Amrita hadn't been home for a week before she started getting antsy. The longer she put it off, the less chance she imagined she had at getting everything out of her hands without the Hunters catching on to what she was doing. It should have been her first order of business, but, well...she was busy being a ball of panicked nerves.
But she couldn't hold off anymore; she had to go find Lizzy, not only to pass off a very important item, but to also see her friend and the closest thing to a Mother she had. The problem was, she couldn't find her phone nor could she remember it being in her possession when she came back home. Her room was only given a brief look over before she gave up and headed out to the Demon Dorms, wrapping herself up in a shawl as if it were a security blanket.
Once she got there, she reached out to knock on the door and prayed to Jack that her trip wasn't in vain.

"Coming!"
Lizzy had lost track of what she did the past few days; everything just seemed to happen so fast... She met up with a couple of people, gained a new minipet, and even signed up for the upcoming Battle of the Bands. It was odd, but perhaps she was so accustomed to trauma now that it just somehow seemed easier to get through the 'after' part of it.
"Amrita!" She smiled the moment she opened the door, wrapping the ghoul up in a tight hug; although they had spent the night together at a sleepover, it was always nice to see her again... It pained her to think of all the things that the hunters had put the poor ghoul through when she was in their hands.
What worried her most, however, was the tagging.

"Lizzy!" Amrita would never refuse a Lizzy hug, and the moment she was wrapped up in it she was returning it, squeezing the Demoness in a tight hug of her own. Once it was relaxed she took a step back, tightening her shawl around her shoulders but keeping herself in the doorway for now. "H-how are you?" It was small talk yes, but it was important to her too. It made her feel normal, like nothing was wrong.

"Well enough," Lizzy replied with a smile, putting one arm around Amrita's shoulder as best she could, and then leading her into her room, "And yourself?" To be honest, it was nice to talk about normal things, and act normal. The way things used to be.

"Mmmm...I'm here!" It was a weak attempt at optimism, but it was there. The ghoul smiled softly, shaking her head and moving along into the room as guided. She looked at the bed, wanting to take a seat, but alas that wouldn't happen. As much as it was fun to play nicely, there was something she needed to get out of the way, now.
"A-actually um, I need to...do something really important...before we get caught up being normal." The Vetala warned the demoness, trying to keep the ghost of a smile on her lips. "Do you have a pen and paper I could use?"

"Yes you are, and I'm glad for that," And as if she had to make sure, Lizzy gave Amrita another hug, although this one was quick and in passing.
"A pen and paper?" She echoed; surprised by the request, it took her a while to reply with a nod, walking over to her desk. After opening and looking through a few drawers, she returned with a writing pad - the same one she had used for the letter - and a pen. Passing both items to Amrita, she then waited to see what the ghoul intended to do with them.

The hug was again returned and her smile remained, taking the pen and paper as it was offered to her. She wrote one word on it - Lizzy's name - and then frowned to herself, looking around until she found the desk. The ghoul walked over to it and put the paper down, scribbling a few other nonsense words to get her hand working.
Then, quite oddly, she tilted her head back to look quite obviously at the ceiling as she started to write something out. When she was finished she flipped the notepad over - without moving her eyes from the ceiling - and held it out to Lizzy. No matter what she did she was very careful about not looking, and once Lizzy read what was on the paper (if she could, through the messy writing), why became very clear.Quote: Lizzy; tab llet hidden in floor boardsnear b ed ple ase take and hide le ave coa t

It took Lizzy a while to figure out what Amrita wrote, but once she did, the demoness very casually folded the paper in half, and slipped it into her pocket with a giggle, "There's no need to be so shy about asking Christof out for a date! You wouldn't even look at the paper... Leave it to me! I'll do it well~"
Waving her over, she then flopped down on the edge of the bed, patting the space beside it, "How are things going between the two of you anyway?"

"S-sorry, I just...Don't know how...could use some advice." Amrita played along easily enough, rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly. She was relieved that Lizzy handled it the way she did, and the ghoul took a seat next to the demoness when prompted. "Eh...he's worried about me, but I think he's being super careful. I just...kind of feel bad. Not up to visitors and whatnot." Shifting her weight the ghoul brought her knees up to her chest, tucking her feet under her.
"What about you and your boil? Is he still being a meanieface?" Yes, yes she did mean to say that.

