Seren lifted the bag of coins up to his ear, giving it a jingle before his lips turned up into a bright smile, "You hear that, Baby? It's more then enough for the inn, a good meal, and travel expenses to the next town!" He chirped in an excited manner. The fact that the two of them lived from show to show, town to town, never really bothered the man all that too much. Really all that mattered was the fact that they were as free as they were at the moment. Sure, he knew that he might one day need to settle down but as it stood now he was happy, so was Baby but then again how could he not be? Someone in the crowd had given the Hallow a lollipop after the show and the blue, bomb-like critter had been sitting on his head, chewing on it since.
The moment that 'a good meal' was mentioned Baby perked up, looking down at him, and asked, "Can I have cookies?" The Hallow seemed to live on sugar, never wanting to eat anything else but highly sugared up treats ever since they had first bonded, something that Seren had tried to fix on a couple of occasions by trying to get him to eat other things. Baby wasn't having it.
"Cookies, huh? I suppose so. Sounds like we should have enough to cover cookies along with real food for those of us who need it." He said, lifting a hand to give the round Hallow a poke in the side before chuckling. Tugging his coin purse away he paused at the intersection they were at, going over the lay out of the town, and set to debating on which inn they should go to. Probably the one run by the old lady, it had the best food after all, and the prices weren't too bad either, "I think that we should... eh?" Seren gave a squeak when the lollipop was suddenly being tossed up into the air, leaving to have to juggle it before catching it, "Where you going, Baby?" He asked of his Hallow. It became clear a moment later when he saw the Hallow bouncing off toward a pale colored girl. If it wasn't sweets it was girls with him... giving a shake of his head he trotted after the Hallow, figuring that he could see about renting them a room later, after he was able to gathering him back up.
Bouncing on ahead of Seren the bomb-like, Baby, was quick to follow the pale girl the moment he'd seen her. So pretty! He just wanted to see her! To meet her! So exciting! Waving his little arms around in the air as he got closer his wick seemed to spark, flickering now, and just as he was getting close to her and just within reach he burst into a mass of stars and glitter. Seren stood there for a long moment, then started to laugh, ever amused. It didn't matter how often he saw it he couldn't help but to laugh at poor Baby and what happened when he was around girls, "Good evening." He greeted the witch girl that Baby had been chasing as he came to stand near where his Hallow had quite literally exploded, waiting for him to reform himself, something that never took long. A good thing given as often as this happened.
