Day two of lab work. And not the medical kind, (he might have even preferred it). His hands were covered in a thin layer of dried cement as he and two other began to layout the bricks for the walls. Bucket of bricks on a pulley system, bucket of wet cement. The humid air meant that the bricks would take faster to dry, not to mention him and the others were dealing with cement and the lovely fact it liked to get everywhere and then dry just enough to make a mess. While other moons might have been messy, Marcus was oddly meticulous except for the occasional spill. Working at a slightly slower pace, he wasn't dropping bricks or cement below, not to mention he wasn't ending up with bricks skewed this was and that.
If he was going to do a job, he was going to do it right goddamn it.

A new bucket full of bricks pulled up, Marcus was hearing the annoying snide remarks from the sun hunters below on how this is where moons belonged. Three ignorant assholes, who were probably at fault for breaking half the things on the island. Marcus would have liked to see how they did without any moons to help them. He really would. Their laughter was cut short however as a fellow moon slug a handful of cement at them grinning when it landed on one of their chins..and partially in the sun's mouth. Laughter interrupted from the moons and the suns cursed and two more fistfuls of cement were slung their way. Marcus couldn't help but laugh as well. It was a small moment where he was rather thankful the moons didn't put up with it. Granted, their laughter abruptly ended when a life hunter walked by, but they snickered under their breath. Edith might scold them later but hey, they were working.

Switching out to take a break, the wall was nearly done, just a few more lines. Sweat make his shirt stick to his chest and back as a life came in offering them water and a few veggies to snack on. Leery, they accepted. It was Marcus however that was the volunteer to test them for any side effects. A bite, and drink, nothing happened. They also checked for anything glowing or any runes on the cups or plates. As the wall was finished, two moons smiled, and began to sling some of the remaining cement at each other.
One cement fight later, the room was oddly clean, yet a group of moons were strangely covered in bits of drying cement. None of them, Marcus included, would say what happened.
