Yin was out of his room. Really, he was just tired of it being weird that he was sleeping in in the mornings, and that he did not want to go to the gymnasium. So sometimes it was just easier to leave, go out to the forest and climb a tree, go sit in a classroom and pretend to pay attention to a lecture. Or for example doing something like he was today. Something that people who did not train hours a day supposedly did for exercise. Taking their minipet on a walk.
Princess Eva had not stopped being enamored with her new collar since the Crown Princess (Miss Danny) had given it to her. That did not mean that he was even going to attempt to put a leash on her, not that it was likely that she would do anything other than stick to his side. The rabo herself was rather pleased. She was going to take her boil on a walk, and he needed it. He was staying cooped up inside far too much after all.
They had not been walking too long, a normal pace rather than the hurried one that Yin had used almost his entire life to not waste time, when the mantodae caught sight of a vaguely familiar form. Glasere Uller. He lifted his hand in a small wave of acknowledgement, noting that the other seemed to be taking a minipet on a walk as well, but made no move toward him. The smarter of the pair took one look at someone her boil had seemed to recognize, saw that there was some sort of creature with a mutation coming out of its...tail region, and decided that one way or another her boil was going to get out and actually talk to someone too. She bounded away toward the wintery pair, slowing as she neared and eyeing the other minipet like she was not entirely sure if she wanted to speak to it. Her boil followed her faithfully as she had known he would. Mission accomplished.
"Greetings Glasere Uller. I must apologize, it seems as if Princess Eva has an interest in you?" The weremantis just seemed slightly confused.

Walking Blizzard was an every day thing. Blizzard needed several walks a day or else he went stir crazy and bothered Snow. It made Uller huff and puff, because the boil really didn't feel comfortable walking the BBwolf with so many other minis about. Blizzard had a tendency to get playful and in minis faces if he thought they were playful enough. The mini was strong enough to yank the stag this way and that with whatever caught his interest, and Uller had given up on trying to tug him back on path. The boil was dressed in his full gear again, bangs down about his face while the rest of it was put up in a low slung ponytail. He knew not everyone enjoyed the cold here, so the full coat and shawl were for everyone else. It kept himself cold enough without freezing everyone else out. He had an interesting encounter with a Danny because of his coldness. But, he didn't hold a grudge against the ghoul. She was clearly fire based and he ice, of course there would be clashes between the two. There always would be, even if they had a one on one encounter instead of one in the Movie Club. Which reminded him. He should probably go check and see when the next meeting was, unless he'd already missed it. Ah, well. It seemed like a fairly casual club, either way. Yawning as Blizzard yanked him a bit faster, his attention was caught by a voice, rather than the mini. It was a slightly familiar voice, in the way his name was said. Turning his head towards the other boil, Uller arched a brow when Yin spoke. Well, now. Looking down to the boil's mini he wrinkled his nose. It was a fox. Like that stupid ghost fox creature thing. He shuddered at the memories of Kashi and then sighed. He nodded at Yin before he spoke. "Ah. Yin was it? I am sorry if I'm remembering wrong. Out encounter was brief." He looked down to the mini, this Princess Eva, again. "Perhaps she has. Or she's interested in, Blizzard here." That was Blizzard's cue to come up and sniff curiously at the little fox and then gave a playful kind of yip. His wings fluttered as his tail flicked back and forth, eager to play with her. It was a new kind he hadn't encountered yet!

Was it just Yin's imagination or had Glassere Uller not seemed entirely infatuated with Princess Eva? It had to be his imagination. "Yin is fine, and indeed it was." He had barely been able to greet the boil before the blue light had washed over them, putting them in the store. But at least he knew that this student was, well, a student. Not someone in disguise. Princess Eva eyed Blizzard. He was sniffing around, which was somewhat rude, but at least he was holding back somewhat. She flicked her tail thoughtfully before yipping back at him. The poor thing had wings growing out of its butt it seemed. That was the type of minipet one had feel slightly bad for. Yin just looked down at the two. "That may indeed be the reason. Are you just...walking for exercise?" Something dawned on him and a flash of worry crossed his face. "I do hope I am not keeping you from anything important. If you need to be on your way I would certainly not wish to keep you."Saint Sergio Idk what I'm doing /rolls around

