The game is played thusly:

One person says that they are bringing something to a party. The next person says that they're bringing something else, and the first person tells them whether or not they can actually bring that thing to the party, based on a rule. For example, begins with the letter C:

We already have granola bars (you can't bring them)

I bring carrots!

Player 1

Fine, you may bring carrots


etc.

When someone guesses the rule, the person who guesses it starts a new rule.

I shall start!

I bring onions to the party!
