The boy in question was nowhere to be found. On the other hand, his raevan was easily located. On the opposite end of the hall she was waging a small war against Sevilin. She yelled back at him with a shrill cry, “I dare you! Come here and face me for real you big chicken!” The female released a few shots of her own from behind the blanket shell of her fort. A helpless stuffed animal sailed through the air at alarming speeds and smacked itself into the sea fairy's defenses. A pillow dislodged itself from the makeshift wall which LuLu concluded as a victory on her part. A battle had been won, but the war was far from over.

The corpses of countless plush animals filled the no man’s land between the two forces. Small plush piles surrounded We’rika left and right. Near his feet, a particularly large mound of casualties began to groan and shift. Josh emerged from its depths and held his temple with a whimper of pain. A bruise had formed where his fingertips were rubbing gingerly. He pulled a lamp from underneath a pink pony. “Why the hell would you throw this?!” He rose to his feet shakily just in time to take another strike to the head, this time it was a much less damaging throw pillow. He growled out a frustrated sigh, “Godda-” He spotted his burly Mexican roommate and bit his tongue to hold back the obscenity. He greeted Rika nervously, “H-hi there!” His voice was a few octaves higher than normal due to his trepidation, and perhaps the light fixture he had taken to the skull. The boy glanced around at what damage had been done to the tiny apartment during the time he had been unconscious.

Stuffed animals as far as the eye could see. Pillows and blankets where littered in messy piles. No rrom had been safe from the carnage. It appeared as though the first attacks started in the living room and the violence had escalated from there. It was reaching it pentacle in the adjacent bedrooms. Josh cringed, “How did they manage all this while I was knocked out? I swear it wouldn’t have gotten this far if I could’ve stopped it We’rika.” The boy seemed pleading. After all, he did not want to get kicked out of another home.

Josh slumped on the floor with the larger man, both of them resembling whipped dogs hiding in the corner. The only safe place was to get away from the action. However, if the only two adults retreated that would certainly not put a stop to the fighting. The two of them, somehow, would have to sneak past the skirmish and put an end to the battle before the apartment was beyond repair. Josh sighed, "Barging down the hall is a bad idea. Take it from me." The teen rubbed at the black and blue bruise on his head. He glanced between the two raevans before he spoke again, "If we can protect ourselves long enough to make it to the bedrooms we can probably restrain them. You know, until they simmer down."

LuLu screeched as she flung a curtain rod down the hall. The makeshift javelin only managed to clear a few feet before in bumped into a wall and made sizable scratch on the plaster, though not going quite far enough to damage Sevilin's fort. Josh could only gape wide in horror at what the girl had done. He was in shock over the destruction of the apartment and curious how she had manage to tear the curtain rod from the wall when it was nailed in. The rabbit screamed at the top of her lungs down the narrow hall, "I am going to break your nose again!" The frei was practically spitting venom and seething with rage looking more like a cobra than a bunny. She began to move past her fort. Her small torso sailed over it until she rested on top of her wall of pillows. The girl was now open to attack, but she did not care. Getting a pillow to the face would be worth the reward of socking the sea fairy in the snout.

Josh motioned to We'rika when LuLu made herself vulnerable."Go go go." He cocked his head a bit derpily, "P-please. I.. I think you can take on Lu a bit better than me. I can get Sevvie."

Josh nodded at Rika's words. It was a confusing statement and shorter than it should have been to be a truly proper warning. Nonetheless, he took it to heart. If the huichol said not to touch Sevilin directly, then he would make a point to avoid it. He gulped. It would have been far easier if Sevilin wore full sleeves or something that did not resemble like thin chiffon. However, there was not enough time to contemplate this. The teenage boy could only hope for the best as he darted opposite of the larger man and when into a full sprint at the sea fairy, years of physical maintenance finally came in handy as he built up speed much faster than his counterpart.

Within seconds he was on Sevilin. One arm snatched for the purple fabric of his wrist covers while the other tried to twist into the front of his shirt and take him to the ground. He beckoned back to We'rika, "How ya doing over there?!"

LuLu's advance towards Sevilin was cut short as a rather gargantuan Mexican barreled down the hallway towards her. He took up most of the space between the narrowly set walls. Avoiding him would be nearly impossible. The frei hissed between clenched teeth and braced herself for whatever impact was coming to her. She would be ready.The faster she got through We'rika, the sooner she could go scratch Sevilin's face off.

The rabbit allowed the man to capture her, his arms encircled the petite girl completely. A hiccuping gasp escaped her lips as some of the air was knocked from her lungs. Still, her brain whirred with activity as she looked for any openings in the wall of muscle surrounding her. Amethyst eyes focused on a patch of bare skin on his arm. Her slight chin dipped down as she lowered her head. Pearly teeth met their target with grace and dug firmly into the patch of rough brown flesh.

Josh spared a peek over his shoulder to examine the hoarse bellows coming from behind him, just long enough for him to cringe and thank the heavens he had shoved the dirty work over on his cohort. Lu was not a clean fighter and she was more resilient that she looked. The boy would have to make it up to We'rika later, possibly with a round of beers and some friendly banter about just how crazy their raevans were. "I-I am sorry Rika! I swear she has nothing dangerous."

