Since no one in the thread would help me, I will post it here. This the the character I want to enter in the contest but I want to get opinions on his personality and history. I already talked with Tan and she said I could make him.

Name: Arew Full name is D'narew
Gender: Male
Species: Ice/Shifter Hybrid
Appearance: Hair is short and white with the blue frostings of the ice tribe. His skin does not get as light as the rest of his famliy durring the phase of the moon but instead takes on the color of the ice tribe while shifting to the darker tones durring the day. His eyes are a mix of the golden yellow on the right and the shifter on the left. His feet are bare, while he has a pair of brown shorts on. He does not wear a shirt and has an intricate armband on both arms. On his hip the stones form a pattern almost akin to a flower. A mixture of both tribes stones. On his shoulder a stone mixed of both kinds sits. As well as an alternating pattern like a choker on his neck.

Personality: Arew is cautious, but caring. He hates to cause trouble and tries his best to avoid conflict, but conflict and troube always have a way of finding him. He cares deeply for his family and will try his hardest to do what she can for them, even if it means reluctantly heading for danger. Despite the fact they misstreat him, after all the the only way to survive in this world is by working together even if you don't get along. When it comes to his younger sister, he's often the one who keeps her secrets following her to make sure she is kept from harm. He has the uncanny ability to know when she's up to no good, and he's always there to keep the brunt of the trouble at a good distance. Witty and sometimes sarcastic. Arew knows when to give in when all looks lost.

He is dependable for the requirements given to him from the tribe, and never fights back often going above and beyond the task given him. Sometimes though, he will agree to things and never follow through with them. Often because these requests are considered selfish or even completely out there. To the avrage person he can seem rather stoic if obverved from a distance, rarely if ever the first to talk. Enjoys watching the world around him and even more so the sky. Animals are a fasination and probably the few things that draw his true interest.

Through his good nature of working together to survive, he does deep inside have anger he tries to supress after years of abuse from his family and tribe. He never lashes out towards anyone or anything when he knows hes being watched. Though in secret when the feelings become to much he will often pick up a stick and start smacking a tree stump. Training for when he would be able to hold a sword one day.

He believes that due to his fathers half, he is every bit a monster. The reasons for his thoughts are because his father has never come to find him, and if his father doesn't want him how could he not be a monster? He has no clue his father is really dead. Rew believes him to be alive and just not interested in his half breed son.

History: Concieved to a shifter mother durring her travels though Zena. She had fallen in love with a Ice father who died trying to protect them from a Raptrix. She didn't give birth to him until she had returned home to Jahaur where though she was accepted the rest of the tribe she had returned to didn't accept the new infant. It was hard for Arew to really accept the physical features that seperated him from the rest of his family. He was picked on by his older siblings and even his own tribe members and adopted father as he grew up, though his mother loved him greatly he once he was old enough to fully understand what he was he started to resent her love and felt it was nothing more than pity for his creation and guilt for her own straying. He had asked what happened to his real father the day he realized that who he had considered his father had not actually been so. Though he was never given an answer and he tried not to bring it up again seeing how it had pained his mother so.

His youngest sister was the only one of his siblings to accept him as exactly what he was and not the twisted halfbreed his tribe considered of him. Her kind nature allowed him the desire to protect her. So he had done as best he could so far. He had thought that in time she would forget the love and bond shared, and turn out like the rest of the family. He was pleasently suprised with each passing year how much she still cared for him. As the pair grew The tribe continued to press the worst tasks on the half shifter, along with the constant beatings for any infractions no matter how small or insignificant it became rare to even hear him speaking. His tribe stoped hearing his voice not long after his 15th pass. Though he will warm up to those who show him affection.

Arew believes his whole purpose in life is to serve his tribe for the betterment of everyone in it and not as an individual. Despite the way they treat him deep down he wants someone to reach through the fog and give him the affection he sees being shown to everyone else.

That would be more of what I was thinking when it came to his hair! as for the fur I'll take it off thank you

After some help from Silver I have done a complete personality overhaul

I understand you are busy. guess I'm used to getting completely brushed off and ignored in the other shops. So I posted to keep it relevant.

Requests from children or people who don't have a clear authority. Unless he deems it suitable to the tribe. He will agree but not do. as for unreasonable tasks from elders. He believes Elders would know best no matter how insaine the task might be.

He will agree to things more to appease people than risk causing a disturbance.

I'm terrible at Critique but I'll give it a whirl.
His history, though summarized, certainly shows the kind of turmult and frustration he must have gone through. I kind of want more though.
Appearance: He sounds fascninating to look at. My only problem is the heterochromia. Thats kind of rare. But if you want it, great. Just note that the differing colors might influence how he sees. I don't have as big a beef with it as with rishima's eyes >.> but thats really my only problem. I can't wait to see his pretty hair and skin.

Connections... I think you should keep him connected :3
it adds richness and depth to a character. Even if you're still just questing him, having that connection, I think Really helps. He was connected to Alassiel, right? Don't give up!

Personality wise... I'm a bit confused. It might help if you put up his base traits.

I really like D'narew.
He seems to have a very intricate internal life, which will no doubt lead to great solos... and hopefully some great interactions with other characters.

I do agree that, if Tasinei is up to it, you should keep him connected to Alassiel - particularly because his Sister seems to be such an important part of both his personality and history.

I am curious about what he thinks of his real father, since you say he never really found out the true story. What does he think of his father? In his mind, is he really part-monster? How does this affect his self-perception?

Elaborate on that a little bit, if you will.
Does that mean he sees himself as part-monster?
Does that add to his desire to be kind, especially in front of people, or does it make it more difficult for him, and feed those more violent/angry urges when he's alone?

Do you think, when he does meet someone of the Ice Tribe, he'll have any sort of revelation?
