Letor Mountains
. . . . . . .
Semesta's largest mountain range that separates Aria and Jord. It serves as a natural barrier between the two nations, being incredible tall and hazardous. People are rarely ever found in these parts so its a good place to seek serenity, though only if you plan to stay near the base of these beauties.

 Ａerogus Ｂelial Ａrougius ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ "Being the strongest in the world won't matter... ╔═══════════════════════════╗
After a short time, Aegus spotted the target and smiled. "Durga, make sure the kid does not fall off. When you hear the signal, come and get us. Drop me above them. Kid, hold on to Durga real tight. I'm gonna get your parents." Aegus smiled, and jumped off the the red and golden bird, right above the target. He charged an air cannon, and smiled. As he fell, he went slower and slower because of the pressure of his cannon. "Alright, time for some fun! Valkyrie Spear!" He released the air cannon, and that caused the group of unidentified targets to get smashed. The remaining ones looked up to see Aegus with an unsheathed sword, coming down to strike. The chained group of people tried to get to safety as Aegus began quickly cutting up his foes, one by one.
When he was done, he sheathed his blade, and walked toward the captives. "Captives! You are all safe from harm! I am a wandering mission man, who takes on any request!... For the right price! Today, I ask of you all a mere 260 gold coins for each life saved today." Although irked, the people felt they had to repay the man, for his actions. "But wait! Where's my daughter? Is she safe?" Aegus saw the parents of the child, and gave Durga a signal. Durga quickly descended, and landed gently. Aegus smiled, and picked up the girl. "Kiddo, your parents are here." The girl opened her eyes, and looked toward her parents. She jumped from Aegus' arms, and ran toward her parents.
After a small reunion, and payments from all of the families, Aegus was about to be on his way. The bandits kept their horses alive and they found their belongings among the bodies of the bandits. They were all rich people, and Aegus liked that. Some payed him a little extra, and went on their way. Except for the little girl.
"Thank you mister! You saved my family.. So here!" The girl held up a pretty large bag of coins, and smiled. Aegus took it, and looked inside of it. All of it was gold. It was way more than he had asked for, and the girl walked away, while waving. The father picked her up, and put her on the horse with her mother. They walked toward the capitol, and Aegus sighed. The girl had waved again, and Aegus waved back. "Well Master, where shall we go now that we have received enough funds to travel?" Aegus smiled, and jumped on Durga's back. "To the port city of Angin of course! We have to travel across to the fire country where our first lead is!" Durga lifted off, and flew toward the south.

O.O.C - I can't believe it took me so long to find a friggin' good enough picture of a griffin. gaia_angelleft Kazeki (Zeki) gaia_angelright   Kazeki appeared at a clearing in the forest. " Cherub? -whistle- Here boy." She called. A small head poked out from behind a tree. When it saw its owner it ran/bobbled towards her. Hi, hi, hi! He said. The baby griffin cocked its head. Food? Food? Food? "Mhm." Kazeki reached in her bag and pulled out a chunk of raw meat. Cherub jumped and chirped for joy. She laid the meat in front of him. He quickly devoured his meal. -burp- Thanks! Thanks! Thanks! Kazeki pet her little friend. "I hate how I can't bring you into the castle. Its unsanitary" Kazeki said mimicking her sisters voice. She stood up and glided on her feet. " You must always stand poised like a young lady and pets are gross and blah blah blah." Cherub made a noise that sounded like laughing. Kazeki laid next to her pet and Cherub cuddled up next to her. The sun made her sleepy and she took a nap.

gaia_angelleft Kazeki (Zeki) gaia_angelright   Kazeki's eyes opened slowly then she shot up from her laying place. She looked around her then up at the night sky. "Oh Sh*t.." she thought. Shehad slept longer than she though and would be in big trouble if she didn't get home right away. Kazeki stood up ready to go back home when she felt a peck on her leg. She looked down to see Cherub pecking frantically at her leg. "Hey...Ow! Stop that! Cherub...Ow! Whats wrong?" Cherub stoped and looked up at Kazeki fear in his little golden eyes. Help...Help...Help... He cried. Kazeki bent down and examined him. He had scratches on his back and legs and one of his wings were missing some feathers and were dripping blood. She picked up her friend and asked "What happened?" Cherub was about to speak but instead he started wimpering. At that moment she heard a growl from a dark, thick bushes hidden in the trees. A pair of red eyes stared hungrily into her own. "Sh-Shade wolf..." she wispered. At the mention of its name it took an step forward and howled an ear peircing schreech of a howl. The Shade Wolf leaped with incredible speed at Kazeki who flew straight up in the air. Cherub wimpered some more. She apologized knowing that she probably hurt him but they would've been hurt even more if she didn't. She peered down below to see the Shade Wolf glaring up at her. "Two can play at that game." it said in a disgusting voice. The Shade Wolf arched its back and bat like wings came out of its back. "What!?! They couldn't do that before!" Kazeki thought. The Shade Wolf sprang up into the air, jaws open aiming for Kazeki. Kazeki tried to dodge it but she was a little late and it just nicked her arm leaving a small bloody scar on her arm. It charged at her again and she shot an air blast at it making in miss. It came at her a second time and this time she pulled out her dagger. As it leap towards her she manuvered under the wolf. She put the dagger's handle up against the wolf's chest but instead of it hitting a solid surface it went through it instead. Fear crept over Kazeki. Cherub barked a squeal of warning. The Wolf was comming at her again, claws extended. She formed an air sword around her hand and charged at the Shade Wolf. Blade versus Claw. She shot just above the wolf and cut him in half vertically right between the wings. He sat their suspended in the air then disaperated into the night. Kazeki gave a sigh if relief. She only suffered minor scratches and brusies but Cherub's wing was bleeding pretty badly now. She thought it was because of the in air combat. "I'm sorry." she whispered into his ear. "Lets go home." Instead of using a transport tornado and risk injuring Cherub any more, Kazkei cloaked her scent and flew high at a fast yet steady speed. (O.O.C- I got bored and decided there need to be some action!)