Why would he be taken with a fox? Foxes weren't the best creatures in the world. Still, he sighed and shook his head. "You aren't keeping me from anything," he said, thinking a little bit. "I'm just walking Blizzard. He requires a lot of attention and care." He looked down to the wolf, who was currently elated that the other mini had taken to yipping back. Tugging on the leash, he got the wolf to sit and sighed heavily. Maybe he should go let Blizzard play with Frost one day. That would be amusing to watch, considering how much bigger Frost was then Blizzard. "I apologize if I came off as in a rush or anything. I just can't keep up with this one all the time. He tends to like to walk fast, which yanks me about like I weigh nothing." The strength behind Blizzard amazed him at times. Blizzard whined when he was forced to sit and then looked down at Princess Eva. He dipped his head, wanting to touch noses with her in a friendly kind of manner. His tail and wings were flicking excitedly still. She was just so cute!

"Oh no, you are perfectly fine, there is no need to apologize." Really, even if he had been rushing off to do something Yin probably would not have been in the least upset about his behavior. "Well, walking and running around the campus is a good way to find out where things are." There really were all sorts of things within a short walk from the school. A mountain that was painfully cold where bears lived that one could fight. The lake and swamps. The hot springs. Wait, that was it! "Have you managed to find where the hot springs are yet?" They were not that not difficult to find, but for those that had not been in Professor Moira's class they might not even know they existed. "There are all sorts of pools, hot ones, warm ones, cold ones...I think even ones filled with lava." He deflated slightly as he looked down. "But it is probably not the best place for minipets...I could walk you to where it is if you would like to know for later."Oh he was sitting! Blizzard must have been a good boy after all. Princess Eva looked pleased, as if she personally had caused that to happen. She leaned forward cautiously to touch noses with him...canines. What odd habits they had. Then she raised one of her front paws to paw at him daintily, not really sure how to play with one of these things but at least devoting her attention to him. He nodded when Yin said it was fine and then stretched himself out a bit. Uller wasn't quite sure what to say, that is, until Yin started talking again. Springs? He hadn't known any were here. Tilting his head to the side, he listened and blinked again. A cold spring? That would be good for him to go and relax for a while. Sometimes Uller needed to get away from everything and just have silence greet his ears. Then the boil had offered to show him, and he nodded readily. "Please. I had no idea there were springs near. I miss the cold springs from my home. They weren't exactly near my home, but we would go on vacation and go to the cold spring places. There were a few different ones." As an ice monster, he stayed away from the heat as much as possible. Jack knew the last thing he needed was a heat stroke. When Eva touched noses with him, Blizzard yipped happily and raised a paw to her. He put it down next to her and raised is butt, wiggling it and then started jumping this way and that. He wanted to play right now! So, he moved jumped at the other and licked her head before jumping back, and then side to side again. His master ignored him because Uller knew Blizzard wouldn't hurt another mini unless it gave him reason too.

Cold springs sounded absolutely horrendous, but Yin simply nodded and offered a small smile to the other boil. "It is behind the Undead dormitories," he pointed out so that Uller would not feel the need to follow him but rather walk beside him most of the way. As they walked he expanded his (somewhat limited) knowledge of them. "It is a rather nice springs. The main cavern is quite large and contains both warm and actually hot springs, with changing facilities in smaller caverns off to the side. They have garments to change into there, as well as showers. Then there are more small caverns leaving away from the main ones with the other types of springs. Some of us helped to clean them out during a class once."Princess Eva watched as the minipet wriggled and pounced about. This was all well and good, she could deal with it, until he licked her head. Horrified and tails fluffed she jumped back a bit, yipping in shock. It was with a relief that the boils were leaving and she fled after them. Following, not leading Blizzard in a game of chase or tag. Really.

