Venri finds herself in an unfamiliar place: the changing room. Only one person is capable of doing this...

Vreni glanced around her. On the stainless steel racks hung various blouses. Some where opaque, some clear, others solid colored. Some had dainty floral patterns, others had none. The rack behind it held skirts of varying length. Some lacy, others frilly. Vreni did not wear skirts. She directed her attention elsewhere.
The walls of the store were covered in a soft pink wall paper. The place was superbly decorated. It evoked the feeling of high class European boutiques. Which, she supposed this was. Except it was in Apple District and not in say, the city of Paris.
She took a deep breath. The hair smelt heavily of roses and maybe lavender. Vreni grimaced. The strong smell was cloying. She sat down on a nearby chair.
To say that the girl felt out of place was being kind. Vreni had never been one for fashion. Her closet was surprisingly plain, filled with neutral whites, browns, grays and cool blues. She liked simplicity. This flowery shop... it went completely against everything she knew.

Lucette kicked the dressing room door open, her arms full of clothes she had picked out. "Are you knowing how hard it is to find clothes that are not flowers or lace in this boutique?" she asked, unceremoniously dumping the clothes onto the bench next to Vreni and immediately started to match the clothes together. "But you are not having to worry because I think I have found some nice clothes for you!" she said, smiling at the girl, and pushing the dressing room door shut.
"I have found cute shorts and they would go nicely with the shirts." she said, continuing to speak at her rapid pace, "Try them on!", she held up a black button up, smoothing out the sheer material, "And I have found this for you, but I haven't found a way for it to match you, yet.", maybe she would buy the shirt herself, it was a very nice material and very pretty.

Lucette walked out, kicking the dressing room door. The resulting slam shocked Vreni out of her rather catatonic state. She looked to the younger girl, then to the pile of clothing in her arms. Lucette threw the pile of cloth down next to her.
She took one glance at the pile and was worried. On the very top were a pair of leggings with a classic rose motif. Vreni looked away. She wasn't sure if she could wear that. But Lucette had good taste, she knew that. And she had spent so much time picking out clothing and… She stared dubiously at the shirt Lucette was holding up.
"I'll, uh, go try that on."
Vreni picked up the clothing Lucette was holding up and made her way to the changing rooms. She changed into the clothing and hesitated for a moment. She didn't normally wear clothing like this…was it really okay? She stepped out of the changing room.
"Does this look weird?"

While waiting for Vreni to get changed, Lucette sat down on the bench, continuing to organize the clothing in different sets. She looked up when Vreni spoke, and scanned the girl from top to bottom, "Er...the shirt is only looking weird because it is being very see-through." she stood up, straightening out the hems and linings of the shirt and pants. "Do you have any bright jewelry? Like gold or nice jewels? They would be making this look even nicer. And we must be getting you a shirt underneath because then the boys will be staring you.", she smiled and patted Vreni's arm gently.
"Okay, okay." Lucette picked up the navy blue skirt and the pink t-shirt and handed it over to Vreni. "Try this on now. And remember that the shirt is being tucked into the skirt. It is making the waist look slim and pretty. But you are already slim so it is even better."
So far Vreni seemed to be okay with the clothes that she had picked out for her, which was great news. Lucette was worried for a moment that Vreni wouldn't appreciate the gesture and would leave and never talk to Lucette at school. But this, this was a wonderful turn out.

"No, I don't have any bright jewelry.." Vreni's voice started to trail off as she caught sight of herself in one of the mirrors behind Lucette. The shirt was see-through as the girl had pointed out. Vreni suddenly felt a wave of embarrassment, she wasn't suited to this kind of clothing.
"Maybe it's best if I don't get this. It's not really my style..."
She glanced at the outfit that Lucette was holding out. Vreni usually stuck to neutral colors, her entire closet was filled with blues, navies, browns, gray and whites. She handed the clothing back to Lucette, shaking her head.
"I don't look good in bright colors."

"That is okay." Lucette said, "We be looking for some, we are in a nice boutique." the Frenchgirl frowned at Vreni, wondering why she was so apprehensive to try on new clothing. She had specifically picked them out for her, something that Vreni would like. "Like I am saying, when you wear a white top under, it is still looking okay.", she said a bit more forcefully this time. "And who is telling you that you are not looking nice in bright colors?!" Lucette demanded, "And this is a dressing room! You can be trying on anything and you will not be judged!! It is a safe place, there is no one here, it is okay." she said, holding out the skirt and shirt again. "I am picking out these clothing that are suited for you and your personality, I am not being an idiot and just randomly picking out because I am wanting to."
She put her other hand her hip, and stared at Vreni straight in the eye, "Go and be trying on these clothes, maybe you will be liking them but you will be never knowing if you act like that."