Human. Bard. Healer. Noah Harper was frozen in awe of the colossal mountain range that spanned out in all directions in front of him. This was the only thing that stood in the way of himself and Jord. He decided to take a brief respite before he would even attempt to conquer the massive mountain range. Noah pulled his only ever loyal companion, his guitar, from off of his back and started to pluck at the strings. He started to think of a song that would match the beauty of the spot that he had been sitting at, but refrained from playing for the time being. OOC: /

 ┏━━━━━━━━━┓ ↜тѕυкιкσ αуαмα↝ ┗━━━━━━━━━┛ ι αм тнє qυι¢кѕιℓνєя The Quicksilver dashed to the mountains on all fours, separating herself from the two that were with her earlier. It was best not to make too friendly with them. She couldn't trust anyone right off the bat, not with her status as a murderer. She looked around, seeing a person in his lonesome, with a guitar. Tsukiko had no intention of making friends, but in a place like this, she might as well make an acquaintance in case trouble showed up. She stood up on her legs, calling out to the man. "Seems like you want to climb that mountain, whelp. But as skinny as you are, I doubt you'd make it without any guidance."
Tsukiko's eyes narrowed slightly. She had crossed this range multiple times, so she knew it from top to bottom.

Human. Bard. Healer. Noah turned to face the young woman that was with him at the base of the mountain. In his eyes, she could have an animalistic side to her, and she could possibly know how to cross the range. "Speak for yourself, sister. You look just as frail as I do." Noah snipped and he turned his attention back to his guitar, but paused before playing. "You honestly know a way through here? Or are you just wasting my time? Because I got to-..." He stopped speaking and studied the girl. Noah gently leaned his guitar against a sprouting tree and walked closer to the other traveler. "Where're you from, girl? It's quite a while from the closest town..." OOC: /

"Tsk, Don't underestimate the Quicksilver of Vatra, boy." she said, answering his question of where she was from. She then went back to discussing the mountain range. "I've crossed this thing so many times, I can drag you along in my sleep." she said, slightly backing up as the male came closer. She always liked space between her and strangers, just in case she needed to bolt.

Human. Bard. Healer. "Vatra? Really, now? Me too. Moto, to be exact. The name's Noah." Noah stated, matter-of-factly. He walked back over to his guitar, picked it up, and started to pluck at the strings and music started to fill the air. "I haven't been back to Vatra in quite some time... Have you?" he said with a soft chuckle. Noah turned his attention back to The Quicksilver. "Never mind that... You really know the way through here, Princess?" Noah threw the sarcastic nickname at her to get a reaction. "'Cus I sure don't think either of us could fend for ourselves if something bad happened." She wondered why he was away from the nation. "Tsukiko.." Had he been exiled, like her? Or was it something else? She shook the thought from her mind as he spoke again, calling her princess. Quicksilver's eyes flashed from yellow to blue, then back to yellow. "Yeah yeah I know a way, whelp. But I'm tired okay? I just ran quite a while to get here. Stupid guards." she said, plopping down on her side like a tired animal. Her ears and tail flicked and twitched every few moments as she rested. "I agree. In this condition, they might actually be able to catch me." she mumbled, one side of her face on the ground. "What's your game, whelp? So I know what I'm working with."

Human. Bard. Healer. "My game? I'm good with a sword. Got myself some military training to boot." Noah said. he set down his guitar and pulled his sword from out of its sheath that was fastened on his back. He deliberately made a long cut along his left forearm, letting a soft grunt out after he was finished and presented it to Tsukiko. "I can do this too..." Noah put his sword down and held his hand over the fresh wound. The cut was covered in soft pink light and was quickly healed without even a trace of the cut. "Pretty nifty, right? I could fix you up if you need it." He said as he mounted his sword on his back again. Noah started to pace and think to himself while Tsukiko rested. OOC: /

She shot up when he unsheathed it, but settled back down when he began to cut himself. Her ears poked up in curiosity, and she looked to him with a smirk as he worked his magic, healing himself. It was then that he decided that he was worth keeping around! She sat up, now deciding that it would only be fair if she showed him her trade. The neko's eyes changed to blue as flames engulfed her tail, giving him a slight taste of her power. She held it for a little while before she could no longer control it and shut herself down, plopping back down onto her stomach. "My flames are way above average, so I.can only control a large amount for so long..." She explained. "We might as well start heading out. I can rest later"

Human. Bard. Healer. Noah was taken aback by the blue flames but was put at ease after they disappeared. "What you lack in control you make up in with strength... Impressive." Noah said, truthfully. He'd been in fair share of scrapes with fire elementals and he knew that having the mastery of fire defiantly gives one a large advantage in a fight. Noah extended his arm with an open hand towards the neko and covered her in a veil of pink light to revitalize her and kept his powers going for about a minute. He stopped healing and walked to the head of a well traveled path but stood there to wait for Tsukiko. "Have you ever been to Moto before? The place with the Vatra army training camp?" Noah asked, deciding to learn more about his new companion. OOC: /
