It would be a bit before Leo returned, but at least he did and seemed no worse for the wear really. "Well, that is settled." He closed the door and leaned back against it, seeming rather amused. "I spoke highly of you and now Alexanrie is curious. She seemed disappointed when I said she would have to wait until dinner to meet you." He chuckled and shook his head. It was only now that the D'Angeline looked to see what Rio had found to occupy his time while he was alone.

When Leo returned, Rio was settled on the bed with his boots off - really, he'd gotten so used to just not wearing shoes that he found them a bit bothersome - and was quite happily reading one of his companion's books. It was...hmm, well, fascinating, in polite terms.
The god looked up from his reading when Leo spoke, smiling brightly. "Is she? Oh, dear! I hope I can live up to expectations." He did feel slightly less impressive while masquerading as a mortal, though most of his confidence did remain intact. "I'm glad to see you're still in one piece, though. The way Gabriel and the children were talking, I was a bit worried."

"I am sure you have nothing to worry about." Leo crossed the room and sat on the edge of the bed, sliding his own boots off before turning to lay down beside Rio. "Alexandrie did yell for a bit and call me names, it was more worry than actual anger though. Once she got that out of her system it was a rather civil conversation." He shrugged, resting his head on his hands and looking up at Love. So long as there was no permanent damage done there was nothing to worry about.
After a bit he glanced at the book Rio had chosen and chuckled. "I thought you might like that. It is required reading, you know." He made a thoughtful noise. "If I forget, remind me to get you to sign a contract later. It will make for less questions. In the meantime...mm..." The lion stretched lazily. "Was there anything in particular you wanted to do, since we have a few hours yet before dinner?"

"I can understand where she'd be concerned. It's not every day one of you up and disappears, I take it." He'd grown somewhat accustomed to various people in his life doing just that, but even then it could still be rather worrisome.
Rio put the book aside, shifting position to lay beside Leo. "I do quite like it. Ishkhara would find it rather entertaining as well, I think," he speculated, chuckling. "But then she'd probably show Adi.." Which was simultaneously amusing and slightly disconcerting.
"Hopefully between the two of us, we'll manage to remember." He cuddled contentedly up to the dancer. "Nothing that's immediately pressing, no."

"Without prior warning? Practically never." Most of a Servant of Naamah's life was by a schedule, until their marque was made at least.
"I would ask if it would be such a bad thing for her to learn..." But if you considered Adi's actual age she was more than a bit young yet. Even Leo had not started learning about such things until he was thirteen. If that seemed too young still- one would have to consider the fact that D'Angeline's were considered adults at sixteen.
He shifted a bit so he could wrap an arm around Rio. "There is always the option of cuddling and a nap."

"No, it would not, although Orin may beg to differ," Rio said with a chuckle. "It would have been convenient to have something like this for her, although she did well by the girls, I think." Shy and Ishkha had been a bit more involved with the details of that aspect of the werewolf's education, mostly for the practical fact that they were, well, girls.
And even for a very casual Love god, they were some slightly awkward aspects to those sorts of conversations. "I like the sound of that very much."

Leo nodded in understanding, nuzzling and kissing Rio's cheek afterward. "I am a bit tired after the trip and everything." Its funny how traveling tires one out, even if it was not a particularly taxing journey, just long. They would have plenty of time for sightseeing and other things later.

"Mm-hm," Rio agreed, returning the nuzzle and the kiss before letting his eyes slide closed. A nap was definitely exactly what he needed.

A couple of hours later Leo would get woken up by a light knock on the door. He carefully disentangled himself from Rio, sat up and stretched before going to open the door. It was once of the apprentices, to let them known dinner would be in a half hour or so. "Thank you." He sighed a little when the girl ran off giggling.
He came back to the bed to lay down again, giving Rio a gentle nudge. "About a half hour."

Rio woke with a yawn when Leo moved, and blinked curiously at the door when the messenger went away giggling. There were several options for what could have caused that, and he was curious which it was. He propped himself up a bit and rubbed his eyes.
"She seemed amused by something," he noted, running a hand through his hair.

"Nicole has had a bit of a crush on me for years now. She seems to think I have not realized it yet." It was not an uncommon thing really. But even if Leo had wanted to something about it he could not, she was an apprentice and not to be touched. He leaned over and gave Rio a kiss. "Sleep well?"
Love fussing with his hair did remind the D'Angeline that he probably could stand to run a brush through his own. Now that they were here he would have to get used to preening more again.

"Ah-ha, I see." Rio chuckled. "They always think they're much more subtle than they really are. But I can certainly empathize with her." He leaned in to return the kiss, making a vague sound that was probably qualified as a form of 'yes.'
The god wasn't too fussed with how he looked, but he'd certainly need to straighten out his clothes and make sure his hair wasn't sticking up in some odd way....unlike when it had all just stuck straight up. That had really been a nightmare to fix when he slept on it in the wrong way.

"Mhm...I should probably get up and change, since I am quite sure I look like a rumpled mess." Leo's tone said he was not too particularly keen on the idea of getting up this minute however.

"I have no complaints." Rio smiled, brushing a lock of hair away from Leo's face before he sat up somewhat reluctantly. He'd been nice and comfortable, but it was time to get up and straighten himself up so he'd be presentable.

"I am glad." Leo would steal another kiss before getting off the bed and heading to his wardrobe. "If you want to change, my clothes should fit you." The legs on the pants might be a bit long since the lion was taller that Love preferred to be but that would not be such a big deal. For himself he pulled out a deep blue-grey silk top and black pants. "Pick whatever you like."
He left the door to the wardrobe open, both so allow Rio to choose clothes and so they would have access to the mirror that hung on the inside of the door. Fresh clothes were tossed onto the bed and stripped off his shirt.
