Ice field : The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks

Zinnia entered the stadium with Zyk on her shoulder and Dreydonna floating along by her side. "Hey, 'Donna," she said to the ghost, "There's a new strategy that I picked up while battling. I'd like to try it out... if you don't mind?" She smiled.
Dreydonna returned the smile, though it was anything but encouraging. She was well-known for doing her own thing. Still... she was a bit curious about this supposed strategy. She floated out onto her spot on the freezing field. Luckily, as a ghost, she didn't mind things like temperature.

Cetus itched the back of her head, shifting the corner of her ruby red wig just up a smidgen so a lock of her natural green hair peeked out. She stuffed it back in when her opponent appeared, sliding her free hand from her pocket to wave at her opponent.
"Dah, nice meet you, ya!" She bellowed towards Zin, sustaining a rather convincing Russian accent. "I'm Fran! We has good battle, dah!"
Menty was already on the ice, boggle-eyed and slipping around from left to right on the field. Cetus couldn't help sweat-dropping at the Beaver Pokemon's inability to stay still. Of all the 'Doofs she could've obtained from Felicity Island, she had to get a derpy one . . .

"Alls right! Menty, give zem poison! Toxic!" Cetus cried, injecting her index finger into the air.
When Menty didn't move, that finger crooked and Cetus's mouth squiggled into a wiggly line. She wasn't nervous, was she? D-Did she not hear her? Closer inspection proved that the Bibarel had heard her just fine. It's just . . . the half-Normal, half-Water type was drooling the purple gunk all our in front of her . . . and not shooting it out towards the enemy Gengar.
"Menty, spit! Spit!"
Well, she listened here. The Bibarel spat a glob of the Toxic she was letting simmer in her mouth at the Ghost-type, slipping on the ice from the force she used to hack it up.

"(Not bad...)" Dreydonna cackled as the poison fizzled through her gaseous body.
"Poison Jab!" Zinnia shouted.
Oho, so it was Dreydonna's turn to show the bibarel how poison works when used properly? She dove forward, her claws dripping with a nasty, purplish liquid.

Menty just barely missed Dreydonna's attack, her misstep causing her to slide on her own drooled up Toxic and thonk face-first onto the ice. A surface also met Cetus's face, but it was the underside of her palm as she tried to reason with reason. Okay, so, the attack missed. Great. But she was looking more like an idiot than she realized now.
"Surf!"
Water raised up Menty by her underside and she rolled over as a torrent of water gushed up and crashed over the frozen battlefield.

"Maybe it's not the best strategy for us..." Zinnia noted when Dreydonna's attack failed. Then, it was back to their usual style! "Dreydonna, use Drain Punch!"
That was more like it! Dreydonna pulled herself back together after being washed away by the wave, and flew toward Menty with her fist curled. Time to steal some health!