The stag listened to the boil as he explained and nodded. Uller looked in the direction pointed and nodded. Interesting. He would definitely have to ask Tahki about it later. If she knew what Yin was talking about. Surly Yin wasn't lying to him, but he trusted no one right away. He also didn't want to look like an idiot by just bringing her there when there was nothing there. Pushing his bangs out of his face, he looked at Blizzard and frowned. Tugging on the wolf's leash, he watched as Blizzard calmed down and sighed a little before listening to Yin again. So it sounded lie a professional sort of spring. Not one unattended. Interesting. He tapped his chin with a finger delicately before nodding again. "I see.. Well, your knowledge of them has come in handy. Any other places of interest I should know about about or would you rather me leave you in peace?" Yin seemed like a boil of few words. Like he didn't want to be bothered a lot. At least, that's the vibe Uller was getting from him.

Yin looked around for a long moment as if maybe something would come to him to tell the other boil about. They had arrived at the springs now, and Uller could see for himself if there was anything he wondered about. It was a rather delightful springs, and Yin was just happy to share the space. "No, I really cannot think of anything. But if you require any additional knowledge I will do my best to assist you? It is no problem."
Bending down Yin scooped up Princess Eva, cuddling the rabo to him and she began to calm down a bit. Happily she nestled into her chest, occasionally looking down at Blizzard just to make sure he stayed down there where he belonged. Then she just concentrated on Yin. Her boil OuO

Nodding a little as he answered, Uller looked around the springs and moved towards one. He put his hand over it, feeling just how hot the steam was and pulled his hand back rather quickly. Ah, no. He wouldn't be going anywhere near that one. He liked a little warmth every now and then, however, he felt he would die in that heat. Sighing, he moved to yet another one and put his hand above it. This one didn't have steam coming off of it. Dipping his hand in, he felt that it was a neutral temperature. Or it felt like it anyway. "Thank you, for showing me these," he said after a moment. If he ever got any time with Tahki away from the Quizzle or classes, he would definitely ask her to come here. As a fried, though. They could make a day of it and bring their minis. Blizzard would like soaking. Snow? Not so much. "So, if I were to take someone here... Do many people show up?"

The first spring Uller went to looked perfect to Yin, but he simply trailed after him, watching him experiment with the pools. "Oh it is no problem. It is good to know that more people may be enjoying them in the future." And it was not as if they were a guarded secret or anything. His question forced Yin to think. "Well, when we cleared out the springs there were quite a few people here, so many know about their existence and seemed to enjoy them. The last time I was here there was no one else though, and they do not seem busy now. I suppose it may just depend on the day. And they may be more popular as the temperature lowers." Because for most going to the hot springs on a hot day did not sound ideal.

He nodded at that and bit down on his lip. Good. This was coming up to be absolutely perfect and in his favor, wasn't it? Clearing his throat a little, he looked over at the boil and sighed. "Thank you for your help, Yin. Really. I think I know what to expect now," he said after a moment, tapping his nails against his lip in thought. His teeth then came out to worry his lip as a hand moved through his hair. "Well... I'm sorry to take you away from your walk. I'm going to head back to the dorm now to figure some other things out.." He looked to the boil and arched a brow. He really hoped he didn't disrupt the boil's day too much by making him walk all the way out here. Yin was a calm boil, one he could see being friends with rather easily. "Do you want to have lunch with me sometime? I don't care for eating by myself. Perhaps I can get Frost and Tahki to join us?"

Really, he had not done much, but if the boil thought he had helped...Yin smiled a bit, pleased enough. But Uller...seemed to be thinking about something else. Unless he was just fidgeting, and Yin could understand that too. Just not biting his lower lip, because his teeth would make a mess of his lip. "It was not a problem Uller, it was nice to meet you." Really, walking anywhere, and not at a snail's pace, was nice. The invitation...that was unexpected, but he liked it. "Yes, I am sure that would be fun. And to see Frost in the Storm again as well. Tahki...I do not know if I know Tahki. Please just let me know whenever you wish to eat together and I will be happy to join you."

Uller nodded and gave the other boil a softer smile. Good. He was making friends, that was just what he was at this school for, on top of learning his abilities, but whatever. Classes were going really... really... really slow for him. Sighing, the ice boil looked about and tilted his head. "Well... I'll see you about then, hm?" He asked, as he headed back for the dormitories. He needed to get together with the two arctics to figure out when a good time for lunch with Yin would be. He failed to realize he totally left the other boil in the dust as he thought.

"Um, bye then!" Yin stared after the retreating figure and...well, it was nice meeting the other boil. Time to do his own thing now.
