Amy looked over the DETH guide again, she still had quite a few badges to go through. Her Human Cooker badge sat on her desk next to the movie and book she received in the DETH Scout kit. She felt bad for humans as she looked over some of the badge requirements, they get scared all the time by students and then there are the horsemen who want to hurt them too. "That's the one I'll do! I'll go find a Horsemen and try to talk them out of hurting humans! It doesn't seem too hard right Tiger?" The minipet mewed softly as Amy got up off of her bed. She pulled her sneakers on and picked up the DETH Scout guide before leaving her dorm room. "Now don't eat Snowy while I'm gone or else no more treats for you!" She shook her finger at the nekogiri and gave it a glare before closing her door and walking down the hall. "Hrm.. So where should I go to find a Horsemen?" Amy stood and pondered for a moment before walking towards the Weeping Forest. Students got lost there quite often so maybe a horsemen could have gotten lost there all the same. She tucked the DETH Scout guide in her bag and brought out her bat just in case she needed it. After a few practice swings she set out into the Weeping Forest, hopefully to find a Horsemen to teach about the downsides of bringing harm to humans. Not getting lost would be a good thing to if she could help it. Tiger would get awfully hungry if she got lost in the forest for awhile and that would leave her cleaning up the shredded remains of her books when she got back.

Shaheen was taking a break. From training, from lair tasks, from life in general. She wished it could also be that easy to take a break from the voices that nattered away in her head, but things were never quite that simple. She had too much to think about, and her brain was starting to ache in a highly uncomfortable fashion. So, she tried to get away, and lounged up in the tree in the weeping forest, staring down at nothing, eyes unfocused, one foot swinging lazily from her perch while the other was tucked beneath her. Her wings were folded back tight, her hair tied back in a mass of blonde and grey curls. It wasn't until a figure stumbled out into her line of sight that she became more animated, her stoic features coming to life as she blinked golden eyes, her foot swinging stopping as she lifted her leg back up to the tree and pushed herself up into a crouch. Silent. Poised. Her dagger flashed in her hand as she stared down at the intrusion. But it was only a girl, likely a student. Her attention was drawn quickly towards the bat in the girls hand. Not a weapon Shaheen was not well versed with, but it looked familiar...something she had once caught sight of in the human world, perhaps? She had been there often enough it was sometimes hard to remember. Curious, she stepped off of the branch, her wings unfolding as she alighted herself upon the ground right in front of the girl, dagger still held at the ready just in case. "What is that called?" She asked, not bothering with formalities, and expecting a quick answer with no questions asked, her eyes flickering down to the weapon as she nodded towards it then looked back at the girls face. Ninjagami Ryo Kage- just to note, Shaheen is 6'2". How tall is Amy?

Amy jumped back and almost fell, she looked up at the towering horsemen who had a weapon drawn. "Whoah... you're tall." It took her a moment to compose herself and realize that the horsemen had asked a question. Amy lifted up her bat and showed it to the horsemen, not letting it get close enough to be taken though. "It's a baseball bat with little wings so it's a batty bat" She laughed a little bit and looked at the horsemen. After the initial shock, Amy noticed her wings and dagger at the ready. That meant she would have to proceed very carefully with the horsemen. "Um.. I'm Amy, Amy Rogers. What's your name Miss Horsemen?" She was a tad bit nervous since she really wanted to do her best for the DETH Scouts. She also didn't want to say anything wrong to upset the horsemen or start a fight in the forest. That would probably double her odds of getting lost, at least the horsemen had wings and could simply fly out if she got lost.

Shaheen might have been slightly amused when the student stumbled back, but she didn't let it show on her face as she cocked her head to the side and stared curiously at the weapon with her golden eyes. "Indeed." Was her only reply to the 'tall' statement. Compared to many of the students, Shaheen did seem to hover, and not just literally, over top of them. Among horsemen, however, being this height did not seem to be all that uncommon. "Or perhaps it is just that you are quite short." Her face was still completely impassive. It was impossible to tell if she was trying to make a joke or just a statement of fact.
"A...bat?" She blinked, raising one eyebrow as her eyes flickered back towards the girl, her arms going to cross over her chest as she straitened back up. "Baseball. Hrmmmm." The word was indeed familiar, but then again she still could not quite place it.
"Is there a reason it is given such a title?" She asked again. "It appears as though it might be good for bludgeoning. Often messy, but very effective in some circumstances." Talking weapons, that is something she knew.
"I am Shaheen." She stated, her voice flat and holding no warmth towards this student that she did not know. She did not add on any other formalities. No 'it's nice to meet you's or 'it's a pleasure's. "Formarly of the isles of war, now of the lost clans." She decided to tack on, in case it wasn't obvious.
"Tell me more about your weapon." She gestured imperiously with her dagger. It was pretty much a demand.

