As soon as you escape the Imperial City dungeons and strike out on your own, the best thing you can do is take on the quest "Go Fish" in Weye on your way out of town. You just slaughter 12 slaughterfish and take the scales to the quest-giver, and you've got yourself a ring enchanted with waterbreathing. 3nodding How useful is that! I must say, fellow guild member, that quest saves your life if you happen to seek the final goodies of the Thieves Guild quest line. These quests sometimes throw you into deep water at the end.
