After glaring and huffing at the life hunters the other day, Marcus was not looking forward to being shoved under their watch along with a number of other moons in order to get the labs operational. Marcus was chaffing enough with the constant repair work and lack of personal time, but after talking in passing with the other moons, it seemed the majority of their division was doing the work. Technical aspects trickling down to just basic grunt work that they'd normally pull trainees for. Sadly no, it was repair work, so all the moons got dragged in. A few mists too. But mists could claim work in other areas.
No one wanted suns around for obvious reasons. Life hunters kept sticking their noses into everything and offering 'helpful' advice. Death was... trying to stick s**t into the walls to spy on each other.
The moons, Marcus included, were not looking forward to the work in the labs. H could be there. Plus the trainees Robert and Leon were around likely to break things. Marcus just wanted to get to work and have it over and done with.

Today was rubble day, wheelbarrows brought out to drag debris to a dump nearby. Stuck with the short end of the stick, Marcus along with another newly promoted moon were stuck on running duty. Which was basically just a lot of pushing and pulling and arms throbbing from the strain. Small times when he was thankful for being a hunter? He wouldn't be too sore later thankfully.

Rolling onto the small makeshift wooden ramp, the wheelbarrow was brought in to take the more hazardous materials like glass and things that were likely to shank someone if they fell. A wheelbarrow full of tetanus. Great fun. He managed to dump it where it needed to go, but there were three more. He was not excited about that aspect. Still he did his work, ignoring the jabs of passing life hunters and the pitiful looks of the moon hunters working the infirmary.
He just wanted to be done for the day, go back to Cass's room, and maybe play a game. Maybe.
