So far in my journey through Buddhism I have only focused on the teachings of Buddha, basically learning as much as I can about the majority of the religion. My question is about chants. I have heard a lot about the more spiritual part of Buddhism such as chants and other things of that nature but where would I find those chants to learn about them (I am Therevada) I am still trying to find a good temple because the one I currently go to seems to have been more Americanized (I know someone who moved and goes to a Buddhist temple that works very differently than mine. So until I find a better temple, where can I find the chants and learn about their nature?

The two links I've provided below lead to sites with extensive collections of audio files. Most are lectures in the Therevada tradition, some are guided meditations, and some have chanting. I find myself listening to these eight tracks every morning before and/or on my way to university in the morning, and later again on my way home. Some of the chanting is in English, some in Pali.

These are great, but is there anyway I there is a Pali pronunciation guide?
Also, are there chants (I know of one that monks say before walking that is somewhat like this) that would be said before eating meat, because it is from something that was living?