"He was really worried about you... When we found out that you were missing, he thra- Became really worked up," Lizzy smiled, gently brushing through Amrita's hair with her fingers, trying to untangle the knots, "I've never approved of Christof, really... But if you like him, I guess that's what matters, so I'll try to like him too."
It was tough to just look at his "good" side though.
"He's always a meanie face. It'll be odd if he becomes Mot all of a sudden," She laughed, clearly amused, "Sometimes, I'm a little unhappy about things, but I'm not sure how to bring it up to him... I feel that it might be better for us if I just bear with it, and hope for it to pass."

"...He did?" Amrita's voice sounded a little disbelieving. Christof, worked up over her? Sure he seemed pretty desperate to get her home, but how much of that was actual concern for her, and not any attempt to have anymore loss in his life? Were the two concepts even different? Either way, she wasn't entirely convinced that Christof was legitimately worried about her.
"I...I appreciate it." The Vetala murmured shyly, playing with the curly ends of her long dark hair. "...'C-cause I do like him. A...a lot." She had, in light of recent events, actually started to realize that she might actually love him. She had no point of comparison though, this was just her gut instinct.
"Did you ever notice that Mac and Mot's eyes and hair colours are almost perfectly reversed?" The ghoul piped up suddenly, seemingly quite eager to impart this particular brand of knowledge on her dear friend. "And that Mot is really pale while Mac is...really not? Plus, the whole tall/skinny, shorter/thicker body types..." Lizzy's concerns, while very important to her, were brushed aside in this sudden need to get this out. "They really are opposites."
The ghoul then reached over to squeeze Lizzy's hand.
"Don't bear things out by yourself. If you're unhappy you have to tell someone." Or it will hurt a lot, as she was coming to understand.

"He did," Lizzy nodded, curious about why Amrita sounded like she didn't believe it. When the ghoul became all sorts of bashful, she giggled, wrapping her arms around her, and swaying her side to side gently; she found it funny how, when they first met, this same ghoul was confused and oblivious about what 'liking' someone meant... Like that time Charlie "confessed" to her, and they agreed to be special friends. Back then, it was cute, but someone like Charlie... As much as she liked Charlie, she knew that it was impossible for Amrita to be romantically involved with him once she became more mature.
And so much had happened since then that it was difficult not to.
"... Oh, hey, you're right!" She laughed, stopping the swaying to peer down at Amrita, "They really are opposites!" She smiled, squeezing Amrita's hand in return, "That's why I'm telling you now... You're someone~ It's just always harder to tell the person directly, but I might... Some time not now."

Amrita leaned into the hug, letting the Demoness sway her this way and that. This was normal, this was needed. Wanted, even. She was still a little surprised by how much Christof worried about her, but now that she thought about it... "When I got back, my desk wasn't the way I left it." She mused out loud. Some of her pens and pencils were broken, too! The work of Christof, perhaps?
"I...I guess but...I can't do anything more than listen - I love listening, d-don't get me wrong! - J-just...I can't...make him behave, that's all." Then, much quieter, she added. "Plus, he scares me." Mac was a tall, imposing figure after all! She continued to lean against the Demoness, loving how normal everything felt, but something else was bothering her, and one more thing she needed to say.
"Er...h-hey. You know that thing we were gonna do? I...I don't think I can, uh, go." How could she pass this off, in case someone was listening. "Seeds." She said, as if it explained everything; yes, she was talking about the currency, not the online information group. "You know how it is." Her voice lowered, honestly disappointed. She liked being a part of seeds, but with this...it was a bad idea.
"But...I'd like to tell the others first, if that's okay." Get all of her information out of there, and then get removed from the forums. That seemed to be the best way to help.

"Uh, yeah... Christof went a little out of control when he first found out," Lizzy admitted sheepishly; thankfully, he didn't trash the place completely... If he had flipped the fish tanks, for example, she was sure that Amrita would have been devastated upon her return home.
"I don't think I can make him behave either," She laughed, nuzzling Amrita playfully, "Oh? Why does he scare you?" That was something that she hadn't heard of before; most people just complain about how he had done something to cause them to dislike him, or something else along those lines.
"Aw... I understand," She smiled sadly, stroking the ghoul's hair, "And of course! Go ahead. It'll be helpful for the others to know too, I'm sure."
