The swamp, it really was fascinating! After the fire festival, Step to the Right had decided to visit again, to see the swamp in better light, as it were. It was so... Green! Green and wet! Water everywhere! Or it seemed like it was everywhere to the desert-born buck. He hopped over a downed log, looking over everything. He had to stop and smell everything! This was great!

Every little sound was like... music. The frogs, the hum of bug wings, the rustle of the leaves in the trees... Even the unsteady footfalls of Right himself. He soon found himself dancing over the roots and muck. The feather tied to his horn twirled and swayed with every movement. He just felt... Alive~

As he was dancing, he didn't pay attention to the puddles or anyone around him.

It was a lovely day. The swamp was rather quiet, aside from the lovely hum it had in all its rest. A breeze was sweeping through the trees, rustling the leaves ever-so-slightly. On such a nice day, it was hard to stay hidden away, and Floating Leaf soon found herself sitting in a patch of sun, listening to the leaves, just feeling the rays against her coat.

Her eyes were closed, but she could hear light footsteps as they approached. They were light, however, and didn't seem to be terribly close. Unfortunately, the green doe had not yet learned what the hooves of kin other than her own fellow kimeti sounded like, and she realized all too late that the footsteps were quite a bit closer than she had originally anticipated. She opened her eyes just in time to see some blue fur and a twirling feather before a splash of swamp water sent her rolling onto her back, startled!

She wasn't hurt at all, just surprised. A small gasp accompanied her tumble, and she was quick begin righting herself -- though it took a moment for her to find her coordination, legs spinning a second before she rolled to her side so that they could find the ground. She scrambled to stand, shaking the water off of herself before blinking at some water dripping over her eyes as she looked up to see just who it was that had startled her.

Unsure of what to say, she was quick to resort to a default: "I'm sorry!"

Right had heard the gasp a moment too late. He hadn't seen the doe, and it wasn't his intention to splash her... But when she tumbled and flailed on the ground it took every ounce of willpower not to laugh at the display of her flailing legs. Instead, he lowered his head to her with his best "shame" face.

"Please m'dear, I'm the one who should be sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." Even though he was trying his best to be apologetic, his voice did betray his amusement. But when wasn't he amused? It seemed that no matter what, the acha buck would find a reason to smile or laugh - even if it wasn't appropriate. "Are you alright?" He tipped his head to the side as she shook the water off, doing his best to keep it from splashing into his eyes.