Amy looked up at the horseman and from when she pointed out Amy's lack in the height department. Yeah she was shorter than a lot of the boils in Amityville but not by much. There were a few that were at the extreme ends of the spectrum though, being really short or really tall. But this horseman seemed to tower over a majority of the students. Either way she really didn't like her height or lack thereof being pointed out. "I'm not that short! I'm taller than some students at Amityville...." She looked at her bat again and nodded. "Yeah baseball is a sport and this is what is used to hit the ball to make it go really far so that boils and ghouls can run around the bases to get points for the team. It's really fun to play especially if you're a good batter like me." She blinked at the horsemen's idea of bludgeoning things with the baseball bat. Amy had used it like that but never with the intent of really hurting anyone. "I use it more for fun that for violence... But that's just me I guess?"The Horsemen had a very nice name, it was very easy to say as well. my felt a bit bad about what had happened to the clans and hoped that all the horsemen would find ways to cope with what had happened. It was a touchy subject though so she wouldn't ask about it. She pondered what else she could say about her weapon, it wasn't very complex. "Well.. I mean I mostly use it to play baseball. I do have to have it out to cast win spells to make others stagger or get dizzy. I'm slowly learning more impressive spells but I'm far off of doing anything major."

The girl seemed to be a little bit touchy about her height. Shaheen smirked as her eyes narrowed mischievously. She would remember that, and probably use it in future to antagonize the student. "A sport." She echoed, the term not completely lost upon her. Of course horsemen had their own games that they played growing up, though often they were a test of skills and strengths, and were played more for pride and honor then for 'fun'. "Violence is fun." She stated again, as though that opinion were not up for discussion and was something that was just known. Wars were violent and bloody ordeals. The chieftain lived for moments like those. "So you can use it to hit objects at others? Very interesting." She automatically took what little info she was given and spun it around to make it into something that might be more useful on the battlefield rather then the baseball...field? Or whatever it was called. Shaheen had no idea and was not that interested in learning. "Why is it required for when you are conducting a spell?" She prompted, expecting yet more answers and curious about this new turn in the conversation. Shaheen must have been feeling inquisitive today.

Amy watched the horseman and pondered when she should bring up the major topic of humans. After a bit it hit her, it was quite simple to bring up since the horsemen had asked more about her weapon. She shifted her bat to her other hand and popped her knees quickly before answering. "Well I try not to hit others since that makes it easier for the other teammates to get the ball and make get an out on me. Plus I still have to work on my aim, my swing is really good though." She took a small pause and toyed with the wings on her bat, they were a little dirty so she would have to clean them later. "Well you know what fear is right? My bat helps me focus my fear and stuff for spells. Which is why you can't touch it." She made a pouty face jokingly at the horsemen. "But while I'm on the topic of fear would it be ok if I strayed a bit from the conversation?" She waited patiently for a reply from the horsemen before going on with her DETH Scout speech. Hopefully her politeness would help keep the conversation peaceful.

Shaheen waited patiently for the girl to finish her explanation, though her scowl began to darken at each passing word. Amy's explanations only left the horsewoman with more questions, which led her to believe that the girl was either trying to make her look or feel stupid, or she was being lazy and not explaining things thoroughly enough. She had this thing called a bat, that was obviously a weapon, and she was talking about getting an 'out', whatever the hell that even meant. "Of course I know what Fear is." She snapped, her arms coming up to cross over her chest. What horseman didn't know what Fear was? They could harvest more Fear from humans in a single evening then all of Halloween could do in a year. A change of topic was not exactly ideal at this point, since Shaheen was still feeling quite lost and wanted to ask more questions, but she decided to allow it, and just nodded her head. "Speak then." She made a 'go on' gesture while rolling her eyes, losing interest in the conversation very quickly now.