For now though, his attention was drawn back to Sevilin and the fairy's shrill cries. Lu's guardian rolled his eyes and hissed. "If you two would stop behaving like hoodlums we would not have to settle things like this." He squared his jaw tightly and continued, "The sooner you calm down and agree to be civil, the sooner I can get my heavy a** off you Sev." The boy replayed the words he had chosen in the back of his mind and scolded himself on the use of an expletive. Nevertheless, they may have been beyond modesty by now.

Josh narrowed his eyes and settled a little more of his weight atop the frei. By no means was he the next heavy weight champion, but he figured it would be enough to persuade Sevilin to see his viewpoint a little bit better.

On the other hand, LuLu was determined to give We'rika a run for his money. "EEK! STOP THAT NOW!" The rabbit whimpered, tears practically forming in the corners of her eyes, as the larger man manged to hone in on her weak spot. Her blond ears trembled in agony as they snapped upwards harshly. They had never received such rough handling before and were certainly unaccustomed to the treatment. The frei tried her best to work through the tingling pain that shot through her back like waves of electricity. She rolled her shoulder and managed to free one of her petite arms from Rika's vice-like grip. Her hand shot out and hooked into his mop of hair. Nimble fingers tangled in the bleached tresses as she gave a powerful tug of her own.

It seemed foul play was going to be countered with more foul play.

LuLu realized her mistake quickly when the large man failed to even utter a whimper at her latest attack. In fact, he looked more bored than concerned or even uncomfortable. We'rika's face was held to the side. She could see the thick muscles in his neck flexing. However, it appeared the only way to cause him any pain this way would be to literally sever his head and that would not be happening anytime soon by tugging on his stringy hair.

The rabbit released him in favor of trying a new attack. Unwittingly, she played right into the man's hand. She found herself pinned to the shaggy carpet and painfully aware of how badly it needed to be vacuumed. The frei squirmed and trashed like a wounded animal beneath Rika. Her voice rang octaves higher than what was ever thought possible as she spewed venomous threats at him. Minutes passed before she finally resigned to a low simmer on the floor. Her arms and back had developed a distinctive case of carpet burn. The inflamed skin only matched the shades of red clouding her vision. Her rage still bubbled just beneath the surface. Her glare was locked on We'rika. "I hate you." Her voice called to the other side of the hall. "I HATE ALL OF YOU!"

Josh rolled his eyes at Sevilin then cringed and LuLu. Still using his full weight to pin the frei down. He was almost tempted to clamp a hand over the fairy's mouth, but that would cause him to touch skin to skin. The boy was still afraid what weird advantage that would give the small raevan. He sighed, "Just think, if you calm down and stop getting Lu worked up you can both get back to whatever it was you were doing before." The boy honestly did not even care what that something was. So long as it did not involve them chucking alarm clocks and lamps down hallways.

Josh quirked a brow at Sevilin's sudden revelation to become a lifeless corpse, flopped on the floor like a string with its tension cut. However, the boy's expression fell into a satisfied smile. Perhaps they were finally seeing eye to eye. He moved off of the frei with care then offered Sevilin a hand to hoist him from the ground. He chuckled, "Much less fuss when you cooperate, huh?"

On the other hand, LuLu was still stewing in her anger. She was not quite ready to admit her own defeat, but at this point her efforts had been reduced to her giving an occasional spasm on the ground and muffled squeal like a dysfunctional toy. She tried to look past the man's bulk to see how her enemy was fairing against her guardian, but all efforts were thwarted by We'rika's biceps. "You are big." It was more of an observation. "And ugly." That was an insult.

LuLu could only huff belligerently and sink into her spot on the carpet. She threw We'rika one more withering gaze for good measure in a feeble attempt to wipe the grin from his face. Seriously, that things was freaking her out. She was glad he did not smile often.

Her ears twitched upward as she caught the sound of air whipping. Someone was running towards them. Wait, no, there was a lack of footsteps. That was not quite right. A certain someone was floating towards them and was building momentum rather quickly. LuLu nearly screamed when Sevilin's hand was suddenly mere centimeters from her own face, invading her space even more than Rika's nose snuggling deeply into her bosom. The rabbit hissed at the fairy and tensed against her captor's hold. Sevilin presence acted like a red hot burner heating her rage to frothing once again. "Come closer and I will bite you too you ugly fish face!" She flexed her arms again straining and working to get free. Panting and growling like a caged beast she screamed again, "Since when have you cared about anyone besides yourself?!"

Meanwhile, Josh laid face first in a pile of teddy bears where Sevvie had tossed him like a handful of trash. Part of him wondered if her really wanted to even get up. The sooner he got up, the sooner he would have to dive into the skirmish yet again. We'rika could take them both right? He sighed. No, he couldn't. That was like getting caught between an earthquake and a tornado. Josh did not have it in him to be that cruel. He rose to his feet and jogged back down the hall.
