she settled on the chairs that she was so use to visiting in and poured herself a small cup of tea. Taking a small sip, she waited till he joined her, making sure to leave room for Biskoto should she want to cuddle.
There was a lot of things that she wanted to start with. Small talk to build up to that moment but...Amphi knew that it was pointless and started typing on her phone before handing it over to the reaper. A small embarassed flush appeared on her face.Quote: First! I apologize for the lack of my voice, If you'll bear with me since I have a lot I need to tell you and not really the capabilities to do so. Second! I am glad to see you well and unharmed. I know the last time we chatted was because of me coming to tell you about field trips and such...Um this time...I am here to warn you about...a portal. A bunch of students gathered after a trance activity to visit a lake placed under the school. It was the same place we saw in the trance where hunters first appeared and took students. We had the same problem as well when we came to the lake. Hunters trapped us...and some of us were captured...

Biskoto did want to cuddle. In fact, the moment Amphi sat down, the familiar slithered up the couch, pulling the rest of her body up as she laid her head down on the ghoul's lap. It concerned her that the mermaid was not talking, and since she could not read off the screen, all she had was Thanatos' words... Not that he was saying very much, which only worried her further. Still, she did not want Amphi to see that she was fretting, so she tried her best to be comforting by being there.
"It is good to see that you are well as well, despite your lack of voice," The reaper replied, replying once he had finished reading what was on the phone screen, "I believe that the place you are talking about is linked to the image that was sent to my phone, some time after some students-" Such as yourself was implied, "-were trapped and captured?"
He handed the phone back to Amphi, and then picked up his cup of tea, sipping it as he watched her.

Amphi smiled at Biskoto and continued to pet the snake, quite content with how the familiar had made herself. If she noticed the distress in the snake's attitude about her voice, she tried her best to comfort the snake by gentle pets and finger taps.
She drew her face down and nodded as well, if a picture had been sent out then he was really well informed.
She bit her lip as she took the phone back.Quote: Ah yes, I didn't realize it had been sent around but the more you know the better you will be. He was honest and he was guilty of capturing us. Remorseful? I talked to him and he told me... They had captured us to be weapons. And they took us to a chamber and Israfel was turned into a weapon.

Thanatos decided not to comment on Amphi's first text - the one she typed before she took back her phone to type in other things - but he did acknowledge it with a nod. It was understandable for someone like Amphi to want only the good things in life for her friends... It really is a shame, but life - and unlife - just doesn't work that way.
"I think that's enough for today, don't you think so too, Biskoto?" He asked, standing up from his armchair to move over to the couch where Amphi and Biskoto were. He then sat down next to her, raising one hand to give the mermaid a pat on her head, sensing her distress.
The familiar nodded in agreement, leaning into her pats, nuzzling her hand gently as she hissed softly, "Oh Amphi darling..." What did they do to her to cause her to become like this?
"I appreciate the updates, and I'm sure that Biskoto does too, once I relay it to her. However, for now, how would you like to go to a little trip with me?" He grinned, removing his hand from her head, and using that same hand to pick up the cup of tea that he had prepared for Amphi, holding it out towards her, "After breakfast, that is."Nyxtsuki Moon I THOUGHT I TAGGED THIS. Amphi took back her phone but it was done with unsteady hands and almost a full panic mode of things she still needed to stay. She was terrified to tell him of the tracker in her body, to tell him that hunters could see and hear through her...like she was a weapon and yet had a mind of her own. It was terrible and harsh reality she would have to face. And the sooner she could isolate herself from her friends, the safer they would be.
As her hands trembled to get the last part of what she needed to say out, Thana moved over and gave a comforting pat on the head. It calmed her, startled her a little but calmed her. Never once had Thana really patted her on the head! her face blew up in a red flush as she drew her head down...
She was thankful for his understanding and yet, still scared that she was holding on to the information of what was inside her. Wouldn't it be better if he knew about it rather than not?
Biskoto was welcomed as always with another nuzzle, again startled by Thana's request. A trip? She wondered just what it was about though...She accepted the tea and watched him with wary eyes. "And why would I mind being around you?" Thanatos asked, one eyebrow raised as he reached for his cup of tea; the way she phrased that just struck him as being a little odd. Even Biskoto was curious, looking up at the mermaid with widened eyes, surprised at her choice of words.
"Oh darling, you know your company is alwaysssss welcomed!" The familiar reassured her, pulling her tail up onto the couch so that she could use the end to gently pat Amphi on the back of her hand, "At leasssst, you can alwayssss count on me if you wisssssh to spend sssssome time with a friend." She couldn't really speak for Thanatos, but she could definitely speak for herself - and she adored having friends around... Especially someone as nice as Amphi.
"Ah, by the way," He lowered his cup, now nearly emptied of tea, "Have you ever been to an amphitheater? A contemporary one, rather than a traditional one from the olden days."

Amphi shook her head and just stayed silent. They were to talk of happier things right? Would it be bad to tell him about the tracker?
It probably was, especially since she was still unsure of what the trackers capabilites being. She smiled at Biskoto instead of dwelling on the thoughts and patted her snake friend. it was such a nice thing though, she couldn't be more thankful for the friends she had, for the ones that supported her or the ones who stood by her no matter what.
She blinked at the question of a Amphitheater and smiled. Amphi...theater. Ha.

Thanatos grinned when Amphi smiled; so she got the 'Amphi-theater' part of it that he found so amusing. It was also partially why he wanted to take her to one.
"Traditionally, amphitheaters were used for things such as sporting events," He explained as he stood up, carefully heaving Biskoto onto his shoulders, "Nowadays, amphitheaters are used as a performance space... Some place I thought you might enjoy. Perhaps you could sing in one some day, when you regain your voice."
Once Biskoto was safely on his shoulders, he offered his arm to the mermaid.
