The Puppet Technique is a unique ninjutsu fighting style; this technique uses chakra threads to control puppets like marionettes. Any number of chakra threads can be used to control a puppet, but users with more skill can use fewer strings per puppet.

Basic Abilities

Cut Wire
Description:The user will quickly release their control over a puppet, causing their strings to disappear and allow them to maneuver more freely. Because it forces the user to release control of a puppet, it is typically only used for defensive dodging purposes

Wire Snap
Description: Realizing the costs of using 'Cut Wire' this technique was developed to allow the user to connect strings to a puppet at an alarming rate. The user will simply bring forth chakra strings to their finger tips, aim at a puppet, and use a burst of chakra to connect to the target almost in an instant

Human Puppet Creation
Description: After slaying or scavenging a fallen shinobi, the user is capable of creating a powerful Human style Puppet. The puppet crafted by this method retains certain abilities dictated by the creator's ranking...
It should also be noted that Human Puppets are considered Advanced Puppets. All jutsu used by these puppets come out from YOUR total.

Blade Wire
Description: After detaching a chakra string from a puppet, the user will lash out on their target as if the wire were a whip. Because it is formed from pure chakra, the wire is very difficult to cut and is as sharp as a sword

Jiiki Chikamatsu no Shuu [White Secret Technique]
Description:
Allows the user to summon the puppet sect known as 'The Army of White'. It should be noted that upon summoning, the user does not need to attach strings to the puppets as they are applied along with the summoning

Chakra Strings: Red
Description: A very difficult to maintain technique used in cooperation with 'The Red Army' summoning. The user will emit ten strings from each finger, allowing control over one hundred puppets. This action occurs almost in an instant, allowing each puppet to be ready for use rather quickly.

Hyakki no Souen [Red Secret Technique]
Allows the user to summon the puppet sect known as 'The Red Army'. It should be noted that upon summoning the user will in fact have to apply chakra strings to each puppet

Kairai Engeki • Kuro Higi Kiki Ippatsu - Puppet Theater • Black Secret Technique, Dual Mechanism One Shot

Description: Kairai Engeki • Kuro Higi Kiki Ippatsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Sand ninja . The user uses this technique while performing his Kugutsu no Jutsu. This technique involves the user's puppet acting in conjunction with another. The first acts mainly as a defensive puppet in this technique, capturing the user's opponents. The user then uses the second puppet to maneuver his clueless target into the other puppet's opened chest. Once inside it will immediately close to prevent their escape. Acting quickly, the user will break apart the limbs of the defensive puppet, with each limb popping out a deadly poisoned dagger from its connection point. These limbs then jab into the slots of closed chest, puncturing and killing the opponent trapped inside.

Kuro Higi Kiki Ni Hatsu - Black Secret Technique Crisis of Two Début

Description: Kuro Higi Kiki Ni Hatsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Kankurou. Using his Kuroari puppet, Kankurou distracts his opponent in some way, either by means of another ninja or possibly using Karasu. With the opponent distracted, Kuroari is moved into position behind them. Kankurou opens the chest cavity and launches wire to ensnare his target. This pulls them into Kuroari's chest, causing it to snap shut, trapping them. Instead of using Karasu to deal the finishing blow, the wire wrapped around the opponent continues to tighten until it cuts through the opponent.

Doku Kiri Jigoku • Baribari Hyaku Renpatsu - Poison Mist Hell • Hundred Continuous Tears

Description: This technique involves whoever is utilizing this puppet, using any pair of puppets. The user maneuvers the two puppets around his target, then uses one launch poison mist bombs at his target, enveloping them in the gas, then both launch a multitude of needles at the target.

Mokujin Hitsugi - Wooden Men Coffin

Description: Mokujin Hitsugi is a Ninjutsu technique that uses a large amount of wooden puppets. Using their vast army of wooden training men, the three brothers place more advanced charms on the heads of the dummies which allow them to attack a specific target. When the target is sufficiently surrounded, the clan members will break the wooden men down into their base parts and then combine them into long rows. These rows stack and combine to surround their target and isolate them from the outside world. The wooden parts are be imbued with the clan member's chakra and be greatly strengthened as a result. If enough power is placed against the structure however, it can come crashing apart, sending pieces of puppets flying through the air.

Akahigi • Hyakki no Souen: Performance of the Hundred Puppets

Description: Hyakki no Souen is a Ninjutsu technique used by the puppet master Sasori that is believed to have brought down a whole country. The skill of a puppet master is said to be proportional to the number of puppets they can manipulate at one time. In his puppet form, Sasori has been able to greatly increase the number of chakra strings he can emit from his body at one time. A normal puppet master like Chiyo limits herself to ten strings and puppets, focusing on quality over quantity. However, for Sasori, no such limit exists. This technique goes for the brute force approach, seeking to overwhelm his opponent.

To start the technique, Sasori will remove the summoning scroll from his back. Opening his right chest compartment, he will emit approximately a hundred chakra strings to reach into the scroll and control the puppets. These puppets are former opponents of Sasori's who he has made into hitokugutsu puppets. This allows the puppets to retain the skills and abilities they used in life. For that reason many of the puppets will retain the weapons they once used, though due to the massive amount of chakra being used in the chakra strings, these puppets can not use their former jutsus.
