It was one of those rare moments when Shun had left her on her own, off to get food that she would likely not eat. As soon as the door clicked closed Mitsu stared at it for a long moment before she rose from the couch, stretching as far as her limbs would allow. When she was done she had a look around moving about the room to investigate. It was in times when he was gone that she was truly nosy, her feet taking her toward the bookshelf and the notebooks she had spotted earlier. The first one she reached had a blank face but showed that it had been used and written in often with as worn as the edges were. When she opened it the first page was dated and looked to have explanations about the day in question. It was a journal.

Yes,” She almost hissed her enthusiasm as she pulled the notebook off the shelf and took it with her as she continued around the room studying the page before flipping to a new one. The notebook was fairly early in the prior year talking about Prom and how she hadn’t wanted to go without her mask but had finally been talked into a half mask of sorts. Lizzy was the cause but the wolf girl had felt obliged to do as she was told since the spider demon had spent so much time helping her make her dress.

The passage continued on to describe Prom on a later day, how handsome she thought Shun looked in his suit, and how excited and nervous she was to go to her first dance. “First dance?” Mitsu paused in her steps as she continued to read, it seemed every little detail was noted in the journal. How the lights looked, the people that were there, the food, the music. As she continued to read her expression changed from thoughtful to annoyed. When her mouth was set into a deep frown she looked up from the passage and rolled her eyes. “Alright, enough with PromGod.

Flipping a few pages passed that Mitsu continued to read about later events like the school festival and classes. From time to time there was a vague passage about a man named Suto Adolphus or more often Mr. Adolphus. There was never a lot of detail written about who he was but it was obvious Mitsu was nervous about him, even her writing at the time looked shaky and uneven as she described a phone call she had received from the scientist.

Interesting, Shun spoke of him.” Mitsu said thoughtfully tapping the page with a nod. “I wonder what he’s like.” She ran her hand along the shaky writing before she stopped to regard the object that was in front of her. It was the keyboard set out so neatly on its own little stand. It looked well cared for and rather nice. Hesitantly the lycan reached her hand toward it and touched a key but the instrument was lifeless and made no noise. Perhaps it was for the better.

Shrugging she headed around the room reading the notebook as she went trying to absorb what was written within it. She stopped from time to time to look at something else: a random photo, an odd purple doll with tentacles for hair, a small tile with a dragon on it that looked like it was made of bone, a handmade wind chime. All things that probably had stories that were unknown to her. Even the odd round bed contained a few stuff animals. A little wolf plushie, a vampire teddy, and several fox fire mini pet plushies. Though one wasn’t so mini.

What is with this room?” She seemingly asked herself as she took in more of the décor or lack thereof. She tilted her head as if regarding something before shaking her head. “No its just so plain. Though if shes on her own that explains why.

Her gaze almost seemed calculating as she closed the notebook and regarded the closet that contained the mini pets. For the time Mitsu had left them inside not daring to let them out but she was almost curious, her hand reaching for the door. Something seemed to tell her it was a bad idea though and she retracted her hand without letting the pets loose. Staring at the door for a moment she brought the hand back to ruffle her hair before moving on. "Later..."

Moving to the bathroom Mitsu regarded the items there as well before looking into the mirror to stare at her appearance. There were dark circles under her eyes and she looked tired, worn but that seemed to be her normal thing as of late. “Ive missed having long hair,” She said into the mirror, bringing the long braid over her shoulder to fuss with it, a small smile touching her lips. “ Yeah it used to be...it'd be nice to have it back but I don't think I'd be able devote time just to my hair like I could before..” Mitsu carried on the conversation to the voice that wasn’t there before turning to look back into the main room.

Her expression seemed to grow serious for a moment and she shook her head. “It’s not a problem. I have everything under control. No one suspects a thing they just think she’s under trauma and can’t remember.” Flipping the braid back over her shoulder Mitsu carried the notebook back into the other room and took a seat on the couch once again. “I should be able to play up a few memories though.” She patted the notebook before flipping it open again to continue to read. She got a few pages in, suddenly silent again before she heard a noise outside the door. Hastily she stashed the book behind a pillow and slouched in her seat trying to play up the worn and tired bit.

You’re back..” She smiled weakly as Shun pushed the door open to enter.
