Hey everyone! ^_^ here are some poems I wrote a while back...so, I decided to submit them razz Tell me what you think, comments are appreciated and constructive criticism(however, don't be overly insensitive). Thanks!


"With You Here"(poem#1)

My comfort level-at an all-time high,
Uneasiness subsides,
Hormones float around the room,
You are my protector, my companion, and most of all...
my lover...

Being selfish isn't an option,
Unless it is to steal one more kiss,
Envy does not even play a part,
By the true passion of two it is consumed.
Lies are not welcome here,
HATRED is a fictious little creature...
whom we never give life to.

As you touch and tease,
pleasure and please,
Satisfying all desire,
Love unfolds in its whole entire...

With you here, all despair deteriorates,
Sadness---a thing of the past,
For I am no longer frightened, depressed or unsure and
Have to come to grips with my surroundings...



"Secrets"(Poem#2)

I hold so much stuff inside of me,
The hurt keeps building up,
Wishing I lived another life,
Feeling used, brainwashed, & lifeless,

Head is pounding, heart is racing,
Inside I hear voices screaming,
Outside, my body is a statue...
Which has no emotions.

At one time I knew happiness
Now all I see is nothingness,
Sadness is a thing of the past,
The emptiness is tearing a hole in my heart<3
