Ice field : The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks

"Brr!" Zinnia said, shivering despite the coat she was wearing. "Let's finish this battle quickly, Zebo, okay? Then we can warm up again in the pokemon center."
"Purr," Zebo agreed, jumping down from the trainer's podium and onto his spot in the field. He nearly slipped on the landing, but he dug his claws into the ice. Brr! His paws were freezing already!

Lenore walked into the stadium, Mephistopheles creating a fire to keep her warm. She sent out Jin-Gitaxias, who expressed his pleasure at seeing his favorite subject.
"Ah! We meet again, Zebo! You really are a fascinating specimen. Most of the others never show up for their return visit - a mystery, truly."

"Use Swagger, Zebo!" Zinnia shouted.
Yeah, that's a real mystery... Zebo thought sarcastically as he coughed his way through yet another cloud of poison. He wasn't feeling too tough at that moment, but if he was good at anything, it was being cocky.
He thrust his nose into the air and strutted around the ghost.

Jin-Gitaxias was confused. "Strange. That particular poison was meant to do bodily harm, but it seems to have affected your brain. Curious." The poison smog coalesced, dropping on the field.

Zebo wasn't sure what good the attack was doing, but after the sense of nausea passed, he began strutting around once more. What an annoying ghost! How dare he experiment with poisons on his body...

Gitaxias mood fell. "Oh, dear. I seem to have caused permanent damage. And after Lenore told me not to, even!" His mood picked back up. "Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Let's see how far your mind can go."

"Ack! It's not working!" Zinnia said to herself. Was it too late to change strategies? "Use Snarl!"
Zebo began snarling at Gitaxias, his furr standing on end. This, at the very least, was easy for him to do. Ooh, he wanted to scratch up that ball of hot air!

Gitaxias continued to observe the behavior of the purrloin. "Subject has descended into a feral state. Further analysis warranted." Some of the smog above Zebo solidified into needles, dropping down over the poisoned pokemon.

Zebo leaped out of the way, luckily. He landed and continued snarling, arching his back like a feral cat. He was still feeling ill from the ill-effects of the poison.
